From San Jose Zipline, Atv, Surfing And Chocolate Tour

The adventure park was so fun! We did the ATV and Zip Lining! The guides were amazing! I would definitely recommend

We have been to many countries and have done ATV rides in most of them. This was by far the BEST one we have ever done. The trail was gorgeous through the rainforest, we never went on the same trail twice. We ended up at a waterfall that we were able to jump in. Incredible all the way through. Brian was our guide through on the ATV and he was great. After ATVing we had an amazing lunch that was included in the day. Multiple food choices to choose from. We had chick, fish and beef, all of which were delicious! After lunch we enjoyed a chocolate experience. It was the perfect blend of history, fun and lots of chocolate. We would 100% do this tour again.

We had such a great day from the moment the driver picked us up at our hotel until he dropped us off. We loved the Atv Tour and got to swim in the waterfall pools. Our guide. Darien was so fantastic. The lunch was delicious. After lunch, we went zip lining and all of the guides were really great. Our Driver Diego was amazing as well. He pulled over to show us a Costa Rican parakeet, we stopped to see alligators and grab anwe stopped to see alligators and grab a snack, and he brought us to a local spot for the most delicious fresh ceviche. Would highly recommend this amazing tour.

Truly fantastic and fun experience! We did the surf lessons and the ATV experience. Both were incredible and completely worth the two hour drive from San Jose. Our driver/guide Diego did a great job of making the drive interesting. We're exhausted, but in a good way!

Our driver Diego was great! He stopped at some cool look out spots along the way and was very knowledgeable of the area. Our guide Helen for the AatV tour was great and we had a blast. The chocolate tour with Heidi and Kia were FANTASTIC!! It was so intresting and cool to see the beginning to end proccess and be able to eat it all along the way. Will absolutely do it again next time I'm in Costa Rica!

I really wanted to give this 5 stars because the experience itself was wonderful! My family and I chose the zipline and the horseback ride and we loved it! The horses knew what they were doing hahaha. Thank goodness. It was an hour long horseback ride. It was an easy stroll, but the horses get excited when they know they are close to home and sometimes runs to it, so just make sure yoiu hold on to the reins and the saddle. For the zipline, We thought it was going to be a 'baby' zipline but we were taken up to the top of the mountain and zipped through ten platforms. I had some anxiety and trepidation at first because this was my first time but it was truly enjoyable. Will do it again! Just make sure that you follow instructions well and keep your dominant hand behind your head. I could not do this so I had to keep going backwards but it was fun! The reason I gave this four stars instead of five was because of the lunch. It was advertised as buffet lunch, but we had to put in an order for individual meals. Imagine the time spent with about 100 people waiting for their food. So we were late for our zipline but thank goodness the guys waited for our group. If they did not want to give out an all you can eat dish, the least they could have done was have all the plates ready for a quick pick up. That was so disappointing as I was anxious trying to make it to zipline in time. We really didn't get to enjoy our meals.

This excursion exceeded my expectations. Wonderful customer service from beginning to end. An "above and beyond' attitude from everyone we encountered. Our driver Diego was super kind and accommodating. I will go here again in the future with my family.

Super fun! Diego our driver was so nice and would make any stops necessary like going to the bathroom or grabbing breakfast real quick. The people at the park were so nice as well! They made us feel safe and have a good time while doing the zipline/ ATV. I’m glad I took a chance on this!

The surfing lesson was also fantastic, and the instructors were patient and encouraging. Loved the tour! We did the ATV and Zip lining, and we had a blast. The tour guides were great and super nice! Lunch was a 10/10 and included a whole meal with fish, beans, plantains, salad, vegetables, and rice. 10/10 experience, and would come again!

This was actually an 'adventure park', which I didn't realize when booking. The zipline was challenging. Because of the way they do it, it was hard to control. It was fun, but I'd choose another methodology next time. The Chocolate presentation was cute. Kia (not sure I'm spelling that right) and Jordan were lovely, kind, and so sweet. I wasn't feeling well, and they accommodated me readily and they were terrific, and the chocolate was really nice! Overall it was WAY too expensive for what we got.

My friends and I did ATV and Ziplining , let’s just say we have the time of our lives. Our ATV instructor was Juan and he was amazing . Zipling was truly an amazing experience overall. The instructor all were fun and extremely helpful. Overall I’d do again and again and again

The drive from the hotel (by airport) was about 2 hours due to construction closer to Herradura. The activities we did (horseback riding and ATV) were nicely planned and guided by experts. The entire trip was an excellent experience.

