We had a great time! We saw sooo much of San Francisco. Beautiful views from all over. We went to places we’d never been even though we have visited San Francisco many times before The GPS guide was great and the information shared along the made the adventure even better!!

The Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is still situated on its original site. In addition to hosting art exhibitions, it remains a popular attraction for tourists and locals.
Certainly the most-photographed bridge in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge is synonymous with San Francisco. Drive up to the viewing area, or the foot of the bridge at Fort Point, to take pictures. You can take even better pictures at Baker Beach, a few minutes drive past the bridge!
Nothing beats zooming down Lombard Street, San Francisco's "Crookedest Street" in your GoCar at the end of your tour. This is a great way to experience one of San Francisco's most iconic streets.
Drive through San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, passing the bustling Crab Shacks, Bakeries and Curio Shops on your way to Golden Gate Bridge. Don't forget to wave to the other visitors!
Look for sand dollars in the fog and take photos of Seal Rock as it juts out of the Pacific Ocean at Ocean Beach.
Some of the most beautiful views of San Francisco Bay are in the Presidio, a decommissioned military base that boasts beautiful architecture, a War Memorial, the Disney Museum and even a bowling alley! This area is just a 15 minute drive from Fisherman's Wharf, but feels like another world!
At the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point is both an excellent photo spot for the bridge and a fascinating monument to Gold Rush -era San Francisco.
Crissy Field is where San Franciscan's exercise and play. Wave to runners, soccer players and dog walkers as you zoom past beautiful views of the Bay on your way to the Golden Gate Bridge.
A natural and cultural center, Golden Gate Park spans almost half the length of San Francisco, and is home to the Conservatory of Flowers, California Academy of Sciences, deYoung Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake and the Buffalo Paddock.
View the Rodin Sculpture "The Thinker" outside the beautiful Legion f Honor Museum.
Sutro Baths are all that remains of what was once a popular SF natatorium that was destroyed in a fire. A hauntingly beautiful spot to view the North Pacific Ocean.
Visit Alamo Square and the "Full House" House
Visit Coit Tower and its Beautiful Diego Rivera Murals
Visit the tallest point of the city and see sweeping vistas of San Francisco

Going through Viator made the reservation at the vendor harder to access. The optional insurance process was tedious.
Oh my goodness, do the entire day and get where you’re going while being entertained by the tour voice guide.
This is the best way to see San Francisco!!! We had a blast. You can go at your own pace and get out to see as much as you want or just drive by. This is my second time and would do it again in a minute!!
My 27 yo son and I rented the go car for the day and had a blast! I was able to see so many parts of San Fran that I had never seen before. We were worried we would not be able to park to get out to see the sights. That was not a problem at all! It was a very fun way to cover a lot of ground, especially as I have a bad knee. We will do this again!
This is the Best way to see San Francisco . We went to places we would have never went on our own. We would recommend this to anyone
Everything about the GoCar was awesome. We did the ZeroMax all day. Saw so many things in 6 hours, the routing was great, no way we could have seen it all and ending on curvy Lombard was the best.
The Go cars what a fun morning out! We did the early bird offer and went out for 3 hours. Saw all the sights and more. My husband drove, having never driven in the USA before but we soon got used to Stop signs and traffic light rules. He found the little car easy to drive and the instructions at the start were clear. Highlight of our trip was driving down Lombard Street with loads of people waving at us in the little yellow peril.
Great experience to lean more about San Francisco. A fun day. The GPS explosions everything and have perfect directions. Unfortunately today there were a lot of clouds conveying the golden gate and twin peaks was closed but it was a great experience.
Best GPS guided tour! It is so much fun. We did the all day 7 hour tour and we saw all the spots! The workers there are super great especially jose who helped us out. Great guy. This is the 2nd time we came and we will be back again because its such a blast!
The staff was extremely helpful and informative. We checked in, watched the safety/informational video and then we went on our way. The self paced, informational guided tour was very helpful, funny and accurate. It was an amazing way to see the city. The only thing I did not know from the beginning was there is also a “scavenger hunt”. If you stop and take pictures of certain areas and post them you get prizes. The automated tour guise will tell you where the item is as you pass it. FUN!
This was the best way to see all of the highlights of San Francisco!! We also got lots of looks driving around! It was so fun!
What a fun day!!! Great way to see the city and the fantastic views. GoCar was so fun to drive. The narration was great too. It was nice to be able to stop and explore when we wanted to. Even had a snack picnic with pizza from lunch. Glad we rented for the full day. The crew at GoCars were friendly and helpful.
The guide tour took us to many places we would not have seen just by driving around ourselves. It was nice being in an open air vehicle and stopping where we chose to get out, explore, and take pics.
This is a fantastic way to see the city. We had a wonderful time. Wanted to make a note for plus size people, it is a very cozy fit but manageable. It also rides low to the ground so not super easy to get in and out but it can be done. There is a small amount trunk space if you buy any souvenirs along the way.
So much fun!! Great way to see the highlights of San Francisco. Highly recommend the all day, so worth it. Not sure 1hr or 2hrs would have been enough, we did 5hrs and didn't see everything.
Amazing day out, these little cars are perfect for sightseeing at your own pace without having to wait for others. The guided tour is great as well and very informative. Highly recommend if you are ever in a city with these to give them a go. Best day of our trip by far.
Great fun and narrative guidance app was very easy to understand.we upgrade your the sports electric which was awesome
Such fun. We saw much more than we would have otherwise. Not quite so much fun in rush hour so just be aware of that but don't let it put you off. 100% recommend you give it a go.
