Our guide Ben was top notch! Professional, knowledgeable, accommodating and fun! He helped us check all the boxes. We saw everything we wanted and more! Great afternoon. A great experience.
The ride is unique and able to provide the inner city experience . Ben our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and gave extra attention to our needs.
Excellent tour! 3 kids and 3 adults - all equally enjoyed the tour and the guide. WE learned a lot about San Francisco, saw the most notable landmarks and famous streets. It was a blast, thank you so much!
Our Tour guy Ben was amazing. Lots of information and took lots of pictures of us all. He also sent me a list of other activities we could do in San Fran that was really helpful. Thank you Ben.
Anthony was great-Very informative and engaging. He took us to all the key spots and told us a little bit about everything all along the way. Thankfully, he knew all the bathroom stops along the way😎 We got a lot of attention and it was fun to wave to all the spectators. We got a little bit of rain and Anthony was nice enough to offer us ponchos, but we didn’t need them. The blankets were perfect to keep us warm. The location for pick up and drop off was perfect because we were able to grab a bite to eat after at one of the local restaurants and then walk for a few miles to see all the piers. Overall great experience and a very unique way to see the city.
Our tour guide was Brian, & he was fantastic. I added an extra hour onto the tour, and it was expensive but worth it. We saw Ft. Point, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Painted Ladies, the Palace of Fine Arts, Haight-Ashbury, Lands End, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, China Town, Little Italy, & the headquarters of Lucasfilm with the newly opened gift shop for Skywalker Ranch. Brian was friendly & engaging throughout the tour, answering questions & pointing out areas of interest. We could tell he enjoyed his job & the history of San Francisco. This tour was a highlight of our visit.
Incredible personal tour. Brian showed us all of San Francisco and all of the history and trivia to go along with it. A very fun time I highly recommend this tour!!! Thanks Brian we had a blast. 😆
Absolutely fantastic. Fun and informative for both myself and my 11 year old grandson. The owner Brian and guide Mira were considerate and welcoming. That tour more than anything else we have done this week on vacation made us want to come back to San Francisco. Would recommend to anyone.
Jojo was our tour driver and we had a wonderful experience. He is funny, the spots were amazing.Brian was also great early morning he contacted me to confirm the schedule, we were able to make it earlier .
Meera was our tour guide and she was amazing!! So friendly and knowledgeable about the history and city. She also took beautiful photos for us. Stress free and so much fun. A wonderful experience and we will definitely do it again in the future! Thank you for the tour and hospitality!!
Amazing tour with great tour guide Joe Joe. Great time and amazing sights. Highly recommend to anyone. Thanks again for the great time.
We was limited on time but wanted to see a lot this worked perfectly. They were on time and very accommodating.
Do yourself a favour and BOOK THIS TOUR. Super value for money. Only 4 of us on the tour (comfortable but can fit 6), and took nearly 3 hours. Andy was informative and hilarious. You couldn't ask for a better guide. The tuk tuk is modern and comfortable. Andy provided blankets and heated seating when it was cold. You'll see some of the top sites of SF as well as find some hidden gems. Please do yourself a favour and BOOK.
this was an excellant tour. Our driver was very knowledgeable and was a lot of fun. He was able to go where a bus couldn't. We got a good look at the various neighborhoods of san francisco as well as all the tourist highlights. I would highly recommend this tour.
I took my 3 kids (10, 12 & 16) on this tour this morning. It was so much fun!Andy was our excellent driver!! Andy had great energy and was funny. He even made the sullen 16 year old laugh! It was a great way to cover a lot of ground in a 2-hour period. We did it early in our trip so everybody saw something that interested them that we could go back to and spend more time later. We had the tuk tuk to ourselves so Andy was able to customize the tour a little bit. Make longer stops when we wanted it and saw a few extra things. I would recommend this and Andy to anyone. Seats are heated and there are blankets abound. It was super comfortable even on a cool morning.
It's a unique way to see San Francisco. We had fun! Our tour guide/driver was very energetic and fun.
We spent our first afternoon touring San Fran with Andy, who was an excellent tour guide! Highly recommend as a great introduction to the city. And the tuk tuk is a fun way to get around.
A great way to see SF, Bayley was fun and informative. Our 2 boys 9 & 11 really enjoyed this experience
I love the smaller tour - you can access places the large buses can't go. Bailey was a great guide and made it all the more enjoyable. I would recommend this tour for a small group of family/friends or even solo traveler. I wish I had time to go back for the beer crawl!
Fantastic tour with great visibility from the unique tuk tuk. Andy shared a lot of history and info about the sights that we’d never known otherwise. Not that we’d even be able to get to all the places on this tour! He knows the area well and kept us laughing too. Totally worth the price. We had 3 people on our tour and it was great. Definitely recommend.
Great and fun tour with in-depth information about the city. Bailey was our tour guide and he was awesome. Definitely worth it as there were great photo ops and good recommendations for shopping and restaurants. Highly recommended.
