Over and beyond care and thoughtfulness by both driver and guide. Michelle the guide and Judith our driver are two exceptional individuals who raised the bar in guest experience. A couple who misunderstood the departure time in Golden Gate. Waited 10 minutes Michelle called their corporate office and was reluctant to leave them behind. We were a small group of 23. At the next stop which was 10-12 mi utes drive we were dropped. What supreme mist was the thoughtfulness of these two ladies who volunteered to drive back to Golden Gate and look for the missing couple as under no circumstances they wanted to leave them stranded. Both Michelle and Judith drove back, found the couple and rejoined the group after half hour. This speaks volumes of customer care! Forever appreciative of these two women. The entire group including my wife. Nd I applauded the two and also welcomed the missing couple who were more than apologetic. This is what makes the experience special!

Judiche is sn excellent driver and guide
Very nice tour, very calm, nice big comfortable bus, unlike other tours i took on this vacation. Don was very knowledgeable, and made things clear of what was expected. Beautiful close-up look at the Golden Gate bridge. Twin Peaks was a very nice view and you can chose two different drop-off's
It was a fantastic Tour. Tourguide Michele did a great Job with a lot of interesting informations and always in a good mood. Judith was a great driver, who took us gently and save through the streets of San Francisco. I would highly recommend this tour to explore this fantastic City.
Great bus and Great Driver Judy! Perfect tour :)
The bus does not pick up at the address that is listed. We stood there 20 minutes before pick up time and the bus never indicated that it was down the street. We were Never told what type of bus would pick us up. The bus driver never tried to see if we were there even though they knew to expect us, since we paid way over $100 for the trip. This appears to be a money grab. We called the office and a very rude rep told us it was our fault.
The tour was curtailed and modified due to the Marathon. Cutting out a proper visit to Golden gate bridge and park and some other points was a big disappointment. If we were informed of this at the time of booking, we would have chosen a different date to get the full experience. We felt cheated because neither Viator or the tour operator informed us of the restrictions and changes at the time of booking. There was also a change in the pickup spot and we paid for the Uber to get to the new spot in time. Overall this was the worst Viator experience of our many Viator purchases over the years, at least 4 of which were SFO city tours. Giving 3 stars as the other points were still ok. This had experience was entirely preventable if Viator and the tour operator were diligent and better customer oriented.
An excellent day tour experience with Gray Line. The service was professional and very well organized from start to finish. The bus was extremely comfortable, and the guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive, and engaging throughout the entire excursion. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a high-quality experience. Thank you very much for such a memorable day.
We took this tour as S.F. natives and learned new things on this tour based on the tour guides interesting history its bits and enjoyed it immensely!
The tour is good but a bit disorganised. Meeting point there were 2 buses and we did not know which one was ours. San Francisco weather is very foggy and clouded in the mornings until midday, so many of the places we went we were not able to see a lot. I would have loved to see more of the beautiful houses and less of the hills outside. The guide was good but a bit repetitive. I would have started with a bit of history about San Francisco. The minibus was not the perfect one for sightseeing, as it was difficult to see many things the guide pointed out to.
Michele was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the city’s history. Tour is pretty much as advertised and we had sufficient time at each stop for pictures and bathroom breaks. Great value for the price and worthy of a fair tip at the end.
Learned a bunch and got great pictures. Got tips of other places in San Fran to visit. Our friends ages ranged from 60 to 82. Would highly recommended to all age groups
This was a great tour. Saw things I missed on the Red Bus Tour. Comfortable bus, most stops had bathrooms. Guide was very knowledgeable. Golden Gate Park and North Beach were very enjoyable as was the entire tour.
Good tour. Plenty of stops at popular places. Guides are knowledgeable about the area. Easy to meet up.
Debbie and Michele were amazing! I chose this trip for the architecture and was very well pleased! Both Debbie and Michelle our driver and guide were well humored and knew the city and the region very well.
My wife and I enjoyed the tour.
The bus was too big for the tour. Couldn’t see both sides of the street. Also due to the slight tint of the windows, the windows had a mirror affect which obscured the view. Given that, the orator was able to explain things so that I could envision them. The places that we got off the bus were great. Unfortunately it was one of the dreariest days that I have ever seen in San Francisco, so that made the sight seeing dismal. Not your fault.
4 good stops with a good amount of of time to see sights. An excellent driver , who was helpful to all passengers. Our guide was excellent and clear and concise, with plenty of of information about city sights.
It was a great overall view of San Francisco and area. The tour guide, Michelle, was excellent being very articulate and knowledgeable.
We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman that checked us in bus showed up on time and driver and guide were extremely friendly and knowledgeable
An excellent tour of all the sites and narrated throughout the City with well timed stops and a comfortable coach!
This is a very good tour to start off your trip. It gives a great overview of the City and you can decide what to go back to.
Great city views, knowledgeable operator and driver. Got us the best views as the fog swept in over the city. The park was wonderful and frequent restroom Stops were appreciated
There was fog today and a road race but it was an excellent adventure. Would highly recommend this tour if new to San Francisco.
Everything went well. Guide was very knowledgeable of San Francisco. Guide did well with some challenging Guests. Highly recommend the tour
Was a change from Grayline to Extranomical tours, which was crap. No proper time given on spots. Made to rush. Guide was not helpful in guiding us to the bay cruise.
We enjoyed this bus tour which was a good overall view of a larger part of the city. We wish we could have arranged this tour for earlier in our stay because it did give us ideas of where to come back to in order to stay longer. We covered a lot of area on the bus so the stops were short and a bit rushed. Our guide, Michele, was knowledgeable and made the trip a very nice tour.
