Jose was our guide for the 3 day tour. He eagerly shared his love and knowledge of Costa Rica history and geography. He was on time for picking us up at the hotels, very patient in trafic and drove safely.

Wonderful experience, professional and experimented driver/guide The operator delivered what was promised and we are very satisfied withthe whole experience. A special reward to be given to our guide Jose who was so helpful If we have to visit Costa Rica in the future, we will surely choose the same operator
Our guide Johann was very informative and entertaining in his discussions. We were picked up from our hotel in San Jose on the first morning and driven to Arenal volcano by Oscar (our driver) and Johann. We walked a short distance from the parking lot to the viewing point to view the volcano from a distance. In the afternoon after a sumptuous lunch, we were driven to La Fortuna waterfalls. To get an amazing close-up view of the waterfalls, one has to walk down 530 steps to the bottom and then come back up taking the same 530 steps. It may be an arduous task for some travelers. After checking in a hotel that evening, we visited Baldi Hot Springs, where we spent some time enjoying the warm water of the Springs. Next morning, we were driven to Monte Verde rain forest, with an amazing array of eight hanging bridges. The view of the green canopy of the forest from the bridges is amazing. On the final day, we visited Manuel Antonio National Park, where we walked through dense forests on both sides of the trail. We got to see two snakes, different kinds of birds, howler and cappuccino moneys and sloths in the forest with the help of our forest guide, Kevin. Without his help it would have been impossible for us to locate these animals among the thick canopy of the forest. Next, we spent one hours on the gorgeous beach of the National Park. The hotel that we stayed on the first night at La Fortuna was excellent. On the second night we stayed at a hotel in Jaco, about an hour from Manuel Antonio National Park. The room in this hotel was okay for one night of stay. This hotel did not serve any morning breakfast. The amount of time spent on the road is long on each day is long, although it is time well spent to visit these wonderful places. On the overall, I will not hesitate to recommend this tour conducted by AyE Tours with Johann and Oscar.
Thank you for a great tour of Costa Rica! We saw so many animals, plants and 2 national parks. The guide Luis had the Pura Vida spirit and was a great driver too! . I don't think you could do as much and still not feel rushed on your own. We had good accommodations and great food. GREAT JOB AYE.
I couldn't recommend this tour company enough! We had a wonderful time, the drivers and tour leaders were professional, informative, and always helpful. We felt safe the entire time, we were shown the beauty and diversity of Costa Rica. Juan Jose and Luis were absolute gems!
Fantastic tour of incredibly beautiful locations in Costa Rica. Highly recommended! Our tour guide Louis, was a knowledgeable and very helpful with our experience. We will definitely be back.
We would highly recommend booking this tour with another company. Our main objective of booking this tour and paying the full price was visiting Manuel Anronio park and also visiting the warerfalls. These vistits did not take place due to the bad organisation of the company that informed us a night before that we could just stay at the beach for the next day since they did not have the Manuel Antonio Park tickets. The representative of the company thar explained these changes was just very rude and impolite. We also did not receive any reimbursement by the company for this lost day (Manuel Antonio was one of the main reasons for our whole trip to Costa Rica) . We are still very disappointed and feel scammed by this company.
This 3-day tour was amazing and we had a very memorable time. We got to see a lot in a short amount of time. Our tour guide Luis and driver Yohan were very friendly. Luis was a very knowledgeable tour guide and very patient with our many questions. The first day we did a light hike at Arenal National Park to see the volcano and then did the hot springs after. We (luckily) were able to see a sloth on the side of the road, pretty up close. Luis and Yohan were very flexible with us. The second day we hiked in Monteverde National Park and walked the hanging bridges. We got to see two quetzals (!!) and other animals. The third day we went to Manuel Antonio Park and saw birds, sloths and iguanas. We had time to relax and swim in the Pacific Ocean. The hotels were really nice and the food was great. It was a small group the entire time which made it feel very personalized.