Laila did a FANTASTIC job showing us (family with three kids 8-15) around the city. Tuk-tuks are a great way to view all the lovely sights that the city has to offer and definitely a more personal, intimate experience than getting on a bus (we have done that too). A lot depends on the personality of the guide and Laila was a amazing. Very positive, always smiling and her enthusiasm and joie de vivre was infectious! Here’s to more of people like Laila. Highly recommended 👍👍
We booked this last minute on our last day in SF and I think it was the highlight of the trip. Bailey was a very friendly guide and filled us in on all the neighborhoods we passed through. You actually get to drive down Lombard Street which is fun. Loved the trips through the parks and the Presidio. You really get to see a lot in the 2.5 hours. It was a cool day in December but the seat heaters are raging and the blankets cozy!! I highly recommend if you limited time and want to see a bunch of the city. Would totally recommend.
Very enjoyable tour! Our tour guide was Bailey. He was great! Very nice & knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions. This tour was great because we could get close to what we were seeing, jump out easily, take pictures and be on our way. Highly recommended!
WARNING - Wouldn’t book again We were considering the hop on hop off but our hotel concierge recommended lucky tuk tuk as something different and fun with two kids. We booked the night before and were told to be at the pick up point at 11:50am and not to be late for our 12 o’clock tour. At 12 o’clock I called the office to find out where the tuk tuk was since I was worried I was in the wrong place. Christian working in the office said he would find out and was very surprised that they weren’t there yet and would call me back. At 12:15 I called again and was told that there was a delay and they would be there in about 20 minutes. At 12:30 Christian called and told us that when the driver met with the owner in the morning at the drop off location the driver arrived “inebriated” so there won’t be a tour. At no stage did anyone call us to let us know about this or were alternative arrangements made by the owner since he clearly knew about the situation long in advance. We honestly wasted an entire day of our holiday due to this companies incompetence and would recommend going elsewhere in future with a company that is reliable and doesn’t let their customers down.
We had the absolute pleasure of having the tour with Bailey. He was so helpful and considerate to our needs and was so knowledgeable. My friend suggested Tuk Tuk and I couldn’t have imagined our trip without it! It made traveling around the city headache free. I couldn’t have imagined driving ourselves and having fun with it. They provide blankets and heated seats for us. Thanks to Tuk Tuk, we know exactly where we need to go to enjoy our vacation in San Francisco!
We didn’t want this tour to end!! Visited from Ireland with my sister and our mother, a lifelong wish for Mam to visit. From the moment our amazing tour guide Bailey picked us up to the sad moment we said our goodbyes, we did nothing but smile. It is so personal and exclusive! we felt like VIPs on our own private tour of the city, Bailey gave us so many facts about the city, it’s history architecture and even the natural environment on the beautiful drive through Golden Gate Park. If anyone is thinking about possibly booking a tour, please think no more!! Book as soon as you can as it will without doubt be a highlight of your trip. Many thanks Bailey, you are a credit to the company 🍀
Today we did the 2pm Lucky Tuk Tuk tour with Trey. Despite it not being the best day for site seeing with heavy fog and a bitter chill in the air, we had the best day and got to see parts of the city we never knew about. Trey was so knowledgable, personable and most of all honest. His honesty gave us a real in sight into the true development of the city, dispelling any myths or wives tails you may have heard. And also confirming some of them are true. The Tuk Tuk itself was comfortable and felt really secure and safe. We were provided with blankets to go with the seriously heated seats. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars!
This tour was awesome! We had Cass as our tour guide which only made the experience all the more better. My boyfriend and I were in town from LA and didn’t know how or where to go visit San Fran. Fortunately for us, we saw their ad in one of the pamphlets our hotel provided us. It takes you everywhere and definitely great photo locations. We loved the entire experience, we would totally do it all over again. The blankets and heated seats are a plus — I was freezing towards the end (so make sure you bundle up) thank you so much Cass for making this trip so memorable for us (and for being such a great photographer lol) We won’t forget it. Ps. We had no idea that the Palace of Fine Arts existed, we were in awe of how beautiful it is. Thanks again!!
Lucky Tuk Tuk has knowledgeable, personable, entertaining, local guides. The powerful tuk tuk gets into neighborhoods that the big buses cannot access. Guests get closer to the main and lesser known city sites for perfect photo ops. Do and see more with smaller groups. A big shout out to our guide Kelly!
Skip the bus tour, a tuk tuk is the best way to tour the city. Our guide, Bailey, was fun and personable. I felt like I was part of the city, not seeing it in a fishbowl. Have your camera ready for some great shots from inside the tuk tuk and outside it.
