San Francisco Love Tour

Excellent tour with Kai. Really fun way to see the city and learn all the culture. The bus is super cute.....well worth the money!

It’s a great experience and great way to see SF and many important places and landmarks with a fantastically entertaining and enjoyable tour guide who drives you around the town too; in a 1977 VW-Bus 😎

We only had a half day in San Francisco at the beginning of a longer trip. We wanted to see as much as possible without the challenge of driving/navigating on our own. This was the perfect solution and we got lucky to have the VW and the guide to ourselves! Cyrus was fantastic and being a lifelong resident with a tiny audience he was able to really “show us the town”!

I was able to check out some things that I wouldn’t have been able to see on my own. I would recommend.

Last year we took a trip to San Francisco for my wife's birthday and took what we call the hippie bus tour. We loved the trip so much we returned again this year and since we also loved it so much we also once again took the hippie bus tour. When the bus pulled up we were excited to see that our tour guide was once again Cyrus. We recognized him immediately and he recognized us as well. As the description says you are taken all over San Francisco and get to see all the sights and neighborhoods. Cyrus is funny and engaging with all his guests and his knowledge and passion for his city comes through. Can't recommend this trip enough.

Tara was an amazing guide and gave us a local perspective of the history of San Francisco and its culture. Such a fun experience which I highly recommend to first timers to the Bay Area!

Go early in the time you’re visiting SF. We learned so many places we wanted to see from the guide, Tara.

My husband and I had a wonderful time and our tour guide dave was funny and did a great job. My husband has a portable scooter that they were able to accommodate in the back of the van. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to find the hidden gems of San Francisco.

A must do in San Fran! The driver (Can’t remember his name sorry) was amazing. Repay knowledgeable and lots of fun!

Ive never been to San Francisco so had no idea where to go, this tour was informative with and excellent, knowledgeable and passionate guide.

Absolutely brilliant tour in a cool old VW bus. Our tour guide, Ky is definitely the key to why it was so good! So informative, interesting, friendly and Ky was happy to answer any questions too. Saw lots that we would otherwise have missed. Ideally, go at the beginning of your trip then if you want to explore somewhere further you can plan that in. Not the cheapest but well worth the money. The trip went over 2.5 hours and a quick restroom stop in the middle!

My family including my husband, daughter and 88 year old mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour tour of the San Francisco area. The tour was in an intimate retro VW van. Our tour guide Cyrus was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the San Francisco history and neighborhoods. We highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

What a fun tour. It had a well planned out route, and we saw so much of the city. Our guide was informative and entertaining throughout. The 60's theme was especially interesting and fun. Our only complaint was that we missed our first scheduled tour by literally 5 minutes. The van was pulling away as we drove up looking for parking. We tried calling both the tour company and Viator to say we were there but couldn't get ahold of anyone. Wished we would have received a call to check on our status. When we were finally able to reach Viator were were told if we wanted to join a later tour we'd need to pay again. We ended up for the tour the following morning and paying again. A bummer, but still a really fun tour.

If I could give Cyrus a million stars for this amazing tour, I would! We were considering a conventional bus tour until we saw one of the vans out and about , and knew we just had to do this. We absolutely made the right call. A fabulous two hours, and we saw so much. Cyrus was so knowledgeable, interesting and very amusing and we enjoyed every second of the extraordinary tour. It was interesting , unusual and the best thing we did whilst we were visiting the city. This is a unique and amazing tour don’t miss out, I highly recommend it.

Great experience. The vans need a speaker system so passengers can hear in the back. Otherwise, it was a phenomenal tour. The driver was great and funny. Quite enjoyable.

Get ready to have your picture taken while riding the Little VW Love Bus on the Love Tour. You’ll see lots of peace signs flashed your way too. Loved seeing the sights around San Francisco and tour guide was great. Highly recommend!

Great fun and unique tour! The love Cyrus has for his city is evident. He is so knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts and stories about the Bay Area. This tour was a great way to see the entire city in a short amount of time. Highly recommend!

Our guide was sooooooooo much fun!!! He was also a good photographer, knowing just the right shots to make memories for us to cherish.

A fun and easy way to get a fabulous overview of San Francisco. The van is very comfortable and safe. Our tour guide Cyrus was funny and knowledgeable. He took great pictures for all of us. The group is small enough so you don’t feel overwhelmed, but it was really nice to be with other people since I was traveling by myself. I had a wonderful experience!

This tour was a lot of fun, singing to the old songs was great. It's a shame we didn't get out at the painted ladies or the crooked street as where we were staying wasn't nearby so we didn't experience the area as much as if we had time out of the van.

Cyrus was our guide for this tour & was absolutely the best guide anyone could ask for! Cyrus was born & raised in San Francisco so his knowledge was wonderful! The VW Micro Bus was a flash back to the 60’s! Highly recommend this tour!

It was such a blast! We sang most of the songs. Laughed a LOT! It was very informative! I didn't want it to end. Tara, our driver was great and made sure we had a great time! Wonderful personality and great energy! We are from the midwest so this was our first visit to San Francisco.

LOVED this tour! Tara, our guide, was WONDERFUL in every way possible - ensuring we saw many sites - learned so much about SFO - and her humor kept us laughing throughout the entire tour! She had a great sixties type playlist that was perfect for our very colorful “hippie themed” VW BUS! Tara, has an amazing voice too as she sang a bit of those good ole nostalgic songs! Tara’s small and exceptionally sweet dog, Rosie, accompanied us on our tour - she’s extremely well behaved and has her own little bed - she enhanced our trip too! What a FUN and memorable way to explore SFO - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you for a very fun and informative tour!!

Marvelous, fun tour. Tara was a wonderful guide. Entertaining and informative. Great music and great sights. Riding down crooked Lombard St singing, with our radio blaring, and giving peace sign to all the folks photographing us is a memory to keep. I highly recommend this tour.

I’ve been on several San Francisco city tours and know the difference-maker is the guide. Dave was amazing. He encouraged us to ask questions instead of sticking to a script which we all thoroughly appreciated. He was personable and professional but also had a great sense of humor and immediately we felt like family. We also went to different areas than I’d gone to on other tours, including the Presidio. Would definitely recommend this tour…especially if Dave is your guide!

Kai was amazing and so knowledgeable. Seeing all the sights in a few hours was fantastic. Taking a small group tour was perfect. Saw places and heard stories we wouldn't have got on our own.