Excellent trip. Landed in Sanjose. We were welcomed by our tour guide Louis. We drove to Mount Arenal. We visited Baldi Hot springs that evening, next day drive to Rio Celeste, hiked to the gorgeous waterfalls followed by sloth tour and lunch at local restaurant Dona Carmen and indulged on mangos, pineapple and agua coco. Day 3 we drove to Monteverde cloud forest, hike in the rain forest, walked the long hanging bridges, followed by Zip lining through the clouds along with Tarzan swing, ate lunch at amazing Italian place- pizzas, pastas and fresh juices. Drive to playa hermosa beach resort- A black sand pacific beach. Day 4-drove to Manuela Antonio - tropical humid forest walk leading to a beautiful white sand beach. Gelatos to calm down the heat followed by vegan lunch including pad Thai and oriental rice with vegetables and amazing fruit drinks. Stayed close to SanJose Airport to catch a mid morning flight next day. Overall I gave 4 stars and not 5 because of long drives from one place to another. May have been better to do Arenal and Monteverde alone to avoid long drives. Otherwise the country is full of endless beautiful scenery Tour guide was constantly engaging us with information, stopped when we spotted animals or birds, driver extremely capable. I must add with all the travel we missed 2 things sunset at the playa hermosa beach and arenal volcano walk as we couldn't arrive on time although it was part of the plan.
Beautiful nature. We saw a lot of wildlife and fabulous landscapes. Tour guide Luis was great and also the driver Diego.
Well organized 3-day tour to see major spots in Costa Rica. Useful comments and explanations from the driver-guide. Comfortable and safe driving.
This tour was amazing. We only had a limited time in Costa Rica and this allowed us to see as much of the country as possible. We went to Arenal National park to see the volcano, a sloth tour (not included) and a visit to the hot springs! The next day we drove to Monteverde national park where we walked the hanging bridges and also had the option to do the tree top zip line. This was not included in the price of the tour but was amazing and highly recommend! We then watched the sunset over the Pacific before travelling to the coast. The next morning we drove to Manuel Antonio park where we saw lots more animals, sloths, macaws, monkeys etc! And had time to relax and swim in the beautiful ocean. Both the hotels we stayed in were very nice, and in perfect locations. And all the food we had (breakfast and lunch on all 3 days) was great. Our tour guide, Luis, was so friendly and knowledgable, making the trip even better! It was a small group of 5, making it a more personalized experience with a relatively flexible schedule. Be prepared for some long drives, but if you want to see lots in a short amount of time it is necessary but so worth it!
We booked this tour, and this was a fantastic way to explore a few of the many picturesque places that this beautiful country has to offer. Our tour guide Luis and driver Caesar provided personal attention and provided excellent service through our trip through a few of this beautiful country’s picturesque sites including Arenal and Monteverde. Moreover, both worked to make sure that we got to each destination safely and provided insights on each location visited. The tour operator also had the advantage of providing us with breakfast and lunch for all three days of our journey. In addition, this also included one dinner. Each restaurant provided delicious food with traditional Costa Rican as well as continental options. Furthermore, the tour also provided lodging for two nights that was comfortable to relax and rejuvenate before the next day’s activities. In summary, I recommend booking Aye tours for your journey to Costa Rica. Lastly, please request Luis and Caesar as your tour guide and driver. They will truly provide a truly memorable journey for all people traveling.
My coworker and I were visiting Costa Rica for business, and wanted to spend a few extra days exploring the country. Our local team members here all said that Arenal-Monteverde-Manuel Antonio would be an amazing quick tour, and they were spot on! This was a wonderful tour of a beautiful country. It was a lot of time in the van, but allowed us to see so much of Costa Rica in a short amount of time. Our guide Luis was very friendly and answered all of our questions. He handled all of the coordination (including booking tours, checking in and out of hotels, making sure we were eating at restaurants that we wanted), and recommended the types of activities we could/should do at each location, based on our personal interests. The hotels were nice, conveniently located, and clean. The national parks were beautiful, and the add-on activities were great fun (we opted for ATV'ing at Arenal and doing the Zipline at Monteverde - highly recommend!!). Our driver Umberto didn't speak much English but was very friendly and got us safely where we needed to be, navigating some bumpy roads and the crowded Costa Rican traffic. Both Luis and Umberto were always on time and our comfort was their top priority. They even went out of their way to pull over to the side of the road so we could watch the sunset over the ocean. If you only have a few days to spend exploring Costa Rica and want to get a taste of what the country has to offer, this tour is an excellent choice!
