Amazing experience. Rented the covered car, because there was a bit more room for a taller person (+6ft.) Absolutely recommend. Hands down the best way to see the city, on your own time and schedule.

Itinerary
The Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is still situated on its original site. In addition to hosting art exhibitions, it remains a popular attraction for tourists and locals.
Certainly the most-photographed bridge in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge is synonymous with San Francisco. Drive up to the viewing area, or the foot of the bridge at Fort Point, to take pictures. You can take even better pictures at Baker Beach, a few minutes drive past the bridge!
Nothing beats zooming down Lombard Street, San Francisco's "Crookedest Street" in your GoCar at the end of your tour. This is a great way to experience one of San Francisco's most iconic streets.
Drive through San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, passing the bustling Crab Shacks, Bakeries and Curio Shops on your way to Golden Gate Bridge. Don't forget to wave to the other visitors!
Some of the most beautiful views of San Francisco Bay are in the Presidio, a decommissioned military base that boasts beautiful architecture, a War Memorial, the Disney Museum and even a bowling alley! This area is just a 15 minute drive from Fisherman's Wharf, but feels like another world!
At the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, Fort Point is both an excellent photo spot for the bridge and a fascinating monument to Gold Rush -era San Francisco.
Crissy Field is where San Franciscan's exercise and play. Wave to runners, soccer players and dog walkers as you zoom past beautiful views of the Bay on your way to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Great experience! It’s safe and the GPS map works perfectly.
It was very busy when we showed up and we didn’t get started right at the time we reserved but it was worth the extra 25 minutes. Employees were patient and helpful and the kart was great way to see San Fransisco.
It was organized and fun, everything went well and they were so helpful.
Great rental. Friendly staff and easy to navigate with guided gps tour. All worked well and we enjoyed seeing a few new parts of the city!
Amazing experience .. must try if you are visiting
Awesome experience. I signed up for the hour Chinatown loop, but the team was very flexible and let us go for an hour on the Golden Gate Bridge loop instead,
Two hours filled with fun, adventure & learning. We loved every moment.
It was something to get use too..the size of the go cart and the length. If you are taller that 5'8" it not going to be a comfortable ride. Overall it was an experience
I booked the GoCar downtown San Francisco tour for my friend and I. We were celebrating our 40 year Alaska friendship. We both loved zipping around in this little GoCar. Just remember there's no reverse on the cars, so plan accordingly. We both had difficulty getting in and out of the car, which gave us a good laugh. We aren't spring chickens. Don't expect to put much into the trunk. I think, if I remember correctly, the big battery was in the trunk. I could just barely fit my small backpack in the trunk. The GoCars has a system that verbalizes your tour through the speakers. Our speaker was flaky at times, but came back on when our tour was almost over. When I initially used the turn signals, I didn't know you had to push the button in to get the signal off. We drove back to the GoCar place, and they showed me how to work the turn signals. I highly recommend wearing light-weight gloves if driving. It was a sunny beautiful day, and the back of my hands got sunburned!!! Lesson learned. The employees at GoCar were all friendly, helpful, and upbeat! You can tell they all love thier jobs! I would recommend renting a GoCar to tour around downtown San Francisco! It was a blast!
Great experience, staff were friendly. Rain was in the forecast so they provided us with disposable ponchos. The car drove well and gave us no issues.
The staff were amazingly helpful and kind. I'm not techy. I couldn't get the GPS audio to work. I swung back around to request help. They were extremely apologetic and quickly identified and fixed the issue. The issue was I'm an idiot and didn't know where the volume toggle was located. I highly recommend the 3 or 4 hour package. It takes you all over the City. It was fun, exciting, and absolutely worth it.
What a great way to see San Francisco in a fun 3 wheeler ride! Great way to see areas of SF that one might not get to view from a regular tour. Time goes by fast so plan accordingly. If you are not comfortable sitting in the low gocar, then upgrade to the electric version (good for tall people). A little pricey but worth the experience.
Excellent way to see some attractions and the guys working at the shop are kind and professional. I will definitely rent again next time!
The best time and so fun!! We had lots of laughs and enjoyed this trip with our friends. The gps guide was great and having a tablet to guide you was helpful.
This was really good fun! An excellent and different way to see the sights. The commentary was fun and informative. Would do this again. Highly recommend
What fun! We had the best time whizzing round the city (at 25mph). The gps keeps you on the right roads and congratulates you on making it through the busy bits. Bring gloves and a hat so you don’t freeze.
Great activity if its your 1st time or even your 10th time in SF. The go cars are so much fun! A great way to see the city! They have upped their game on different cars and different tours.
Great experloved every minute of it not as difficult driving in san Francisco as I thought it would be..if you go off the main route as we did you would need your phone gps which was fine
This is the second time we’ve done the go cars and the experience is amazing. It is a lot of fun and definitely recommended.
Well worth the experience and will recommend to anyone I know who is coming to San Francisco. The places you can go on these is awesome.
One of the best ways to see San Francisco we were able to tour at our leisure stop for small bite even do some shopping, but the car was so much fun to drive. We had to flip a coin.
We hired a gocar today to get down to the GG bridge due to the fine weather (two days ago it was covered in fog). The gocars are simple and you can deviate when you want or simply park. A fun way to explore the greater area as well.
