Hotel Grano De Oro

For our 25th wedding anniversary trip we decided to go back to Costa Rica our first stop was this amazing Hotel who went above and beyond and making us feel welcome and celebrating our anniversary. The staff were friendly and left us a fruit platter with a note about our anniversary and congratulating us. We also had dinner at the restaurant which also made us feel special by giving us a dessert with happy anniversary written in chocolate but in Spanish. There's also an amazing cafe around the corner of called Cafe Momo. A good staff is amazing hotel is amazing grounds are amazing. There's also a thoughtful details put into this hotel like plugins about the nightstands and there's a hair dryer there's body wash shampoo and conditioner a mini bar with complimentary snacks robes safe coffee maker with Cafe Brett that makes really good espresso. Very very nice start to our trip.

I would highly recommend this hotel - it exceeded our expectations!! We can’t say enough good things about it. Everything was wonderful. The staff were amazing!! They went above and beyond during our entire stay! They were friendly and accommodating of multiple requests we had! The food was delicious! We will stay here again if we return to SJO!

The customer service here is top notch. They go above and beyond to make sure your trip is pleasant. The hotel is beautiful and the food is amazing. We felt completely safe inside and outside walking around the area.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel on the final night of our two-week trip to Costa Rica, and it was the perfect way to end our holiday. We were warmly welcomed by Katherine, and from the moment we arrived, the hotel’s charm, elegance, and fascinating history were evident. We were fortunate to stay in a Deluxe Patio Room with its own private garden (room 9). The room was beautifully decorated and furnished aLao exceptionally comfortable. The mattress and bedding felt like sleeping on a cloud. We were also touched to find a personalised note and fruit platter waiting for us to celebrate our anniversary. The rooftop area is a lovely place to relax, with a small gym and hot tub. A special mention must go to the restaurant. Dinner was outstanding—one of the best meals we’ve ever had—and breakfast in the courtyard the following morning was equally memorable. Our only disappointment was that we stayed for just one night. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special. We would give more stars if we could!