Our driver (Johanne) was awesome, very helpful, always knowledgeable, hard worker. However, we didn't get to go to Manuel Antonio because the business office of the tour company wasn't able to get entry tickets.
This is a fantastic way to see some popular places in Costa Rica! Our tour guide Leslie was very friendly, informative, and helpful and Louis, our driver, was super knowledgeable and we always felt comfortable in his vehicle. Would definitely recommend!
After feeling a bit apprehensive after booking the tour I had no need to worry whatsoever. The 3 day trip was the best experience we have ever had and this was down to Juan our driver and Carlos our guide. They both made sure we had the best time we could possibly have. They showed us things off the beaten track that we would never have known about and introduced us to Costa Rican food and different fruit juices to try. They tailored the tour to our interests and arranged for us to go to a sloth sanctury in Monteverde which was the best day of our holiday. We were inches away from many sloths. It was truly amazing. Juan is the safest and most skillful driver we have ever come across and Carlos was so knowledgeable. We also had lots of fun in Carlos and Juan trying to teach me Spanish to which they were very patient with me! I cannot recommend this company enough. We met Juan and Carlos as tour guides but left as very good close friends. Don’t hesitate to book through this company as you will have a fabulous time.
Our 3 day Costa Rica Viator Tour trip was outstanding. My wife and I have been on many travel tours around the world, and would rate this one as one of the best. Our travel guide, Jensie, had excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. She was very knowledgable, friendly, and adaptable to our needs. For example, in Monteverdi, she recommended we try Zip-Lining which we had never tried before. We decided to give it a go and thoroughly enjoyed it. Another example is she asked if we would be interested in a Chocolate/Coffee Tour. It wasn’t on our itinerary, but thought it would be informative and fun and it was. In addition, we had an excellent driver, Carlos, who not only navigated some challenging roads, but always picked us up at the agreed upon time without any waiting. This tour of the “Volcano, Cloud Forest, and Beach”, really gave us an opportunity to see Costa Rica. We found it reasonably priced and very good value for the money. We would recommend it to anyone.
It was a wonderful 3-day tour with Yojhan as our guide. He made every day very special. Whether it was observing the Arenal volcano, walking in the parks and over the cloud bridges, he pinpointed specific flora or animals and made it possible for us to enjoy every moment of our tour. He was kind, thoughtful, patient, flexible and knew a lot about his country. The places we stopped for food were very nice and the food delicious. All and all it was a fantastic experience. We recommend A&E and especially Yojhan as a guide.
Great tour of a beautiful country with diverse landscapes. The tour was well planned and matched the brochure description. The pace was comfortable for us but be aware there was a lot of driving and oftentimes roads were very curvy and in poor condition. Our tour guide, Yancy, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable in many topics about Costa Rica - plants, animals, history, culture, and more. She and our driver, Carlos, could spot animals along the road and on trails, and always gave us time to take pictures. They were very polite and communicative, always opening doors for us and carrying our luggage. They extended many personal touches like offering hotspot and taking pictures and videos. They played Costa Rican music for us and we got to know each other more personally. Before long we felt like we were family. They were our best cheerleaders while were zip lining and always encouraged us. Yancy even had a friend announce our visit on the radio!! Overall, a wonderful experience for us first time visitors. 😊
This was one of the best ways to see Costa Rica. Our guide went above and beyond and catered to all our needs!!
This tour is a quick and easy package to explore everything in a short amount of time in Costa Rica! You get the best of nature, relaxation and sightseeing! The tour guides are friendly and really make it the best experience even during the car rides between the locations. The hotels that are chosen for this tour are great for families as well with a lot of activities on site to keep you busy. One of the best tours I have been on and a great option for first time visitors whether solo, with friends or family to Costa Rica.
