Anthony was an amazing guide. Good price value. The 3 wineries had excellent wines. Good amount of time to explore the town of Sonoma.

We had a blast with our tour guide Anthony! Even though we had a last minute change with our first winery, he made sure it all worked out and we had enough time to get to and enjoy all our destinations. I also loved that he took random pictures of the group as well as group shots and shared with everyone. Great Day!
Antony was a great tour guide and we really enjoyed each of the vineyards we visited. We learnt loads about wine with Seamus and BR Cohn was such a beautiful setting for a glass of wine (or a few). Would absolutely recommend this tour for any wine lovers. The particular vineyards we visited had a focus on red wine.
My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was great not to have to worry about the drive, choosing wineries, or planning for extra tasting fees on top of the tour itself, as we are not from the area. Anthony was so nice and told us all about the areas we traveled through to get to the 3 wineries, including insights only a local would know. He made a point to tell us what to expect at our four stops ahead of time and then again prior to each stop, and his easy-going personality kept things relaxed and personable. The small group was the perfect size to be able to interact and build comraderie throughout the day. I highly, highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in a wine tour. We had a wonderful time and now have a wonderful memory together. --Charlie's Angels
We had the best experience with Mark. Very knowledgeable, entertaining. The wineries we went to were very unique and very good. We would highly recommend!
Make sure you get Anthony (h is silent) as your guide. Undoubtedly the best tour guide we've had. Extremely engaging, funny, helpful and kind. The tour was awesome but Anthony took it to 11. Thanks Anthony!
Anthony is very fun and made it great a good time. Every one at the wineries were knowledgeable. Vineyards were nice.
This was not what I expected for a wine tasting tour. It was 10 times better. Our tour operator Anthony was terrific. He was funny and had a lot of interesting stories and fun facts as we traveled through the city on our way to and from Sonoma. He stopped for picture taking as we drive along and some secret stops that were very interesting. The 3 wineries we visited were very different from each other. One was small and looked like we were driving into someone’s backyard. The second was a winery with no vineyard and the third was a large beautiful vineyard. All 3 were amazing. Very different from each other but a wonderful collection to experience the wine country. All winemakers were friendly and so knowledgeable about their wines. I learned things that I never knew about wine and winemaking as well as different types of grapes. If you a looking for a tour of the typical wineries you see pictured in photos, this is not for you. But if you want to see winemaking and listen to smart interesting winemakers (not spokespeople) this is what you want. And all of the wine was very good.
We had Paul as our guide for the day. What a fantastic time. Very knowledgeable about the history of San Francisco and Sonoma as well as the surrounding area. We had a group of 10, stopped at 3 amazing wineries and got to hear from the actual wine makers at 2 of the locations. It was in the top 3 tours I have ever been on. Highly recommend if you're in San Francisco.
Mark was knowledgeable, funny, and kept us entertained the whole drive between the wineries! He had fantastic recommendations at our stops as well. The wineries that were picked out were thoughtful and all very different offering something for everyone at each stop.
A great tour of the Sonoma wine country. Easy booking and communication with our guide Marc, who was knowledgable about the history of the region, and winemaking. We visited three wineries, two small ones where we met and spoke to the winemakers directly, and one larger one. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. 12 people in the van was a perfect size of the party. We set off at 8am and came back at around 6pm, which allowed us plenty of time at each site. Would highly recommend! :)
My husband and I had a wonderful time on the wine tour. Our guide Paul ( from Scotland) was great. He was informative, entertaining and very helpful. The wineries we visited offered a nice variety of wines, productions and locations. Great day over all.
Great trip! My man Anthony was an amazing guide. We learned a lot about wine making. We look forward to the next experience with you guys.
Mark was great! What a fun and informative day. We bought a case of wine from two of the wineries and some other fun things at the last one.
Anthony was a fantastic guide and we had a great time!! He made the trip very entertaining. My only complaint was one of the wineries we visited really made you feel pressured into buying wine so we bought an expensive bottle even though we didn’t love it, but overall it was a very positive experience and I would definitely do it again!
We were a group of nine. We spent a day in San Francisco touring the city. Our tour ended with a trip to a small family owned Sonoma winery - Mayo Family Winery. Our tasting lasted about 90 minutes. There was a wonderful selection to choose from and all were excellent and the information provided about the wine making process was valuable for future use. This was a great way to end our day in San Francisco.
Our Wine Country tour was fabulous. Anthony, our tour guide was very informative and entertaining. He was very easy to interact with. The van was clean and very comfortable. We visited three distinctly different wineries. All were great in their own way. We very highly recommend Edge of the World Tours.