If you are looking at reviews deciding if you want to do this DO IT! I will say my experience had it's fair share of issues but I called and they were helpful and cared. I think for myself I would totally just go all around San Francisco. We did the Muir Woods and over Golden Gate bridge. Traffic due to tree cutting and construction. We did the all day. I really wanted to see the sites around San Francisco. We didn't get to but will totally go another all day in town the next time we come. To the guy at the GoCar place Thank you for helping us and for everything. You made us feel so much better. The woman that answers the phone. Thank you for dealing with me. 1 thing I would recommend would be an added emergency adaptor so you can charge with any charger or use the charger at Muir Woods. I really hope to return to San Francisco and do the all day in town sight seeing. Also the navigation is wonderfully done. You only live once. Book it and enjoy!! Thank you guys!
The Tour guide was thorough and very helpful and informative. The vehicle does have a very limited turning radius, so beware. You may have to get out and push the car to park.
We had so much fun and saw so much of the city! Glad we did the full day and not three hours. Definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!
The best self guided tour ever! Money well spent. Not only was the drive incredible but we got to stop at 200 points of interest. We saw a different side of San Francisco rich with history, views, and incredible hidden gems. Highly recommend getting the all day pass we could’ve stayed out later
We had the most amazing time touring San Francisco. The tour took us to places the tour busses can't go. It was easy to park and get out to take pictures
This was a fun day to get to a whole bunch of SF areas that wouldn’t known about. The information provided through the GoCar tour was interesting and informative.
Absolutely wonderful day in the little yellow car. I was a little apprehensive before the day but the instructions were clear and we were soon on our way. The car is actually very easy to use (except in reverse where you have to push :-)) and we were out in the car for the whole day. You get a whole new perspective on the city and you get to places you would not go on a bus. If you have the chance go on the yellow.
It was a super fun way to see/hear all the iconic places in SF. It takes you to all the nooks and crannies of SF. You can stop & park as often as you want. It was very easy to use and felt very safe. The other cars were respectful and often gave us the right of way. Staff was great and made it very fast and casual check-in & out. We did all day but I think a 2-4 hour could be enough. After a while we stopped stopping at each site. Be advices is chilly day you should bring mittens and jacket. You wear a helmet so no beanies.
Had a great time! Great way to see so many parts of the city that we never would have seen just driving around on our own. It was fun having an audio guide telling us what we were seeing. One day is probably not enough!
The best and most adventurous way to tour the iconic sights of San Francisco. An absolute must do tour. GPS talking guide is so easy and navigated us perfectly through the city, along with a commentary of everything we passed by.
Embarking on a self-guided GoCar tour in chilly November through San Francisco with my awesome driver, Luis, was an absolute thrill! We explored the city's highlights, and even though it was a bit chilly, the excitement kept us warm. The adventure unforgettable! 🛵🌁 #GoCarAdventure #SonAsDriver #SFExploration
Indescribably amazing day out, hands down best way to see San Francisco. Had a permanent smile for hours buzzing around the city.
Such a fun way to get around the city and see everything! When you want to hop out, parking is easy in this little go car. The guided tour was great at sharing history, stories as well as options and suggestions for shopping and eating. Would definitely do this again on our next visit to the city!
This was even more fun than i imagined. You get to drive in a convertible-ish go cart and enjoy all the sights up close. it takes ab it to get used to the controls, and unfortunately the u-turn is near impossible and it has no reverse but you get over that. the cars were more dated and damaged than the pictures show (we even lost a mirror on the way) but still lots of fun to drive these little things. you may want to take the all day package as it takes a good time to get around due to traffic and as you want to stop and take pictures every 5 minutes. a Must Do when you are in SF
It was a great experience. We had the full-day package. The check-in was smooth. Training video (@ 4-minutes) was clear. The guided tour (directional pad and voice directions and descriptions of different sites) was very good - it worked well, was informational and entertaining. The vehicle operated well and bringing in for a refill on gas went smoothly as well. The only surprise (for me) was the amount of pressure needed for the throttle and the loudness of the engine, but after 5-minutes, we were used to it, so no issues at all. We were able to see all of SF in a fun way.
Loved the experience. We were able to go at our own pace and spend time where we wanted. Great ride.
This is the BEST thing to do while visiting San Francisco! My wife and I opted for the all day rental. Everyone should do the all day. We saw pretty much most of San Francisco, and had a recorded tour guide all along the way. We saw more of the city than is on the tour, but thats because we got lost a lot and kept going off-course. This is not the fault of Gocar. The cars tell you exactly where to go every step of the way. We just arent good at following directions. Lol. Its pretty difficult, however, to get very lost in San Francisco. The city is not that large. We had our Gocar from mirning until evening. Just driving it is a blast. Getting to see most of the San Francisco attractions and having them explained is a bonus. I highly recommend this tour. It might look a bit pricey but is well worth the price and the staff members are all incredibly friendly and helpful.
GoCar Tours San Francisco are a scam!!! Do not book with them!! They took our money and will not issue a refund despite following the instructions on their terms & conditions. They will take your money and run. I would not recommend this business to anyone and would not do it under any circumstances. Avoid at all costs.
Maravillosa experiencia. He recorrido la ciudad de San Francisco viendo todo lo que no había visto. Que pasada. Precio entre dos razonable. Si te quedas sin gasolina, repostar gratis. Personal amable, profesional y cordial. Volveré
