The experience both before and during was fantastic. They were very accommodating and the tour itself is very good. Through WA they accommodated my pick up and a day change and a special request for drop off. The tour itself was good. The volcano was a bit cold and it rained, so come prepared. The gardens were nice, if you like plants. Otherwise it’s a good scenery. The lunch afterwards was good. They gave options and it comes with desert and coffee. It’s worth it.

Itinerary
The tour will begin with us trekking south along the Panamerican Highway until we reach the base of the behemoth “Iztaru” (a name of an indigenous village that was situated on the flanks of the volcano, and a likely candidate as a possible origin for the current name of the Irazu Volcano). The winding road traverses fertile lands in which all types and forms of vegetation are cultivated, all the while affording us a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys. And, at the very top of the summit, on a clear day, one can be privy to an unforgettable bird’s eye view of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
we will stop at the Lankester Gardens, a University of Costa Rica Center for investigation that protects more than 800 species of orchids, bromeliads and countless species of other plants.
Valley of Orosi, an area that overflows with unparallel beauty. We will be able to visit one of the few remaining colonial churches and we will stop to enjoy a scrumptious typical lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Well organized, chill atmosphere, very nice!! We had good weather thankfully. I was really happy and booked another tour with the agency the next day.
It was a good tour. Really enjoyed seeing the Central Valley. I would give tour 4.5; just wish we had known it would take 1 1/2 hours from our pick up just to pick up all other tour members. And the last to drop off of course. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable especially of the gardens. I’d recommend tour guide be a little more interactive throughout the drive and maybe an add more history to driving times. But enjoyed and would recommend but does include a lot of bus time
Jose was incredible and truly made our day special. Would recommend Jose to anyone!! Vehicle is brand new and sparkling clean.
It was well organized. The guide spoke English and was telling us a bit about the country, culture and nature. At the different sites he always gave us like a small introduction and then let us walk around on our own. If we had any questions we could ask him when being back at the bus. Along the fascinating volcano and Lancester Botanical Gardens and the beautiful Orosi valley we also stopped at some nice viewpoints. And the food in the restaurant was delicious.
The experience was great, the gardens were gorgeous and unbelievable to the eyes,as well as the volcano. Our tourist guide explain to us a lot of things about the country and were they came from, like old bills, national symbols... After a long day with my friends and teachers,I enjoyed everything pretty much.
Knowledgeable informative guide , good organization of time, full day program, enjoyable. Pickup was on time
Our flight got canceled so we were stuck in the US. That‘s why we couldn‘t participate. When we asked for a refund they didn‘t even give us half od the costs back. Not cooperative at all! Even after we explained to them our side of the story.
This tour is sadly not as interesting as it seems, so we were a bit disappointed. Lunch was average and not as tasty as other local restaurants we tried on different tours. Antonio, however, is a nice, knowledgeable guide and careful driver. We enjoyed his company, although he is a bit slow paced and old fashioned for young, energetic people like us. We feel like he would be a better match for people aged 50+, who enjoy to take it slow and not walk too much. Overall, we feel this tour is overpriced for what it offers.
See the view in the photo? I didn't get to see that because it was cloudy. You can't blame them for that. So the volcano was a bust. The Orosi portion. Yeah....there was goood points and their was bad points. The stop in to see the church was gorgeous, one should see it. HOWEVER: They drop you off six blocks from the church so that you have to walk to it. No problem there, I don't mind the walk. What I DID mind was the "forced death march". You are walking past six blocks worth of interesting little shops and stuff, and they are rushing you so that you don't get to stop in and look around. I would have liked to stop in and look around. The lunch by the lake in Orosi: The food was "meh", the coffee was great, and the picturesque view was spectacular. Great place to take a photo as a couple. Like, seriously beautiful. The Lankester church was interesting, although its graveyard was also interesting. I also felt rushed there. The Lankaster plant place was pretty. My wife loved it. I didn't care about it in the slightest and was bored to death. I don't care about plants. Overall this is a good tour, but is way too 'rushed', they don't let you stop and smell the roses or see the sights.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Maria was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable. Even with the clouds, the volcano experience was a cool and unforgettable one.
It was a great trip, however, it would have been great that the booking agent would have mentioned that it is important to go prepared for cold weather. It was windy and temperatures where around 36 degrees Fahrenheit. The guide Martin, was exceptional providing great information and tips. Leaving the cold mishaps, overall it was a fun experience.

Not a bad tour. This is one of the most interesting places around of San Jose, while there is no access to Poas and Turrialba.
In the orchid garden of Lankester in late February, orchids were very few. The park itself is beautiful

I loved the trip, I had problems with the viator app in the booking but the company tourist expeditions that made the trip, was able to help me without problem, and resolved my doubts and can do my tour on time, Alejandro our guide a 1000/10, the places, food and transfers were worth it, I recommend it!
Excellent tour, all fabulous by our guide Jerry Marbella tours, stunning scenery, it is cold, wears waterproof shoes, a raincoat and under jacket for cold.
It was beautiful view The cold at 6 degrees You can shop online A good time is early You see him. Central Valley It's kind of inexplicable how beautiful it feels up there. It is a place you should visit if you go to Costa Rica
100% Recomendado. Jesùs fuè un excelente guìa. Los lugares y comida cumplieron mis expectativas. Buena relaciòn precio calidad.
We travel with viator.com. We really doubt that Enterprise exists. When we wanted to express our opinion, the link did not exist. It was a big lie. We are looking for a taxi driver, who was neither prepared nor eager to explain anything about the places visited, but rather rushed us to finish the excursion quickly. This excursion is not worth 113 euros. The propaganda in Argentina indicates that it does not cost more than 30 usd, it was a scam and we would like to be recognized some of that money through tripadvisor since it is recommended through this page. Also tell us where to report in Costa Rica, in defense of the consumer, so that these people do not continue to scam tourists. I'd like to know where I can contact you, to send you all the codes regarding this alleged Enterprise.
Although it has been a few years since I was able to see a volcano and its surroundings is unique, to get there you have to walk some roads of loose stone and the landscape is spectacular, you can see the lake that was formed inside, a beautiful walk