This was the best tour to see Costa Rica with the best guides! Everyday made me smile as we got to learn a lot about the country, community, and what Costs Rica has to offer. Each region we went to had something very special to offer and our guides made us feel safe and comfortable wherever we went. The transportation provided was very comfortable and they offered WiFi on board as well! All of the hotels we stayed at were very clean and provided a lot of amenities that we took advantage of. You will see lots of local animals, eat amazing local food, and the tour guides are great with their communication and taught us about local customs and how they protect the different areas. We really got to immerse ourselves in a culture that was not our own and the guides could speak both English and Spanish and we practiced speaking often with each other through the whole tour, I even got to learn local Costa Rican Spanish words as well! Thank you Yancy and Juan Jose for your amazing hospitality and for sharing your knowledge about the amazing Costa Rican country! Will definitely book again to tour the other areas of Costa Rica!
The tour was amazing! Yohan did an awesome job showing us his beautiful country! My highlights were the Manuel Antonio Park and getting to see sloths and monkeys as well as the Tortugero trip with Ray who showed us huge spiders, poisonous frogs, and all kinds of village history! I would highly recommend this to anyone!
Very professional and friendly staff. My only regret is we should have spent the night in Tortuguero island.
I loved the walk. Three incredible days. Our guide Johan was very kind and kind. Indicate without shadow of doubt.
Terrible, 3 months have passed and they have not issued my refund.
The tour was excellent! We did a 3 day private tour with Luis and had too much fun. The Guide was very informative, Pro and very fun. The meals and hotels included were all excellent. The activities and places visited were dreamy. There are no words to describe how much fun we had. Highly recommended! Thanks again. We hope to be back soon.
The landscape, the food, all of Costa Rica is beautiful, but being accompanied by the guides Johan and Luis from AyE Tours Travel were the icing on the cake. Super friendly, they walked us around and explained everything. Every moment was a non-stop enjoyment. I totally recommend it
It is a highly recommended plan for a short stay in Costa Rica, good balance between quality and price, meals, hotels, vehicles, security and most importantly the human quality, especially of our two guides Johan and Luis. The itinerary and the services included were those agreed upon from the beginning, on the tours you have enough time to eat your meals, to capture your photographs, spot animals and enjoy all the nature offered by the places visited. The food included is delicious and offers a varied and sufficient menu. In the case of dinners that are not included, you have several options at the hotel or in nearby restaurants. Overall we had a very good experience and we recommend it. Ana and Wilmar
Excellent tour and excellent Luis the guide, always accompanying and worrying so that everything goes perfect. Highly recommended tour and guide
Above all, Luis is a guide like no other. He got to know our entire group and changed the experience to make it for us. The Tour was very fast but it is not the fault of the company or Luis. The country is big and there is a lot to see and learn. I recommend that you take the tour for more days if you can because you will want more time. At least they take the three-day tour and enjoy every second of it. Excuse my Spanish, Spanish is my second language.
- The selection of breakfast and lunch places were always delicious and with good quality standards, the places were clean and they served us the food in a good portion and with good flavor, it does not include alcoholic drinks but we paid the difference without problem. - The places we visited were incredible and the attention of the driver and guide were always present, in my opinion we visited many places very quickly; At some moments I felt that it could not be enjoyed because there were so many places in the plan and they were far away in distance, we could not complete the "extra" places or pit stops due to the distance and the time we were on the road, a general problem in Costa Rica NOT from the agency. - This time we went to celebrate my birthday and everyone on the tour sang me the mañanitas and we blew out the candles on a mini cake, I really appreciate that detail 100% - The accommodations were very good, a very important concern for me, they were always clean, with AC and hot water and the attention of the hotels was very good. I would recommend this tour 100% with the option of going for more days, with more time to enjoy all of Costa Rica 100%
I was with my family in Costa Rica .. and I highly recommend A&E tours, took us with all care and comfort to all the tours that were great and top. Super careful, polite and helpful. I highly recommend!!
This three-day tour from San Jose contains three of Costa Rica’s best natural attractions. In it you will see Tortuguero Park (with an excellent canoe adventure), Arenal Volcano (with beautiful panoramic views) and Manuel Antonio Park (the best, with an excellent paradise beach and where you can see a lot of animals naturally). The tour worked well and delivered as promised, with good drivers and guides, mid-range hotels and good food. Recommended.
