Guide was informative and fun. Had plenty of time to get the photo ops and still explore. The van was clean and I felt very safe while traveling with a kid
Roman was an excellent tour guide. It helped that the scenery he was taking us through was breathtaking all by itself, but he added a layer of history and humor and insider tips that made the day perfect.
This tour was absolutely amazing! The Muir Woods and Sausalito were absolutely beautiful! Our tour guide Anja was informative and respectful of each visitor! Couldn’t have imagined a better trip!
Our driver/tour guide was excellent. She gave us lots of information about sites and also helpful information to our many questions.
Awesome...driver was great and quick witted. He even took pictures for us so we didn't have to do a selfie. Experience we will never forget!
Ben was our tour guide and he was great. The tour started going through parts of San Francisco that you would normally not see and hear about. Our first stop was the Golden Gate Bridge for a few minutes. Then we took the drive up to Muir Woods. Muir Woods is beautiful and quiet. We went all the way to bridge 4 in about an hour but we are fast walkers and we still were able to stop and take in the beautiful trees and take pictures. We would recommend this tour.
On time, comfortable vehicle and Ben was a fun and experienced driver who went out of his way to connect with passengers and show us some great views. Muir Woods is simply stunning. Highly recommended.
This is a good tour if you only have a half-day for a taste of Muir Woods and Sausalito. Our driver/guide Randall was very knowledgeable and friendly and offered good dining recommendations in Sausalito. We chose to leave the tour there and return on our own by ferry to the City.
Robert was a great your guide. The Muir woods was awesome. I wish we had more time there but overall would recommend.
Very good tour. Wish we could have stayed longer in Muir Woods. It was such a magnificent place. The trees were brilliant. It is a must see.
We had a great, informative and fun tour. Dustin was amazing and would highly recommend him to everyone who wants this tour. He was funny, knowledgable and had great recommendations
My family had a memorable experience on this tour, and Roman was the most knowledgeable, interesting and charismatic tour guide we could have asked for. He is also a very competent driver, which my first time to Muir Woods family said he was the absolute best! Travel plans can be stressful because you want to find the best places and tours to gain the most pleasurable moments, and this tour and Roman were a winning combination!
Amazing view of ancient trees. Memorable short trip to the jungle and nice view of sea and shopping in Sausalito on return to the city. Recommended when visiting San Francisco!
So amazing! A fun tour guide and a great group!
Late picking us up. My ticket wouldn’t print because there is no cell service in the woods. Driver of MustSee tours would not help. Said it was not his problem. We had to get help getting into the park. Told to be back at 3:15. We got back at 3:15 as driver was backing up the van at exactly 3:15. I thought he was backing out to let us on. NOPE. He left us as I chased the van. Luckily there was another van from the same company that said he would take us back an hours later. We had a bay cruise booked and was told to be there at 6:15. We got back at 6:45. Not happy with MustSee tours or with TripAdvisor for using them.
Fun tour. Good overview of the area and some of the beautiful aspects of San Fran.
It was a great experience. Driver was very knowledgeable about the area and added a few things to the tour.
My family of 3 did a morning combined tour of Muir Woods and Sausalito. The tour guide was really very good. He provided us with nuggets of information about the places we saw during the tour. The scenic coastal and mountain route he took us on was exceptional. Muir Woods is a good place to visit for nature lovers. The tour is an experience on the sights and information on redwood trees. An extra half hour at the park would have been nice. Sausalito is a scenic little town meant for exploring in a leisurely manner. One hour in the town barely gives you time to search for and grab a meal. To really enjoy and explore the place, one needs at least 2 to 2.5 hours. On top of it all, the weather and rain played spoilsport during our halt at Sausalito. Overall, a good tour.
This was a wonderful experience. It gave us plenty of time to do everything we wanted.
Friendly informative tour operator
Our guide Dustin was simply brilliant. Offering a very knowledgable commentary of all activities and answering many questions. Prompt pick up and drop off. Ticked all boxes of a great trip..
This was a wonderful tour with a peaceful walk in Muir Woods. For seniors there is the option to decline the entry fee and use your National Park Pass. Several on our tour didn’t realize this. The stop in Sausalito was nice for the ice cream and views, our guide took us on a drive through the headlands stopping for the most magnificent views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this small group tour!
We called notifying operator that we would be late for 5 minutes maximum because we were currently parking; Operator said ok that is fine; We arrived 2 minutes late (instead of the 5 minutes) and the van was already gone; called the driver and he was very irate and even happy and proud that we missed him by 2 minutes; Why say that you will wait 5 minutes and then leave all of a sudden? Called again to see if we can just take the next tour (not even asked for a refund) and then the clown just brushed us off; He wouldn’t even turn down his TV so he can listen and understand what I was saying. Called back and he wouldn’t answer any phone calls anymore. Book another company not this one. Clown tours.
A nice excursion but some more time in Muir Natural Monument would add a lot to the whole experience.
Our tour guide Ben was very nice and helpful about questions that we had. He gave so much information about every area we passed on the way to and from the Muir Woods. The woods were amazing to see and then we stopped in Sausalito. Some people had oyster specials while we had some delicious ice cream that Ben recommended. I would totally recommend this tour!
