Saw this on the Travel Guides show in Australia and had to do it. What an awesome way to see San Francisco as well as an ability to drive down Lombard St. If you want to see SF in a different way GoCar is highly recommended.

Itinerary
The Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is still situated on its original site. In addition to hosting art exhibitions, it remains a popular attraction for tourists and locals.
Certainly the most-photographed bridge in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge is synonymous with San Francisco. Drive up to the viewing area, or the foot of the bridge at Fort Point, to take pictures. You can take even better pictures at Baker Beach, a few minutes drive past the bridge!
Nothing beats zooming down Lombard Street, San Francisco's "Crookedest Street" in your GoCar at the end of your tour. This is a great way to experience one of San Francisco's most iconic streets.
Drive through San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, passing the bustling Crab Shacks, Bakeries and Curio Shops on your way to Golden Gate Bridge. Don't forget to wave to the other visitors!
Look for sand dollars in the fog and take photos of Seal Rock as it juts out of the Pacific Ocean at Ocean Beach.
Some of the most beautiful views of San Francisco Bay are in the Presidio, a decommissioned military base that boasts beautiful architecture, a War Memorial, the Disney Museum and even a bowling alley! This area is just a 15 minute drive from Fisherman's Wharf, but feels like another world!
At the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point is both an excellent photo spot for the bridge and a fascinating monument to Gold Rush -era San Francisco.
Crissy Field is where San Franciscan's exercise and play. Wave to runners, soccer players and dog walkers as you zoom past beautiful views of the Bay on your way to the Golden Gate Bridge.
A natural and cultural center, Golden Gate Park spans almost half the length of San Francisco, and is home to the Conservatory of Flowers, California Academy of Sciences, deYoung Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake and the Buffalo Paddock.
View the Rodin Sculpture "The Thinker" outside the beautiful Legion f Honor Museum.
Sutro Baths are all that remains of what was once a popular SF natatorium that was destroyed in a fire. A hauntingly beautiful spot to view the North Pacific Ocean.

Excellent reception, Great fun and loved the thrill of driving around the streets.
This was such a fun way to see the different neighborhoods and sites in the city. The gps guide is great with directions and gives some fun history of the area you are at. I would definitely recommend this fun activity if you have never visited San Francisco! We are from small town Kansas, and we had no trouble navigating the city with the gps guide! It was a cloudy morning and I will say that I needed warmer clothes for this tour!
I’ve already visited so many countries and places, but I’ve never had an experience quite like this before. Such an incredibly cool experience! It was really interesting, and I loved that you can choose an audio guide in your native language (Ukrainian), stop wherever you want, and it is so easy to navigate. Next time I visit, I’ll definitely do it again different route again!!!
Totally fun! Really enjoyed the experience! I do recommend the early bird booking to help avoid traffic!
I was skeptical about driving a GoCar in a city, knowing the crazy drivers and steep hills. However, the route was mostly flatter and so much fun!
Tons of fun. We saw parts of San Francisco we'd never seen before. Easy to ride, easy to follow the directions.
We had great fun. Go Kart ran out of petrol which was not ideal but the response from the company was quick and we were well looked after for the inconvenience. Lots of fun. Highly recommend
Brilliant experience and worth every penny. The guided sat navigation was easy to follow and the length of the tour perfect for what we wanted to see. The information during the tour was interesting and it helped us understand San Francisco a little better. The little office gets crowded, but all staff very friendly and helpful. All in all a rather decent experience and one I would recommend to all.
These little cars were so much FUN and it allowed us to see places we wouldn’t otherwise have time to drive by. If I had to do over, I might have purchased all day, if I could find a discount, because the tour was not long enough to get out at all the suggested stops. The audio guide gave more of a nice, brief history than we expected and that definitely elevated the experience! Staff were very helpful and made sure we were set up for success. They noticed a small thing on our car and gave us a different one before we ever left.
Bit scary at the start, however once you get your briefing and keys it was awesome. Takes you to some great spots, we ran out of time otherwise we could of taken the whole day to stop and visit all the places it took you. Only negative was it gave us a poor direction which resulted in us on the wrong road. We managed to get back to where we should of been, however it was a bit nerve racking.
