It was new and interesting. We like historical sites. We were stuck in the city and so booked last minute... we didn't like that they oversold... but the fct that they called right away and scheduled us for the night tour that day for the same price was awesome.

Your company scammed me out of my money denying me a refund. When i scanned my ticket to get in they deny me access saying someone already used my tickets. Your company did nothing to help or resolve this after I proved proof from the tour guides. Via video and screenshots. It’s clear cut you just kept my money and your excuses was I arrived 15 minutes before my trip instead of 30 mins. If my ticket was for me there’s no way someone used my tickets before me. I wasn’t late the boat was still docked the only reason I was denied access was you sold my tickets twice.

The tour was great. I would definately do it again.

BRING A JACKET! the wind is harsh. Wear really good walking shoes. Very informative. Stunning views of the bay area.

Overpriced. Boat times aren't sent until after purchase when they choose to email to you, even then u find out that thr times printed aren't even accurate. The boat ride was maybe worth 25 on its own and wasnt even full hour. Ur better off buying ur own tickets.

Collect tickets for Alcatraz trip from Pier 33 & tickets for the San Francisco Bay Cruise from Pier 33. The audio guide round Alcatraz was really good & the tour was really interesting; we loved it. We then went down to Pier 33 & got tickets for the next bay cruise & that was wonderful too - we were blessed with quite a nice day weather wise which obviously helped!

Walking around Alcatraz was really cool. Boating under the bridge I could’ve lived without. I couldn’t hear anything over the terrible speakers. The boat was too small and very crowded.

On time and worth the money. Tour description and details are right on point. We combined the 2 tours of Alcatraz & The GGB. Both were excellent and a must for first time visitors.

Wonderful! Wear warm clothing. We had hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans but still the wind off the ocean was harsh. Gym shoes and hiking boots for touring the grounds are beneficial. The docents on Alcatraz and the crew in the boat are all excellent. Well versed and very accommodating.

Make sure to check your itinerary closely ahead of time as it will help you know where to go and catch the first boat and that the bay cruise is a separate boat loading at a separate pier. They don’t mention that during the Alcatraz tour but it is clear on your confirmation. Definitely worth it to sign up for both tours!!

I agree with the last FOUR poor reviews. When we went to the tour to get our tickets scanned, they said they could not scan the tickets as they were under the wrong name. We called the company to see what was going on and they said they could do nothing to help us exchange for a later time, but would put in a Refund request. Later that day we got an email that the refund request was denied since we were late (we were not) and they could not exchange it for a later time since it was sold out. Well, that was a lie because we DID get on the next Tour out, we had to buy tickets through the Will call center. We took pictures as proof as suggested by the tour operator in the Will call booth; apparently they have had issues with this company before. Save your money and just buy your tickets at the will call booth when you get there. It’s cheaper that way and easier and this company does not deserve to get a cut off of these sales.

Very confusing explanation about getting on the boat and how to tell the difference between the varying Alcatraz boat services. Also, the historical explanation of Alcatraz was extremely poor concerning the areas that would be the Civil War and Spanish history.

This is an amazing tour!! We were very surprised by all the pretty flowers and plants on the island.

Place is very very cold, you should bring a coat. You will have to walk a lot of hills , can be better to take a little car they have to take you up and down . Cells tour is very interesting …

Look for Blue and Gold Bay Tours for bay cruise, a little confusing. Other than that, perfect! We had a great time!

The trip to Alcatraz was awesome but the fog rolled in while we were there so we didn't do the SF Bay Cruise.

It was a good experience. However I would have appreciated more details from the team on total time reqd. A lot of time was spent on queing and since our schedule was packed we had to miss the cruise.

The communication when booking wasn't clear that this would be two different boat trips. We took the Alcatraz portion and then expected a longer bay cruise on the back end of the trip, and we were disappointed when the trip only lasted half the time (2 hours vs. 4 hours) and only went to and from the island. We never made it to the 2nd trip and when I called, they declined the ask for reimbursement for the 2nd portion of the trip that went unused.

Haven't done the cruise part yet, but I would definitely recommend the trip to Alcatraz. Lots to see, and the audio tour is a great help to get the back story.

We got all the information wrong about the place to take a boat and the company in charge of two activities in bundle, Alcatraz visit and San Francisco Bay Cruise. It has been impossible to contact anyone to get the help we needed.

My favorite part of the trip was the scenery. Also I really appreciated the organization and flow of the transitioning.

I did a mistake with my reservation (booked the wrong date) and I wrote to the responsible of the tour. He answered quickly and we had a really good customer service. We were texting at night and he found a solution for us. Without this, our trip was compromise. Thank you very Faycal!

We did the Alcatraz Island and Bridge Bay tour, the experience was amazing. It was easily accessible, tour company staff was very helpful im insure woe mad with to our destinations and we enjoyed the trip. 100% satisfied

The Alcatraz tour was awesome and I liked that you could wander around on your own and not have to follow a guide. You can stay as long as you want - just don’t miss the last boat! It was smaller than I thought. Bay cruise was gorgeous and a great way to see a lot of the sights. Definitely recommend!

It was an amazing tour. Fog Tours helped us having tickets last minute while it was sold out everywhere. The audio tour is very immersive and the whole experience extremely interesting. I felt Alcapone hehe

We are very disappointed with the service. First of all, the so-called attachment was nowhere to be found, we almost missed the boat's departure for Alcatraz. No one was able to direct us on site...and no possibility of calling because no telephone number was available. Then we went to the Blue & Gold fleet counter for the cruise. Apparently we had to present another QR code which we never received. We presented them with the email sent on August 16 at 6:28 (the day of departure!)...and we were directed to another company: Fog tours. We never found it and were exhausted and exceedingly upset. So we didn't do the cruise. Given the inconvenience suffered due to this bad experience, we therefore ask you for a full refund of the service, otherwise we will not fail to report your malfunctions to your next users. Hoping.