This tour was worth every penny, from San Jose pickup to dropping us off were so smooth. Our driver, Diego, picked us up on time and was knowledgeable about the roads and some of the mountains we passed by. We did surfing and atv. Both were amazing. Our instructor, Mario for surfing was very nice, accommodating and very patient with us. We learned so much from him and taught us so well. He was very funny as well. Sebastian was our tour guide for atv, he was also amazing and accommodating. Just beware, there’s only specific locations for pickups and drop-offs, we were just fortunate that our hotel is one of those.

The ATV and ziplining was 10/10. The staff was so nice and friendly! I would highly recommend this excursion.

We did ATV and Zip-lining. These excursions were so worth the price and the location of these activities was so cool. You can hear the constant chirping of the cicadas throughout your adventure. If you're looking for nature vibes, this place is it. Safety was a top priority for the guides. Each person had helmets for both activities and gear checked. Every guide was super chill and friendly. The ATV experience was exhilarating. It is easy to loose control of your ATV so be careful and do not be cocky bc these things can be dangerous af in the wrong hands. Driving through the forest was so much fun and we got to stop at a waterfall and jump in. The humidity + cold water = best combo. For the zip-lining, each checkpoint was better than the next. The views were incredible, we were so high above the trees and there were still more trees beside us, below us, above us, I was honestly amazed. Standing so high in the trees at each checkpoint was so scary but totally worth it. Cold fruit at the end of each activity was the best touch. 10/10 would recommend this place.

ATV/Ziplibibg experience was amazing- Diego the driver was very nice but I felt that he was careless with the safety of the passengers; constantly on the phone not focused on the road, the passenger next to him was showing him pictures on the phone and he thought it was priority over safety. The speeding in bad weather was not acceptable at all. But overall the place was good the female workers have the worse attitude while the men are friendly and welcoming.

As four friends visiting Costa Rica for the first time, this was hands down one of the BEST experiences of our trip! We did both the ATV tour and zip lining, and honestly, we can’t say enough good things about either activity. The ATV ride was such an adventure, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the local plants and wildlife. The stop at the waterfall was absolutely gorgeous. Getting to jump in and swim was the perfect refreshing break and made the experience even more special. The zip lining was just as unforgettable. The views were absolutely breathtaking, soaring above the treetops with that scenery is something we’ll never forget. It truly gives you a whole new perspective of Costa Rica’s natural beauty. The professional photos were stunning (we ended up buying them because they were too good not to!). Huge shoutout to Jordan, Kia, and Manuel for making our day so fun, smooth, and memorable. All of the guides were extremely kind, professional, and always safety first, which made us feel comfortable the entire time. This is a MUST DO for anyone visiting Costa Rica.

The ziplining was awesome! Lots of different lines and some of them very fast and long. The chocolate tour was delicious and really interesting and informative. Lunch was great too. The whole staff at the park was amazing.

We really enjoyed the Atv ride tour. The views at the water falls were amazing. The horseback riding was ok. A little rough for me:-) but it was also my first time riding. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lunch buffet was bland (disappointing). Tip: Read the additional info/cost information when booking. Overall it was a good experience.

Our guide was Diego. We had much fun on the way to the park. He was very fun and experienced! We stopped few times and saw beautiful views/wildlife. At he park, we did horseback riding and surfing. The horse ride was smooth. We went through a trail leading to a small creek. We had a chance to get in the water to cool/chill off. The horses were nice. My son also had a great time surfing at Jaco beach. His coach was helpful and experienced. The waves were great! We will definitely recommend the adventure park.

Amazing experience great staff at the adventure place. We did horseback and ATV. Although nothing on the company but the girl in front of us during ATV kept taking selfies and holding us up. Again nothing on the company but maybe restrict people from being on their phones during ATV. Again great place. Great customer service and attention detail. We had a blast.

Awesome experience. Our hotel wasn’t on the list but I reached out and they were able to pick us up. We even made a surprise stop along the way! Plenty of food is provided, everyone was super friendly and it was an overall amazing experience. I have a fear of riding horses after a bad experience in the past but the guides helped me feel comfortable and it ended up being a blast. Would definitely recommend and it’s well worth the price!