The 4-hour sightseeing tour through San Francisco was great, both in terms of the organization and the information provided. At the meeting point on Post Street, 1/2 hour before departure, a member of staff was there with the list of names of the participants and he made sure that we all got on the right bus at the right boarding point. The tour guide Michelle and the driver Thomas were both totally nice and friendly, Michelle was a font of information, both on city history as well as anecdotes about people, neighborhoods and parks. During the stops, Thomas chatted with the participants where they were from and how they liked SF and the tour. As the tour came to its conclusion, we were given tips for restaurants, one of which (Sears Fine Food) we used straight away and were completely satisfied. A very positive experience all round, we recommend it at any time!!
Our guide Michelle was relaxed and full of information. She did an amazing job of keeping the group engaged and was a great communicator and guide.
It was great experience, guide was very informative, would love to have trip longer to cover other key landmarks in san fransisco
Outstanding views, some of the best ever seen, every site you'd want in San Fransisco is covered, and plenty of time to use restrooms and go exploring. Highly reccomend, even for the price.
The tour guides were great and the tour was awesome. It was inside a closed bus which was perfect for the cold wet weather of December. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. My only issue is it was so quick we only had a few short minutes to take pictures at the various locations. If you really want to explore and enjoy the sites I recommend a longer tour.
Easy way to see the city, it’s like a cliff notes version. Sadly you cannot get close to Lombard street or the painted ladies, but the tour guide is wonderful (Michelle) and Jack the driver was great.
It was an incredible plan. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. Definitely recommended and a must if you visit San Francisco. Thanks for everything.
We had a fantastic experience with Gray Line San Francisco! The tour was well-organized, covering all the city’s highlights, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Twin Peaks. Our guide, Michelle, was amazing—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of great stories about the city’s history. Everything ran smoothly, and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend Gray Line for exploring San Francisco!
Great tour, tour guide and driver! The sights we visited were breathtaking, each location revealing a unique story that captivated our group. Our guide's knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable, as they shared fascinating anecdotes along the way. The seamless coordination between the driver and guide ensured that we stayed on schedule while still having ample time to explore. By the end of the day, we felt enriched by the journey and grateful for the memories created together.
Just a nice relaxing view of the beautiful city of San Francisco. Both the quide and the driver were excellent and showed us special places of the city.
The Presidio, The Palace of the Arts, Golden Gate Park for sure, it's beautiful, The Golden Gate Bridge. Everything was great and informative. The tour allowed you see alot of places you may want to visit for a little while longer om your own time. Danillo and Michelle were an awesome tour guide team. I was only here for 3 days but with their information from the tour I was able to see and do alot on my own time. It's my first time visiting BUT I will definitely be back for a longer visit.
A great tour! Lots of information-both historic and current. Our tour guide (Michelle) and driver were very pleasant and kept us entertained. Saw lots that we would have trouble accessing on our own. Enjoyed it very much.
The guide did her best to explain. But I was a little disappointed because of non-fulfillment of the appointment course.
Having seen that Twin Peaks mountain and other places in San Francisco. The tour guide and the driver are very nice and an asset to Company.
Very comprehensive tour of SFC, all the key sights & some we did not expect. Coach was good quality, maybe driver could have slowed when a key landmark was mentioned by guide. Well worth the time to get a good overview of the city.
Great tour! Got to see the Golden Bridge and a nice city skyline view from Twin Peaks. Excellent way for first timers to see the city then venture out solo.
We enjoyed getting the history of the important places in San Francisco. We had been in SF once before but did not know the significance of some of the places we visited then. The narrator Michelle was very clear and the driver Thomas did an excellent job of maneuvering the bus through narrow streets.
I spent days researching tours and trying to work out best day and what to do in San Francisco over 3 days. There are so many different types of tours and some see the same places and some are so vastly different. I loved this tour as it gave a taste of so much! Most tours just stay inside the main city limits and don't go out to Lands End and Twin Peaks. Some also don't give you much time at Palace of Fine Arts Theatre. This tour did all of that and so much more. It's a great tour if you're short on time and want to get a great overview of many parts of San Francisco. We had Judith as our driver and Michelle as our tour guide. Michelle was a little direct and sarcastic sometimes, but I understand the need to keep everyone in check and on time. Judith was great at answering questions and taking photos for the single travellers in our group. They made a good pair for our tour and kept things lively while giving us an education and making sure we had fun and bathroom breaks. We saw lots of iconic buildings, spent some time at the Golden Gate Bridge and drove through the Presidio and Golden Gate National parks and through Mission District and downtown SF. Great overview and learned so much! I only wished I could have seen Lombard street up close but most tour companies are no longer able to take you to the foot of the hill. There are tours however where you can drive down it in an old-fashioned camper love van or a GoCar.
Had a day to visit Frisco. Went to Chinatown, Fishermans Wharf, the Palace of Fine Arts, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Also drove through Golden Gate Park and the Presidio. Great tour and our guide, Michelle, was extremely knowledgeable.
Excelent tours, good content, 4h excursion, nive views, good timming , Guide tour and bus driver. The bus was also very confortable.
This tour is good for first time visitors to San Francisco. You visit most of the tourist areas like the Golden Gate Bridge and are allowed some time to take pictures and visit gift shops. Our tour guide Michelle was knowledgeable and offered recommendations for what to do after the tour.
Excellent introduction to San Francisco! We did the Coach bus tour and Bay cruise. Our tour guide Michelle was knowledgeable and friendly.
Loved this experience! Great way to get an introduction to the various neighborhoods and highlights of San Francisco. Included the ferry ride at the end, which was very enjoyable. Our guide and driver, Michelle and Jack, were extremely professional and helpful. The information they shared added to the overall tour experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco for the first time.
