It was a great experience because while being on a wine tasting, Marco gave such an excellent tour on the way to the winery with his detailed descriptions of all landmarks was such a pleasure. In addition, the first winery stop was excellent with the description oh the process of the wine production and very generous with the additional tasting.

Nicole from the tour company was well organized and Marco our driver was friendly and informative. Madonna winery gave a nice presentation and gave a lot of information about wine and how it was made. The win was so were all very nice. The second winery have no information, let us taste and that was it. No real information about the wine we were tasting.
Solid way to spend an afternoon in the Bay area. James the guide/driver was hilarious and the wine was good at both stops.
Day was really good, pick up in fisherman’s wharf and then additional pickup in Sausalito. Would have been good if the driver had given us a commentary of the area on the way. First winery was really intimate and welcoming. Tried five wines and was able to have a refill. Offered discount on the day to buy. Second winery was far more formal and just visited the posh tasting room. Tried three wines with one additional fill up. Again discounts on the day. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a glass 🍷
Great trip to Napa! The guide was great and the wineries we visited were wonderful. It was a 6 hour trip and that timing was just right for us.
I enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. It was more than what I expected! Everything was beautiful!
Our tour guide, Patrick was amazing. The 2 wineries were both in Napa. Not Sonoma and Napa. Madonna winery was great. Not thrilled with RuVango. Very rude. Bought 2 bottles of wine and they wouldn’t even give a sample of the same wine twice. Won’t go back nor suggest.
Marco and Lee were amazing! They were so friendly and made sure that we got the full experience! I would truly highly recommend both of them to plan any of your future experiences!
Absolutely amazing experience! Lee was amazing with booking and Marco was the best tour guide ever. If you want the best experience, I can’t recommend enough!
The bus driver introduced herself, but we were not given any information as to what vineyards we would be going to or how long we would be at each one of them. The bus we had was clean but not very comfortable . The driver had a hard time regulating the temperature and I don’t think there was any suspension or shock absorbers. We felt absolutely every bump there was in the road. The driver did everything she could to help adjust the temperature and we came to a somewhat happy medium halfway to the first Vineyard. The vineyards were nice and we enjoyed our visit at each one. We never felt rushed by the owner's. However, it would’ve been nice to know how long we would be at each one so we could pace ourselves. On our ride home the ride was more rambunctious with guests having a fun time. My only complaint was one or two of the guests kept going to the front of the van to talk to the driver, kept turning the radio up louder, and changing music. It was concerning to me because it distracted her from her job of driving. She tried to nicely tell them to sit down, but unfortunately this persisted for a good portion of the ride back. I was more concerned once there was a lot of traffic. The driver was very accommodating and dropped us off at very convenient locations at the end of the tour.
Marco our driver was great and the Madonna Estate wines were delicious!
Patrick was very friendly and knowledgeable. A nice small group, had a chance to speak with everyone.
The tourguide/driver (Grady) couldn’t have been more knowledgeable about the area, the history, local points of interest… loved the Madonna organic wines. The staff were friendly, informative and very happy to share their wines. Bought their perfectly balanced rose. Second winery (Ru Vango) had a nice deck, but the wines were meh and I felt we spent too much time there, learning absolutely nothing so it was pretty forgettable. All in all it was a nice afternoon but I think the tour company should try and find a second more interesting winery that isn’t sitting on its high falottin laurels.
I had a wonderful time tasting and experiencing the wines of Napa. Beautiful views of the vineyards and even the cellars. Be prepared to be sloshed. We had the opportunity to taste a bunch of wines, and I definitely did not go back empty-handed.
Driver (Grady) was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Vinyards where nice and wine tasting at both places were good.
We loved it, great trip, interesting and informative in beautiful settings. Would highly recommend. Steve our driver and guide was helpful and friendly. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
The guide told us very little on the drive there, and nothing on the way back. The first stop was excellent. Very informative, they offered us five different wines to taste, and there were unique gifts available to purchase. The second stop only offered two wines, they didn't explain much, and we were there a half hour longer, which was a waste. We only went to Napa and not Sonoma as well as advertised.
This was a very fun experience. Our bus driver Patrick was very kind, funny, and made our journey there fun. The Madonna winery was a great option.
We highly enjoyed our driver/tour guide, James. This gentleman was a “driving encyclopedia” of information- his recollection of dates, names; was phenomenal and entertaining. If you want a guide who is as deeply knowledgeable as he is charismatic and fun, ask for James." The only negative was the coach bus - rough ride- it needs a good set of shocks! I wrote in before the tour as some reviewers mentioned this! The tour company assured me that their buses were well maintained- not this one! 😞
The bus journey was very bad, with constant brakes. Bus seemed to be in bad condition or the driver riding was not a smooth ride. also, the guide’s language was not clear. Didn’t understand what he was explaining. The wine experience was good
This was a little bit disappointing and I think way overpriced for what we received. The first stop was a very small winery and while the tour guide was informative about the wine making process – we did not actually see any wine production or bottling. They did offer unlimited sampling of about six different wines. The second stop did not even have us going into the winery. They just had a long table set up outside near the vineyards and we received a single small pour of only three wines. Neither location offered any kind of snacks, which was also disappointing. The driver of the shuttle bus was informative and provided interesting facts on the drive to Sonoma and Napa counties.