Anthony was the best tour guide. I travelled solo and he created an inclusive environment and had a blast. The wineries we went to were so great!
Fantastic day with our tour guide Anthony, Great wine tastings at each venue, lovely lunch in Sonoma Valley and a lovely ferry ride back to San Francisco. Highly recommend.
The wonderful quality of the wine may be missing. Just not the encouraging event we were hoping for. The first one was by far the best. The other two were seemingly an inconvenience to the winery. I wouldn’t do this tour again. It was good, but no where near outstanding.
We had THE BEST time. Anthony is an amazing tour guide. He is fun, entertaining, knowledgeable of wine AND San Francisco/ Sonoma county. This tour is so well prepared. We had a wine tasting in 3 vineyards, Homewood, Seamus and B.R. Cohn. All in the perfect order, allowing us to know so much about wine and the history of Sonoma and their wines. Every one in the three vineyards were super nice and made sure that we had an amazing time. Anthony knew so much about historic landmarks in Sausalito and in Sonoma. He is so patient, kind and super funny. Always making sure we had a good time. You definitely want him for your tours. We had an amazing time. Can't wait to book another tour with Edge of the world tours! to Muir woods maybe next time
This was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Anthony, was charming and delightfully funny. We were really glad to book this on a beautiful day to go wine tasting. Anthony was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. I learned a lot about wine and had a nice buzz going on throughout the experience. We went to 3 locations, Homewood Winery, Famous Seamus and B.R. Cohen. We got a couple of bottles of a delicious Merlot from Homewood Winery. Seamus had really great smelling candles aside from very cool decor and great wines. B.R. Cohen's wine tasting was on the outdoors tables, and we enjoyed some nice conversation within our group and I really like their Cabernet Sauvignon but was too tipsy to get another bottle of wine. Ah at this last location they had a raffle within our group to win a bottle of balsamic vinegar, and they asked me to pick the winner out and I ended up picking myself! Oh, we had lunch at a nearby town, Anthony was kind enough to point out some of the nice, popular places to eat. It was right after our first tasting, but do eat something before heading out into the trip if you are a light weight like me. Cheers!

We had a fantastic tour guide/driver Paul - he had an amazing knowledge of the area. So pleased we visited Sonoma county and Sonoma town for lunch - great contrast to San Francisco to make the most of our trip from England! Enjoyed every wine tasting - each very different and informative- bought a couple of bottles to drink whilst we’re in CA. We were so lucky to have two owners give us the experience and Nick st Cohen’s was a lot of fun, giving hints and tips on how to appreciate wine. My daughter aged 21 also loved this trip too - so great for all ages over 21 I think! We took the ferry home from Sausalito, which was fab as well.
Book this immediately and bring your favorite people. Anthony was an absolute standout from start to finish. His mix of deep local knowledge, effortless humor, and genuine hospitality made the entire day unforgettable. Every recommendation he offered was spot‑on, and he kept us laughing the whole way. We visited Peter Cellars, Seamus, and BR Cohn — three completely different vibes, each one amazing in its own way. Anthony guided us through each stop with ease, sharing stories, insights, and fun facts that made the experience feel personal and elevated. Picked up right at our hotel, driven comfortably to each winery, learned a ton, laughed even more. We truly cannot wait to come back and book Anthony again. He’s simply the best.
Great way to see the wine country. No worries about driving. Our driver was top notch and very knowledgeable.
Anthony was a funny and amazing tour guide. The vineyards were full of grapes, delicious wines and ambiance. The day did not feel rushed at all but still saw so much of Sonoma
Best tour ever ! Our guide Marc was beyond knowledgeable, entertaining, and truly made the experience fun!
Amazing experience. Our tour guide had a huge amount of knowledge about San Francisco and Napa/Sonoma and loved the smaller wineries we visited. The smaller group experience made it feel more intimate and loved getting to know the others in our group. I would absolutely recommend this tour.
August 10, 2026 my daughter and I took the Sonoma wine tour. Anthony was our guide and he was fantastic. He was personable, upbeat, knowledgeable and a delight to be with. The tour went to 3 wineries and each one was unique. The wine tastings were great and the 'teachers' of each were so knowledgeable. I learned alot. It is great value for the money. Anthony was so genuine and kind and catered to each one of us. A true professional.
Great experience: delicious, informative and fun! Guide Marc was knowledgeable, humorous and thoughtful. The schedule was well paced and relaxing while still moving along to cover so much in one day. Peter Cellars was a definite highlight!!! Do it!!!