My parents( in their 80’s) my sister and I had the BEST TIME!! We rented a Go Car and the Slingshot( Batmobile). The tour was fantastic!!! We did the three hour tour and it was informative with the gps and got all the pertinent tourist spots. We will tent again.
The employees were so good explaining and took their time to show us how to crank stop and park the GoCar .
Fantastic morning. Staff were friendly & organised.
Super fun way to see the city and get a feel for areas you may want to explore in more detail during your visit (we ended up revisiting an area we saw in the tour later during our vacation). We had 3 hours, which was enough time to do "most" of the tour, with a few stops (we had to cut it short at the end because we ran out of time). If you plan on stopping during the tour, I would recommend doing an all day tour to account for traffic delays and ample time to explore. I also recommend going early in the day, as you are driving with traffic. Driving with another person in the passenger seat helped navigate the screen, since I was unable to see it. The voice directions were lagging, and often told me to turn at the last second, which can be a bit scary since you are driving on the road with cars. Overall, it was a highlight of our trip, and my 12 year old wants to do it again. Next time however, we will book a full day and dress up as Mario and Luigi.
Great experience & nice staff would recommend
What a great way to see the city by the bay! Great narrative and awesome equipment!
Experience was brilliant I'd definitely do it again we laughed the whole way around
Excellent 3 hr tour out and around the western side of the peninsular. I wish I'd done this on my first day as it's a great way to orientate and huge fun. The route (on a Wednesday midday) was quiet enough and felt safe. The satnav works well but benefits from 2 in the cockpit. Great views of the city and neighbourhoods.
Super experience, 3 hour route definitely the best option. Commentary very good with some grest landmarks, staff really helpful with booking.
This is a must in San Francisco. Brilliant experience and seen so much of the city. Excellent service from the staff, explained everything well before hand. The cars were excellent condition. Would defo rent for longer next time. Great way to see the city
Such a good way to check out some of the main attractions. Navigating thru the city was very easy. Highly recommend
Such a fun experience to drive the little car around San Francisco and see the sights. The tablet tour guide & GPS included with our tour was fantastic and very helpful.
This was a great idea for extra knowledge of SF. I like that we were able to explore on our own instead of in a group. All was good, only minor issue was the cleanliness of the car. Overall, I would rate a 4.8 out of 5.0
We took the 3 hour GPS guided tour and had the best time. We laughed non-stop. The mini car was snug so if you want to be comfortable, get the larger vehicle. That being said, this was super fun. We were able to see more places in SF than on other tours. When we went off course it was easy to get back on track. Really fun! Highly recommend!!
My wife and I had the best time. What a blast scooting around in one of those 3 wheeled GoCarts. Great way to see the high points and the navigation system worked great. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking fir a fun way to see the city.
Awesome experience riding at our very own pace. Was able to create addition paths and sites along GPS sites. Had to reroute upon city construction.
The tour was awesome would recommend any body to take it very knowledgeable of history of the city and taking you through sites you never knew of and best part yet is you get to drive yourself and stop at places. It’s the best thing you can do if you visit San Francisco it takes you everywhere throughout the city all in a couple of hours very worth it. Staff is very helpful too. They know what they’re doing.
Trip was an amazing experience I highly recommend. Enjoyed the narration of the tour and the GPS feature. The software was amazing. 10/10
So much fun! My daughter and I did this together and had such an amazing day! The 3 hour tour is the perfect length and hit all the beautiful spots in SF. I highly recommend!
This is probably one of the best trips I have done…….superb. The GoCars are excellent fun, easy to drive and directions using a preprogrammed GPS.
An excellent experience and highly recommended. My family and I did the three hour early bird and even this wasn’t enough time to stop and see all the attractions on the route. Don’t worry about the traffic or routes as the advice and satnav are first class. Other drivers were very courteous and patient. The GoCar staff were very friendly and informative.
Fantastic way to see San Francisco at our own pace. It was easy to access the facility and the whole process was efficient and friendly. Great navigation guide and interesting commentary.