This was the highlight of our trip! Loved this little adventure park. We did ATVs first with Oliver. He had a good sense of humor, offered to take videos, helped search for creatures along the way. Great route, shoes were definitely soaked (but they warned us) and loved the waterfall (had the weather been a little warmer I would have worn a suit and gotten in). Lunch was great (and included)! Good portions, tasted good, and there was a cash bar (if you needed a little liquid courage before) ZIPLINING!! We’ve been before but there’s nothing like zip lining through the jungle! Ten lines, including the “big daddy”, beautiful views, fast, and fun. Knowledgeable, fun (and let’s be honest, safety-conscious) staff (shout out to Mary, Gian Carlos were the favs! And they take pictures which you can buy for $65 usd. Great communication in advance and easy to plan for (extra clothes, old shoes, etc). Appreciated the transportation but in fair warning, if you are coming from San Jose it was almost a 3 hour drive home with traffic. Wouldn’t change my decision but just be prepared.

Tour guides Chris and Christopher were excellent. Atv was amazing and fun. Guided us thru the trails I went off the trail and he came and helped. Horseback riding was fun . Very knoysbiut nature and the birds. Great fun and helped us how to move forward going uphill and leaning back downhill. Great tour. Horses were well trained and easy to work with . No problems, they helped us on and off the horses

Easily the best ATV tour I’ve ever taken. Group of 7 guys and everyone of them agrees! We’ll be back every time we come back to CR! You have to have Juan as your guide though! Shout out Juan!

The whole staff was so attentive and patient with me as I was scared to do the activities. I did the ATV and Ziplining tour. I had so much fun. The lunch in-between activities is so necessary and appreciative. Stopping at the watefall where you can swim for like 20 mins was nice. We took pictures, and the professional pictures came out so nice. It's worth every penny.

Great experience. Worth the money. The food was good. The workers were really nice. Anthony and Jason were great. The zip lining was fun, ATV was fun, we were taken to a waterfall which we swam in. It was wonderful. I highly recommend.

My experience was amazing! 10/10 we did the ATV and horseback package with hotel pickup & lunch. Our tour driver spoke English and Spanish, he was very informative telling us a little history as we go, we made stop to see crocodiles and get snacks. Once we got the adventure park our activities include lunch in between at one of the restaurants on site. Tip; if you’re doing ATV the insurance $25 per ATV or you can opt out and they will place a $1000 hold on your credit card that you get back at the end. I say Get the insurance and save yourself the trouble if something does happen

The trip was wonderful. Easy pickup, quick bathroom/breakfast stop on route. Simple registration on location for your activity (make sure to message ahead to pick your two activities for the day. The ATV was exciting without being dangerous. The zip line is a must! Very secure and the staff put our group at ease. Lunch was delicious, buffet style where you select your items as they serve you (between the two activities of the day). The ride home could be long depending on traffic. Make sure to expect to be gone all day.

Need Viator to explain ahead of time with more clarity (than buried in the litany of disclaimer information to read) that the Adventure Park company holds $1,000.00 on your credit card for insurance when you ride their ATVs or it costs $25.00 extra per person for the insurance. The experience is still awesome and we would do it again. However, when you arrive at the Adventure Park it starts off disturbing and disheartening to find out this information that is buried in the Viator agreement. We weren't the only ones surprised and frustrated by the $1,000.00 credit card hold. Knowing the information ahead of time will allow a perfect experience with no surprises. We did the $25.00 insurance coverage and still rode the ATVs which was the highlight of the day!

My brother and I chose the ATV and surfing lessons. The surfing lessons were so much fun. Our surfing teacher was a blast and made the experience lots of fun. However, our ATV experience was just ok. I was under the impression that there were going to be multiple stops along the ATV route, but we only stopped at one waterfall and swam there for about 20 minutes and then rode around on some paths back to the park. It was very underwhelming, and I would rather have paid to do something else if I would have known it would pretty much be a waste of time. Also, they didn’t put on my wristband that we got lunch included, even though that’s what I paid for, so after the ATV tour I had to go through a big ordeal to ensure that we got our lunch. I would recommend if you like to waste a lot of your time and not get what you paid for. But, our driver, yasin (I think that was his name), was the best guy ever. Super friendly and I wish him the best. We would move him home with us and make him our personal driver if we could! Godspeed sir!

Absolutely love it! Our whole family did zip line together, so much fun! I was very nervous at the beginning, but it’s very safe. Then I did chocolate Experience, I got hangs on experience. the rest of my family did horseback riding, they loved it, but they didn’t get chance to swimming in the nature pool. I would recommend it.

I got Chocolate Tour ,it was a great experience m. I unfortunately forgot his name but Venezualian Instructor for the Chocalate tour was great. I learned many things about history of Coco ! And second was Surfing for me. It was so good. My instructor Victor was an master of waves , we had so much fun during the class. I was like in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with huge waves and I will never forget that moment.