Anthony was an excellent tour guide. He gave us anecdotes and fun facts about everything we drove by. Also encouraged a social and bonding vibe with our group without making things awkward. He was super knowledgeable about San Francisco, Sausalito, and Sonoma valley. The wineries were such unique choices with great variety and we enjoyed all three so much. Our tour was framed as a kind of past, present, and future of vineyards which was super cool. Tried some of the best wines I ever had, and learned a lot about the process of winemaking and lots about grapes! Anthony also made sure we ate at great restaurants and had really cool experiences when we stopped in downtown Sonoma, and always told us where bathrooms were so we didn’t waste our time searching around. The option to end in Sausalito was sooo fun, a nice dinner and ferry ride to end the day. This tour was full of laughs and great wine! 10/10 recommend.
It's a good experience for wine -naives and connoisseurs. The atmosphere is light, informative, and fun in general. Anthony is hillarious and a great driver/ tour guide/ photographer. The choice of wineries are spot on. I took my aunt who had wine tasting in Italy, could not stop talking about how much she enjoyed this one way better. She was so happy. I would highly recommend.
Excellent day with Anthony. The drive to the vineyards was entertaining with lots of interesting facts and related stories along the way. Visiting the small boutique wineries was very informative as we met the owners and had a chance for detailed questions as well as sampling a great range of wines with lots of background and explanation. Lunch in Sonama was a nice break and an opportunity to see one of the areas of historic interest. Overall highly recommended.
We were collected at the arranged pick up point at exactly 9am. Our guide Anthony was exceptionally knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humour! His relaxed manner kept us engaged and a pleasure to listen to. The wineries visited were lovely and unique in their own right. It was a marvellous day and we learnt so much about wine making. Thoroughly recommend this tour.
Fun trip with Anthony, saw a few sites leaving City and then Sonoma small boutique wineries, educational and good wine. Small group was just right.
Anthony was a super guide and funny. He helped us navigate the whole day with excitement and fun. Anthony provided high-level description of each winery and what to expect. And he shared his stories and kept us amused during the travel. We had 5 total in our group so plenty of space.
Our tour guide Anthony was fantastic. He was knowledgeably, professional, and funny. He had great stories and we visited three different style wineries with excellent wines.
Marc and his team are amazing! Super responsive and incredibly knowledgeable about the San Fran area and wine country. Marc was not only entertaining, but also very friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us. I would absolutely use his tour company for all future trips to San Fran. You should too!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and created a joyful experience for all, we look forward to doing this tour again
This was a wonderful wine tour focusing on smaller wineries. Marc our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny! I enjoyed being his co-pilot for the day!
Katya was very knowledge person , we had very good time
Fantastic day touring Sonoma and Napa wineries. Anthony full of knowledge and lots of fun. Wineries diverse and all great. Thanks for a great day.
Marc was a gracious host, who provided entertaining and educational sound bites throughout the entire journey. The itinerary was gracefully crafted and evident of local taste. Could not recommend a better host or experience for your Sonoma Valley Wine Tour.
Great driver/guide (Anthony) who was informative and entertaining. The 3 wineries were all very distinct from each other and the wines we sampled were all award winners.
Paul was such a knowledgeable and charming tour guide! His Scottish sense of humor had us all in stitches, laughing all day long. We visited three wineries as well as Golden Gate Bridge for some photos and Sonoma for lunch and Sausalito for some quick exploring. The first winery, Peter Cellars, was the best. It was small and we got to actually talk with the owner and wine maker Peter, who told us about his story and he poured us 5 of his wines. One of the Pinot Noirs and the Merlot were absolutely fantastic! I'm not a wine aficionado but I could tell these were something truly special. The only thing I would have wanted more of would be some kind of guide to tasting or more of a background on wines since I'm a novice, but I got to get a sense of the different offerings by tasting quite a few and trying to figure out which ones I liked best.
This is such a great trip! It was definitely one of our highlights while visiting San Francisco. We loved the wine tasting and the stops as part of the trip are great! Highly recommend! Our guide Katya was fantastic too.
Enjoyed the tour and met a few new friends in the process. Our tour guide was Marc and he was fantastic. Very outgoing and knowledgeable and gave us interesting information along the way. If you are in town for a short stay, this tour also checked the box by riding on the Golden Gate Bridge and pulling over for some pictures. This tour didn’t make us feel like we were on a timer and was very relaxed. Recommend and can’t go wrong with this tour.
Great and personalized tour. We had a private tour and the driver and guide gave a lot of useful information.
Mark was an awesome tour guide and was extremely welcoming and full of knowledge. He was funny and very pleasant, and we both enjoyed being with him all day. Mark made our one day in Sonoma wonderful and memorable- we will be back!!
