Beverly was awesome. We had a great time. The complete silence and darkness we experienced for a brief period of time was incredible. The rate was very reasonable.

The 2 hour cave tubing tour was so fun but low stress (easy activity for kids). Lots of interesting information about the caves and ancient Mayan civilization. Felt nice and cool and a good break from the sun! Omar was an excellent guide, helpful, great with the kids and very knowledgeable! Ending the day with a swim in the beautiful crystal clear blue hole was amazing.
It was fun interesting and B and her partner guide were awesome 👌 They were professional and knowledgeable and took great care of us in the cave
Our guide, Vida, was excellent. He shared historical information about Mayan culture. He pointed out the geological features of the cave. He made it an excellent experience.
My guide was lovely, she was knowledgeable and always checking in with me. It was cool, but very short and you don't tube for very long.
This was our favorite tour in 10 days in Belize. Omar was an outstanding guide (professional, friendly, safety-conscious, knowledgeable) and the cave was awe-inspiring. Nothing against the cruise-ship groups, but this private tour was so much more quaint and enjoyable. And, it was reasonably priced. We would do it again in a heartbeat.
Neko was our guide and he was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. The cave and its history were truly an experience and one we won’t forget!
This was a really cool activity. Beautiful scenery and not a challenging hike through the jungle and in the cave. Our guide was excellent and gave the group a detailed history of St Hermans and the Mayans. You get a lot lot more than what you pay for and I highly recommend this tour. Wear your water shoes!
We walked 10 minutes to the start of the cave. It was a muddy trek. We climbed down multiple stairs, hiked a short distance inside the cave and then had a great float. Ours was a private tour with a local guide. He pulled the 4 of us upstream and then we rode the current back down.
Vida was an excellent guide. Very friendly and courteous. The cave tubing was wonderful. The water was pleasantly cool and floating through the cave was enchanting and relaxing. The blue hole was beautiful and filled with small fish that swam around you as you swam in the pool. It was great!
Our guide walked us on a short jungle trail to the mouth of the cave which was breathtaking to begin with. It definitely felt like we were entering another world as we descended the rough stone steps into the cave. Once in the cave we turned on our head lamps and walked along the stream for about 15 minutes getting our bearings and learning about what we were seeing. When we got about half way into the cave, we got in our tubes and the guide pulled us up stream all the way to the point where the water was bubbling out of the the rocks from an underground spring. On our way back, we floated free along the stream all the way back to the mouth of the cave—part of the way in total darkness when we all turned off our headlamps! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and well worth the price. After leaving the cave we were given tickets to enter the Inland Blue Hole, which was only 1 mile away, and we had a wonderful time in this little oasis. The water was a beautiful color, sheltered by jungle trees, and flowed into another cave that must have been quite deep as, when we clapped at the opening it created amazing echoes. Altogether, it was a truly wonderful experience.
My wife, 10 year old daughter and I wanted to try out cave tubing, we arrived half an hour early and Omar was already there all set up. There was noone else at it was the off season which was nice. Omar was very knowledgable about the flora, fauna and mayan history. I think my kid was a little nervous at first but Omar made it relaxed and made it all feel safe and comfortable. All in all a great experience.
fantastic tour! we were just the three of us with a very nice tour guide - vida - who had a lot interesting stories about the cave and plants in the surrounding.
The trip was so fun! Neko and his daughter were great guides and made the trip amazing. Really cool cave and so fun to float on the tube. I’d definitely go again!
We had a private tour with Vida for the entire cave tour- no other people! He was very attentive and informative. He even let us store our car keys with his items prior to the tour. He also pulled us through parts of the river so we could just relax and look at the interior of the caves. We both work in very fast paced and at time noisey environments and floating in the river in the peace, quiet and nature was a few hour spiritual retreat. Be aware that the Blue Hole is self guided. Both places you need to watch your step - but such is nature.
This was a great trip, our guide was very knowledgeable about the Mayans and shared stories that made the trip even more enjoyable. Floating through the caves was so peaceful and beautiful.