Bailey was totally the greatness tour guide. We took our tour during Fleet Week on that Sunday. Downtown was really congested. His quick thinking allowed the 3 of us to have the time of our lives. We were entertained by him and learned a lot about San Francisco. Saw many sights that we couldn't have possibly seen on our own. He made this excursion the BEST!!!! Thanks, Bailey
We had a great time on this tour and saw so much of the city in 2 1/2 hrs that we normally would have never seen. Our guide Kelly was fun and we learned a lot of information about the city. It can get cold so dress warm and ask about the seat warmers (they were wonderful). We even got to drive down Lombard street.
What a great way to see the city. We did this on the first day and got the lay of the land. They do provide blankets as it gets chilly. The only down fall is the row behind the driver faced the other row so you get a cramped neck after a little bit. I kept looking one way and missing the other side of the street. So much better than the big buses.
We had an amazing time! Our tour guide was Cass. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and so much fun! Our tour was wonderful! We would highly recommend this tour.
Had so much fun on this tour. Bailey was amazing full of trivia and facts. One and only complaint... you need to make the blankets available for sale as souvenirs. Highly recommended for anyone visiting SF. I’ve done many tours here and by far the best one.
I have been to SF quite a few times but the last time i saw the tourist sights was over 6 years ago. i am very happy i did the tub tsk tour. we booked a private tour for 4 people including a 3 year old. the 3 year old snoozed happily. our tour guide was cass and i felt she did a great job. remained bright funny, informative and enthusiastic for the entire 2.5 hours. They were able to accommodate our request to drop us off at a different spot when we were done the route chosen covers all the salient features and neighborhoods. getting the background/histroy is great! good photo ops etc it was a chilly day in downtown as is often the case in SF downtown. the company sends nice warm colorful blankets along in case we need them and we used all the blankets including bundling up the 3 year old. they even provided a couple of bottles of water though i am not sure that is a part of the tour. since it was a private tour cass was happy to speed up or slow down as requested or stop in a couple of spots within reason . from what i know if the SF traffic the morning tour is a better option to avoid getting stuck for too long in traffic. if you are going in fall make sure you dress warmly and carry hats and gloves. i would highly recommend the tour as it makes it a really good personalized experience of the salient features of san fran. they are a slightly newer company right now and i think they are doing a fine job. once again, loved our tour guide as well.
Really enjoyed seeing the city and its architecture from an open air vehicle. The small group made the tour more personalized and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. We also visited less popular locations with fewer tourists, but found some of those to be even more beautiful than the really popular ones! Would definitely recommend this!
My mom & I took this tour and had such a great time!! We learned so much about the city that we didn’t know. We saw everything we wanted too. It was such a great way to see the city in open air. The Tuk Tuk was so much fun! Our tour guide, Bailey was a never ending source of information & history about the city and had so many fun stories. He was funny and made us feel so safe & comfortable! I will recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Fran!
Our driver Laila took us around the city, showing it to us thru her eyes. We were ending our week in SF, and had been with multiple tourss, but we were led through the city from Chinatown to Cliff Point hearing new stories as we went. Her sense of humor punctuated most of the stories. Even got a story about how all the Tuk Tuks got their names. Definitely worth the time to take one of these tours.
This tour was a great way to see the city. Heated seats and blankets made this a pleasant ride in open air San Francisco. My only complaint is that our guide was relatively new to the city so he had not learned all the history facts and stories about the city yet to make it more educational in nature. The 4 of us had a great time though, would definitely recommend, especially once they are up and running.
What an adventure! This was a great way to experience all areas of San Francisco and hear the history behind the sights. Bailey, our guide, was not only personable but knowledgeable. Our group of five enjoyed every moment of this tour around a beautiful city. Thanks, Bailey, for the wonderful tour. Best way to see San Francisco!
I highly recommend taking this tour! Brandon was our tour guide, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable, and very accommodating! I would take this over a bus tour any day! We had so much fun! Thank you Lucky Tuk Tuk, and especially thank you to Brandon! We had a ball! :)
I took this tour with my two kids, ages 9 and 13. We had a blast! It was such a fun way to see the city for new people to the area. We ended up getting a private tour because no others showed up, it was very worth it! Highly recommend! The heated seats and blankets were awesome.
You get to San Francisco and the street cars are not operating. What do you do? Create some fun and take a tuk tuk around the city. Truly amazing how much you get to see. Our driver, Joe, had great information and an infectious laugh! We checked off all on our list to see/do in San Francisco except the street car.
This was so much fum! The best way to see the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgible about landmarks & the city, answered all our questions & gave us tips about other things to do in the city.
Great way to see all the city’s highlights in a few hours. Safe, fun and includes the painted ladies, golden gate bridge with an awesome view among other great locations. Highly recommended!
We brought our kids to San Francisco and took them on this tour to show them the city. They LOVED it! it was fun and our guide was wonderful (Laila) She had lots of interesting tidbits about the city and was superfun to ride with. She played great music and had the best personality. I can't recommend it enough!!
My husband and I are local to the Bay Area. We took the tuk tuk tour on a weekend getaway. It was so worth it. It was fun, a smooth ride, and we went to a bunch of places we had never seen in SF! The guide was funny and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.