Well, what can I say.😂😂😂😂😂 Absolutely amazing fun and a blast from start to finish. You get to see parts of the city you would not normally see. Easy to use and the GPS is good. Basically it’s a must do fun thing to do.
We had the best time. It's the only way to see and experience all San Francisco has to offer. I would recommend a full day tour if possible. We did the 3 hr and wish we would gieven ourselves more time.
A lot of fun, got to see so much! The GPS directions and info on places you are seeing is great. If you plan on getting out and walking around plan on more than the allotted time.
We had a brilliant day out in the Go Cars! Family with kids ranging from 12 years to 25 and everyone loved it! Jose and the team were incredibly helpful and informative. Got some great views of Golden Gate Bridge and everyone really enjoyed the cars - much better than a bus tour. Would highly recommend!
The best experience to get to know the city, and staff very kind and attentive, we chose Aeromax and highly recommend it !
THE best way to see the sites at your own pace. Pick and choose what you want to see. The GPS gave a lot of great info. And so much fun!!!! Employees were extremely friendly and helpful.
We had very good experience. Lots of options. You will definitely enjoy the sights. Wear a jacket and sunglasses. Its windy. Only issue was the GPS screen was barely visible but the instructions were preety clear so we were able to navigate well without it. Would definitely recommend.
Really great way to see the city as you can cover a lot of ground in the 3 hrs and fun too! The sat nav navigates you around the route. Can get a bit breesy so wrap up warm especially on an overcast day.
Absolutely the best way to truly see San Fran! Such fun and probably the only to get my mid teen to site see! We visited parts of the city we probably would have over looked! It would be nice to have had longer as we actually didn't get to stop at all the hidden treasures! San Francisco is a stunning city with stunning architecture and beautiful open spaces. Really worth booking this tour.
Experience was fantastic and the app and GPS was spot on. It did take us a little longer than 3 hours due to wanting to stop and weekend traffic so make sure you have drinks and snacks. Otherwise fantastic experience!!
This was such a fun way to tour the city! The GPS storytelling was a nice touch! The customer service is amazing as well. I would definitely book this tour again 💕
Such a great thing to do in San Francisco! The tour company was professional and everyone was helpful and friendly. The GoCars were so easy to use and the tour route took us to all of the best places in the City!
What a great way to see so much of San Francisco in one go. The ‘car’ is so easy to control and the audio guide makes it so easy. You see and learn so much. With the chance to get out and take pictures along the way, although I think more pictures were taken of us than the Golden Gate Bridge on our tour. The team at Go Car were friendly and helpful and made the trip a joy. We did the three hours but wished we had booked longer. Top tips, there is almost no luggage space so only take essentials. It can get pretty breezy so take a jumper.
We loved it. With GPS go car,we went route,we haven't traveled in 35 years hear. Very interesting. Jose was very helpful. We would go again whenever we're in the city.
A great way to see all the sights, especially twin peaks and the amazing view. Felt safe on the roads and SAN Franciscans are curious drivers. Friendly service from the Go Car team. 3 hours was perfect.
Amazing! Would 100% do it again. The only downside was that the 3 hours was not long enough for the tour we did. In order to get back in 3 hours and do the whole tour, you can not get out and enjoy any of the sights. We did stop at the Golden Gate Bridge for about 3 minutes, and again at China Beach for 3 minutes, and once more in the Golden Gate park at the Blue Heron lake for about 8 minutes. Because of these short stops we had to cut the tour short after the Painted Ladies and head straight back to GoCar to return the car. Because of some traffic (Sunday at noon), we were 8 minutes late in returning the GoCar, and were charged a little over a dollar a minute. We missed a significant portion of the tour, even though we went as fast as we could safely go. If we had known this before heading out, we would have paid for 4 hours so we could have completed the tour. So learn from us, and pay for some extra time so you can enjoy the whole tour! Definitely was the highlight of our stay in San Francisco!
So much fun and perfect for the teen who didn’t want to walk the city so much. Informative but not overly so. Saw many of the iconic places in SF and on a gorgeous day! Great idea!
