We had such a great time and our guide Rob was fabulous! Patient with a few of us that were first time E bikers, very safety conscious, and his helper Grant was also really nice as well. The pace was perfect and we stopped several times to take pictures or to point out something interesting. Highly recommend!

Itinerary
We start our tour at the Nantucket Whale Inn a boutique guest house in Main St. in beautiful Half Moon Bay, CA
Built in 1905 this historic inn is a mile from both Half Moon Bay State Beach and the Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail. A fire nearly burned the building down a few years ago.
Visit and tour the historic downtown with all it's highlights and haunts.
Visit the historic Half Moon Bay Jail. Before a jail was built in Half Moon Bay, lawbreakers were held in a wooden shed in the backyard of a judge’s home – which also happened to be the town’s courthouse. The conditions were so bad in the shed that the town’s newspaper called for a new jail and in 1919, the Half Moon Bay Jail was built, still standing today as a historical museum. Although the California Gold Rush attracted ambitious residents to the town, it undoubtedly attracted troublemakers, too. Used primarily as a sheriff’s office and holding cell, the Jail operated until the 1960s – hosting its fair share of overnight bookings and drunken revelers as more dangerous criminals were transferred to the county jail in Redwood City. By the 1970s, the Jail was used as the location for the County’s Mental Health Services office and then ultimately turned over to the city.
Half Moon Bay City Hall c1922, this quaint building looks like a bank because it once was. It was first the Bank of Half Moon Bay, then Bank of Italy, and later Bank of America. 501 Main Street.
Ride by the Michelin Star restaurant Pasta Moon one of the amazing restaurants on Main St. in beautiful Half Moon Bay, CA.

See Mavericks, a big wave surf spot located in Half Moon Bay, California, was discovered in the late 1960s. It gained fame in the early 1990s due to a Surfer Magazine photo. Named after a dog named Maverick, the spot hosts some of the world's largest waves and prestigious surf contests. Mavericks remains an iconic and challenging destination for experienced surfers. Mavericks gained worldwide attention for the massive waves, sometimes reaching over 50 feet, making it a premier destination for some of the world's best big wave surfers. In 1999, Mavericks held its first official big wave surf contest, which continues today as one of the most prestigious big wave competitions in the surfing world. Over the years, Mavericks has become a symbol of big wave surfing in California and remains an iconic and challenging location for experienced surfers to test their skills against nature's immense power.
The James Johnston House (c1855) – This unusual saltbox-style home, known as The White House of Half Moon Bay, was built by wealthy Half Moon Bay pioneer James Johnston. The building is now listed on the National Register of Historical Places. 110 Higgins Canyon Road

Interesting view of old town Half Moon Bay. Long ride along the coast to view the sand and waves. Very safe and easy with e-bikes. Most enjoyable.
The guide was great. He was very engaging and accomodating. . The beach trails were amazing . The E bikes were surprisingly easy to ride! Loved it
Fun, informational tour of Half Moon Bay. Even in the rain, it was full of beautiful scenery. A quick lesson on the bike to start the tour-if you haven't done it before, you will be a pro in no time!
Our E Bike Tour at Half Moon Bay was awesome. The views were great. Rob took great care of us. He also had wonderful insight to the local flavors and culture. So glad we went on this, it’s a must do!!
If you really want to get a good feel for a place, walking or biking (rather than driving) through that area gives you a much better lay of the land. This tour was a great way to get better acquainted with Half Moon Bay. The idyllic route takes you through downtown, past historic buildings, out to the Brussel sprout fields and along miles of coastal beach trails. Our tour guide Anthony was a friendly and knowledgeable guy. I appreciated learning about everything from the local agriculture and history to HMB's surfing scene to even beach and restaurant recommendations. A seriously lovely way to spend an afternoon!
From booking online to meeting our guide to biking the coast, this tour was everything we hoped for and more! Rob was an excellent leader, with clear directions and hand signals, and his history of the area and landscape offered great insight into the region. It was a beautiful clear day of 65 degrees, and we appreciated Rob suggesting we bring jackets because the fog rolled in at one point that really brought the temp down. Once we left the area, it was back to sunny and mild. A cool highlight was witnessing sea lions play and bark in the marina. We would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the coast, breathe the ocean air and get a little exercise!
Great tour, bikes were comfortable and easy to ride; wonderful tour through town and really great ride along the coastal trail. We even saw whales! Route is fairly flat and Tony set a great pace. Learned at lot about the history of the area. Very enjoyable afternoon!
The ride along the coastal trail was breathtaking! Loved heading towards Miramar! Rob was an amazing tour guide with lots of local information. He was extremely safety conscious of our group and gave great instruction on how to properly use the bikes and traffic patterns. Watch out for the “bollards”!
What an awesome way to experience HMB! The hardware was on point for the application and Tony’s knowledge of HMB history and lore was sublime. This is a must do in HMB!
Fabulous guides, excellent equipment. The scenery on their route is magnificent and the historical element of the tour is fascinating. Highly recommended!
My friends and I had a great time! Tony, our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.. I highly recommend the Half Moon Bay tour, it was a great way to experience HMB and the coast. We will be back! Highly recommend!
Super fun ride! Amazing experience riding along the coastline! The e-bikes were comfortable and easy to learn to ride. Would recommend this to anyone looking for some fresh air and scenic views.