Booking with Inland Belize Tours was the smartest thing I did on this trip. We requested transport from Hopkins all the way to Tikal, Guatemala with excursion stops along the way. Omar and his colleague Walter were absolutely fantastic and made this cost effective, easy, fun, safe and relaxing. The border crossing into Guatemala and money exchange was of no issue at all with their assistance. We also stopped with Omar at a place for pupusas that were the best I’ve ever eaten and which we cannot stop thinking about. I was polite and ordered two but I should have doubled that at least. This company was communicative both ahead of time and during the travel, answering my myriad logistical questions and putting up with my terrible Spanish (Lo siento, Walter). I cannot thank them enough for a trip of a lifetime. If you need a tour or guide while in Belize you cannot book a better company than Belize Inland Tours with Omar and his team.
Our family had an unforgettable adventure with Belize Inland Tours, and we can’t recommend them enough! While staying in Hopkins, they took care of all our transportation to and from St. Herman’s Cave, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. Our guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also made the tour fun and engaging from start to finish. Floating through the cave in total darkness was truly one-of-a-kind — an exciting and otherworldly experience that our entire group loved! This tour is also perfect for anyone wanting an amazing excursion without intense hiking or swimming, making it accessible for all ages. If you’re visiting Belize, do yourself a favor and book with Belize Inland Tours — you won’t regret it!
We took our 5yr old son and we all had a great time. Omar was super friendly and knowledgeable on Belizean history. The tour is great for families.
Great experience at St. Herman’s cave! Beverly, our guide, was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and fun. Took time to answer all our questions as we hiked and tubed. Can’t wait to go back and hope to have her as a guide for a dry cave tour as well.
A really magical experience- especially because there was no one else in the cave aside from the 2 of us and our awesome guide- Vida. We went at 11.30am so maybe just between the morning and afternoon tours. A nice 10 minute walk through the forest to the caves. The water was crystal clear and the tubes very comfortable as Vida guided us through the cave and then we floated back out. Definitely leave time to drive the mile or so around the corner to the blue hole. Nice clear swimming hole with curious little fish.
We were lucky enough to get Omar, one of the owners, as our guide! He is extremely knowledgeable and gave a very thorough tour, confidently answering any questions we threw at him! The cave tubing tour is super fun! We took our two teenagers that are quite well traveled and have had a lot of adventures, and they both kept commenting on how amazing this experience was! I would highly recommend this company for your caving adventures!
Neko was our tour guide. He was fabulous… very knowledgeable, took time with us and we all had the best time. Very safe, worth every penny. Loved floating and swimming in the caverns. I highly recommend it and ask for Neko this company should be so happy to have someone like Neko represent them ✨
We were here during the Tropical storm Nadine, so alot of the water tours were on hold until the waters receded. We got got lucky on our last day in the area to get to take this tour. Ronny was a great tour guide, very helpful to my daughter with a bad knee on the stairs and trail inside the cave. The caves were awesome and highly recommend taking this tour. After the tour check out the Blue Hole just down the road.
We has an amazing time cave tubing! Our guide Omar was so the best!! He is really knowledgeable and was very accommodating when we were delayed due to missing the bus. It was absolutely beautiful and such a unique experience. We definitely recommend booking with inland tours it was the best thing we've done in Belize so far!
We booked the tour on the wrong day by accident and they were so accommodating to get it worked out for us to go when we had already driven there! Guide was exceptional and there in 10 mins to start the tour on his day off! Excellent customer service! Thank you!
This was a unique and relaxing trip! We had a great guide (Ronnie) and we learned a lot about the history of the cave as we enjoyed the cool underground river in the midst of the heat that was happening outside.
Our guide Beberli was wonderful, she was funny and knowledgeable and had a great personality! It was the perfect adventure for a family with small kids
Amazing trip! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He shared his knowledge about the local plants and wildlife, and we always felt very safe, even with the younger kiddos. A+++!!
Vida was a great guide who shared history of the Maya people and cave formations as we floated along. He made sure our every need was met. The best part was turning off our headlamps and floating in total serene darkness for a few minutes. If this is not your thing, you can just turn back on your headlamp. Price includes admission to the St Herman’s Blue Hole cenote a mile up the road for a dip after your tour. Remember to tip your guide!
Omar was an excellent guide, very informative. We really enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend!