Great tour, guide was excellent, you will get a great photo opt of the Golden Gate Bridge , walk among the Redwoods and see a nice bayside town in Sausalito
It was Fanrastic! Ramon was really fun and it was educational. The trees are magnificent and primal and spiritual all at once. Be prepared to look up a lot.
Loved the Muir Woods. So peaceful and refreshing! Our tour guide Ben was great and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the day!
Great guide! Personable, storyteller. Joined another couple on our tour of the woods and Sausalito and they were lovely! The tour guide showed us bonus place to view the bridge, too.
The tour to Muir Woods and Sausalito was very enjoyable. Our tour guide Dustin was very knowledgeable. Worth the money.
Dustin was absolutely fantastic! From the moment the tour started, he brought an incredible energy that made the entire experience both fun and memorable. He has a great way of mixing fascinating facts with easy, natural conversation, so it never felt like a lecture or ongoing talk tour, just a great time exploring and learning. I walked away knowing so much more than I expected, and I genuinely enjoyed every minute of it. Dustin even offered to take photos for everyone (which we really appreciated!) and shared awesome recommendations for places to eat. He was thoughtful, generous, and clearly passionate about what he does. If you get the chance to tour with Dustin, do it, you won’t regret it!
It was rainy and cold, even with that it was amazing! Our guide, Ben, was super cool. Muir Woods are just breathtaking!!! It feels like you are in a fantasy forest from a movie. Sausalito and the stop to get pics with the Golden Gate Bridge were really nice, too.
It was wonderful. I loved all the activities and always seemed to have something to do on sea days aboard ship.
We were provided more than expected. Timely, professional, friendly service! Dropped off at convenient location
The Muir Woods monument is magnificent. Well worth a visit. We would have liked longer at the monument. There was only just over an hour at Muir Woods and the same in Sausalito
So happy to be able to visit Muir Woods . It was quiet, peaceful and even saw a deer close up! Sausalito was beautiful and we were able to have a lovely lunch outside. Tour guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating. I highly recommend!
Dustin went above and beyond. Muir Woods was closed because of government shutdown. He still found a place for us to see redwoods. He gave us plenty of time at each place. Had excellent recommendations at each stop. Well worth the time and money.
Our guide was Ben, he was pretty good with his timings and information. As per itinerary we had 2 stops at different view points for Golden Gate Bridge, but we were took to only 1. Had enough time in Muir forest, me and my parents enjoyed the nature and those huge forest…. Nothing much in Sausalito, small place with water Front view.
Dustin was a capable tour guide & driver. Good content & a safe driver. The stop at the Golden Gate Bridge overlook was good and 10min was an adequate time. The time at Muir Woods was a bit short ( slightly more than an hour). We could have easily spent more time here —it was beautiful. The hour at Sausalito was more than enough. Shops & some places to eat, but not enough time to do any eating other than an ice cream. We would have gladly traded the time for more time at Muir Woods. Overall a good tour. The tour is listed at 5 hours (approx. ). Actual time was almost exactly 4 hrs.
It was a fabulous day! What can I say about the redwoods? They were even more impressive than expected. Such a gem of nature so close to the city. Our guide, Dustin, was informative, fun, kept us on schedule, and made sure the trip was a success.
This was an amazing day to spend the afternoon (1-5ish) with my bestie. The accommodations (ie, bus) were clean and comfortable. Our guide, Dustin, was funny, friendly, and gave the best advice and recommendations for our short time in San Fran. The beauty of Muir Woods is something you MUST experience. A great place to say your prayers. And Sausalito is equally relaxing with nice shopping and great spots to stop for a nice glass of something refreshing. Highly, highly recommend this tour!
Wonderful day. Excellent driver Dustin. Gave history and tips on where to eat and things to do. Muir Woods beautiful! Highly recommend
The tour was amazing. The magnitude of the trees is amazing!! And we had an amazing tour guide...Anja. She was so knowledgeable and explained everything all along the way.
Robert was an excellent guide - knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Good driving skills negotiating very heavy traffic on return trip. Muir Woods is always on my to do list on my trips to San Francisco - calm and surreal.
Amazing tour all around. The Redwoods are simply magestic! Super knowledgeable and fun tour guide as well. Sausalito was gorgeous as well!!!
Robert was a great guide, fun, informative and created a friendly atmosphere in the van. All three stops were just enough time to get the flavor of the place and relax a bit. We found it a satisfying experience worth the price. So nice to ride in comfort without hassle of driving, parking or wondering where to go. Highly recommend.
The Muir Woods is a must-see when you're in the San Francisco area, and this tour gives you a chance to explore that region as well as get great photos of the Golden Gate Bridge and time in Sausalito. Dustin was a great tour guide, and we really enjoyed his humor.
This was a great trip to Muir Woods, a nice, serene, lovely place among the redwoods. Our well informed guide Dustin did a great job informing us the history of the area and a lot of interesting details. I highly recommend the tour!