Fun way to see the city without having to hassle with parking. Our GPS didn't work but I called up where we wanted to go on the phone and off we went. We really enjoyed the zero max, which is the gocart with a cab. My cousin had mobility issues and this one was easy to get in and out of. Highly recommend!
The car died several times often in the middle of an intersection. We had to cut our trip short. The employees didn’t seem to care at all. Will never do this again.
Had a great time. We did the zeromax with no doors. Would have gone longer if we had more time. Great way to see the attractions of SF. Lombard Street is a must!
We had such a blast on the GoCar tour—the two hours flew by! The GPS with built-in commentary was fantastic and made the ride both fun and informative. We even had people filming us as we drove past, like we were celebrities in these unique little cars. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something different and memorable!
Great experience. Your gave you glimpse of city you might not otherwise see. Ride was comfortable. Directions were great
Was very fun and beautiful route to the Golden Gate Bridge !!!staff was super friendly and accommodating very helpful and to answer any questions
Sooo Fun! The staff, the guys there: were so friendly, and patient, everyone had a good attitude. They thoroughly explained and made sure we understood how everything works. They were so nice. Thank you for making these memories possible! Would do this again :D
Amazing experience and beautiful views it was just an incredible ride and had soooo much fun definitely will do it again and staff very nice and friendly
We had a great time, touring the city and navigating through all the streets. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will recommend it to others in the future.
It was a great experience. We had an absolutely wonderful time cruising through San Fran and seeing all the highlights of the city, except for the noise from the car. The staff was helpful, courteous and informative. Definitely worth Doing.
We did not make it to the event because our fly was delayed. We were not able to reschedule or get the refund
The GoCarts is an Excellent way to see the city and its wonderful views. It was fun and we got to see way more than the original plan!
The go-cart was a great experience! We were able to see so many places that we would have seen other wise. Loved it and recommend it!
We were met by very helpful staff members who got us through the registration process. The team rented us a new electric sport vehicle that allowed up to four people to tour together. The vehicle was easy to use and and fun to ride in.
This was amazing out of the ordinary experience we have been San Francisco area many times but this is our first time using this fun and interesting mode of transportation!!! it was easy & exciting ! Wonderful experience. Something we will always remember!!!
Incredible way to set the city, taking in all the popular spots and even some hidden gems. Would recommend doing at least 2 hours, if not more if you've got time.
Great way to explore San Francisco! We had a lot of fun driving one of these cars, we took a 3 hour tour and we saw a lot of different places! Very easy to navigate, easy to use (although takes a few minutes to get used to), and you can do it at your own pace which is what we like. Thank you!
So much fun and such an easy way to see the sights you want. All the guys were so friendly and informative. Great customer service. Loved the entire experience. (Take gloves! My fingers were freezing towards the end!)
The experience is amazing, you need to try this form to view all the places touristics in San Francisco, I recommend used glasses
Had some tech issues, we rented 2 cars and one had no audio. Luckily they were very accommodating and gave us a voucher for future use. I’m a tourist and loved every moment of the ride, I giggled the whole time. I loved the audio tour (my sound worked fine) and learned a lot of interesting facts. I definitely would go again and recommend this as a must do to anyone wanting to see all the sights.
What a fantastic fun way to see the sights and attractions of San Francisco. We absolutely loved doing this and would highly recommend it.
Guys were fantastic at the check in Up graded us to a model that husband and brother could fit into (both tall) They were fun and energetic!!!
Absolutely brilliant! No issues at all. Great way to see San Francisco in a fun way. All staff were great and the 2 hour tour was just right for us
This gps go car self drive tour was so fun! I drove one car with my child and my husband drove another car with our second child. Car was very easy to operate. This was by far the most fun way to sight see around town the city. The staff was super friendly and when one of our cars broke down they sent a new one over to our location as soon as possible so we could finish the tour. The owner was very nice and went above and beyond to make sure everyone could get a car.
Thought I was booking the marin headlands tour but car said it wasn't allowed on freeway. So did another route and it was a blast. We will be back to do it again.
The experience was awesome! I highly recommend it to anyone. Be mindful of the time because it is easy to go over. The gps guides (speaks) to you and tells you where and when to turn. Our gps went out but luckily they provide a map that shows the way you should go. I suggest they not only show the directions on the map but have printed turn by turn directions that list the street names. When you get off course, the gps stops guiding (speaking) to you which is great. That is the only way you know you are off course. I suggest that the gps immediately tell you that you are off course when you make a wrong turn instead of going silent. Four hours is best to rent and not 3 if you do not want to feel rushed. If you are a large person, be aware that the cars are small. Two large people will find it extremely difficult to fit in one car. If you and your partner are both large, rent a (motorcycle) different version or rent two cars. Again, I highly recommend this activity for all ages including the elderly. You just have to be able to lift your legs to get into the cars and turn the throttles like on a motorcycle. The cars are Super easy to drive. If you can drive a car, you should have No problems driving these cars. Super easy for anyone and children will love to ride in them. The sales people were nice and patient in explaining the rules and how to operate the cars. I will recommend to my friends.
One word: fantastic! Honestly, if you have the time, and can spare the extra money - ie it’s not a cheap tour, but so worth the money - book the Go-Car! It’s a wonderful, and very exciting and fun way to explore SF.