This was a very good tour. The bus was comfortable and the driver was engaging and gave good information about all of the landmarks in the city. The wineries were good, and we spent enough time at both to have a good experience, and purchase wine if we wanted
We enjoyed the 1/2 day wine tour to Sonoma & Napa Valley. Both wineries offered excellent wines and shared tips for enjoying wine. If you like sweet wines, ask for them so you can enjoy the tour too.
Our driver was excellent. He told interesting stories and kept us entertained. The host at Madonna’s winery was awesome and the wines were delicious, especially the Rose and Moscat. Glad we only did the half day tour because that was enough tastings for us. The second vineyard had nice ambience but we did not enjoy the wines as much as the ones from Madonna.
Such a great tour. Recommend for a nice drive and wine tasting. Both wineries were excellent. Very knowledgeable.
This was a great tour. We visited 2 wineries and our driver was also great. Highly recommended!!! AAA+++
Great experience. The Madonna winery was excellent. Very informative Great wine
The bus was hot and uncomfortable. First winery explained alot but the place was not very relaxing. The second winery didn’t explain alot but was very nice and relaxing. Too long of trip.
Marco was an amazing tour guide/driver. Very informative and accommodating. Highly recommended!!
Tour guide and drive is best though vehicle is in every poor condition making ride very uncomfortable seat are torn and vehicle is shaky and you feel jerks
Sonoma was peaceful and so beautiful. Napa was gorgeous too but they have cats on the property. So if you’re not a cat lover, this could ruin it for you.
Absolutely wonderful experience all around. Friendly knowledgeable folks beginning with the tour guide/bus driver and all the staff at the wineries. We brought snacks to eat between places which was great advice I read on previous reviews. I recommend this outing to any wine lovers.
Bus ride was way to long. We also had to stop and pick up more people. No bathroom on the bus for an hour and a half trip!
Good choice of wineries, timely as per schedule. Ample time to see winery. Our driver Mr Grady was marvelous, was giving a lot of information on the way.
Mr.Grady was out tour guide and was very very informative and a nice guy. We had some traffic issues that caused us to be late for our tour. I would advise doing this escursion during the week not on a Friday 7/10 like I did. Also, 2 wineries were visited and I like wines on the sweeter side Madonna Estate had only one sweet which was 2024 Estate Muscat Canelli. I did like that one and the second winery Ruvango had no sweet wines to taste, they could create something sweet for an additional $10. There were no snacks like cheese, crackers to go along with the wines you are tasting. You could purchase a chateurie type tray for an additional charge disappointed 😞 basically the cost covers the travel from San Francisco to Sonoma and Napa.
Grady was an amazing tour guide! We had a wonderful experience. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting a relaxing, fun wine-tasting experience!
This half day trip offered plenty of the Wine Country experience. We were afraid that we would be rushed with it being a half day, but we were wrong! We were very satisfied with the trip and both of the wineries. We were educated about our tastings, given enough time to enjoy it, and able to explore each vineyard at our leisure.
Jim at Madona wine tour was awesome, he really kept my interest ( I’m by no means an expert) and answered all my questions and really took time to explain everything. Wine tasting was so good I even subscribed to quarterly wine delivery. He let me and my family taste whatever we wanted and told us how mine was made and what affects the grape . HE IS THE BEST. The other winery was so dish and the girl who explained everything to us was so involved in herself , she never once explained anything to us . We could do without that winery . She kept bragging about herself and contracted everything that was explained on the first winery . I honestly don’t believe she knew anything about what she was talking about . All we knew from her is the home belongs to the late Mario Andretti. Such a waste of that tour
Two great wineries where staff were excellent. Patrick our guide was absolutely wonderful!! Great knowledge
fabulous. Knowledgeable hosts at the wineries. We enjoyed it. Driver was great and very safe. Absolutely recommend it
10/10 from beginning to the end of the drive, the humor and attention of the driver, a great group of people, educational, beautiful, amazing weather, and left with two bottles of wine haha! A great way to spend a birthday!
It's nice you learn about wine. There is also a tour of the city on your way there. The driver is very informative of the city.
Patrick is as excellent tour guide/motorcoach driver. He was very knowledgeable and got us to our destination on time in spite of the rain and traffic.
Excellent trip to the wineries. Transportation vehicle needs new shocks. Physical ride was horrible. Driver was great, winery hosts were great.
Great trip. Patrick did a great job informing us about the Bay Area and the wineries. The wineries were enjoyable and the hosts were gracious.
It was a great way to spend time. Everywhere we went was a friendly experience. Recommend to solo travelers
There’s a little bit of driving based on traffic but overall a great experience. I went with a few family members for their birthday while we were in SF for a short trip. We had an older family member who wouldn’t be able to stand for a long time so this was a good mix of the Napa experience with some time in the day to still do other things.
Very clean transportation, very friendly tour guide. Also, very prompt. Wineries were very nice and informative about their product.
Good wine. Good tour. Good driver. But holy the bus needs new shocks. I think the seat went thru me at one point
Great small group experience. Our driver, Grady, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating! Would definitely recommend this 1/2 day trip.
