Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You, Victoria Garcia & front desk staff that evening. I want to give a huge thank you to Victoria Garcia, Front Office Manager at Hilton San Francisco Union Square, for going above and beyond to help me during my birthday weekend! I was dealing with an extremely frustrating reservation issue through a third-party booking company and spent over two hours trying to get everything resolved while sitting in the hotel lobby with my children. Victoria was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process! She was patient, understanding, professional, and more than willing to help. Even as the lobby became extremely busy, she took the time to send multiple emails and provide the documentation needed to help correct my reservation. What could have been an even more stressful situation was made so much easier because of her kindness and willingness to help. She genuinely cared about making things right, even though the issue wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Victoria, thank you for your patience, compassion, and exceptional customer service! You truly made a difference during a very stressful start to my birthday weekend. Hilton is lucky to have someone like you representing their hotel! I hope Hilton management recognizes her for going above and beyond for her guests. ❤️

Can the Hilton family go to a Loews to see how excellent hotels are actually done? I truly expected way better from a downtown SF hotel with Hilton on the building. The hallways are dank (not in a good way), the decor, carpet, and wallpaper is still from the 80s. It's not pleasant at all. My bathroom was dirty and they were nice enough to upgrade me but even still, they need to renovate like asap. I travel for work and will never book this hotel on purpose. The standards are really low. They need to dish out the cash and just re-do the whole place. The service was excellent. The people who work there are great. The poor review is for the building itself.
Very good check in experience and there is always a staff member in the lobby available to answer questions at any time. The view from the Tower Room was amazing! I heard the restaurant on the top floor has great 360 degree views, but I wasn't sure what elevator gets up there. There are several good restaurants in the area. And I found a great park 2 blocks away with ping pong, foosball, and a basketball game available for anyone to play. And a breakfast place nearby to sit, drink coffee and enjoy the park. Would recommend this hotel and location for others.
I had a wonderful stay at Hilton San Francisco Union Square! The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of San Francisco, with easy access to everything the city has to offer. The highlight is undoubtedly the tower, which offers absolutely breathtaking panoramic views of San Francisco. Seeing the city skyline from above, especially in the evening when everything lights up, is truly spectacular. The hotel itself is spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, with a lively atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the overall experience was excellent. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco, especially for the incredible views from the tower!
Solid stay, no complaints. Huge hotel but it ran smoothly, check-in was quick even with a line and the staff were friendly the whole time. Our room was up on a high floor with a great view of the city, clean, comfortable bed, decent size for SF. It's a busy place with a lot of conference traffic so the lobby can get hectic, but it never really bothered us. The bar on the top floor is worth going up to for the view alone, especially at night. Location was convenient, easy to get around from. Not fancy, but a reliable, well run hotel that does the job. Would stay again.
