Very disappointing two-night stay at over USD 1,000 per night. I appreciate the hotel’s history, but the service fell well below basic expectations. The breakfast table and chairs were dirty, an additional duvet never arrived, and the bell and valet attendants watched as I loaded four pieces of luggage into my car without offering help. Valet requests by text did not work with my international number. Concierge also stuck adhesive tags across my luggage handles, leaving residue that required considerable effort to remove. Most concerning, being an Asian, I received cold and curt treatment from a bell attendant who had been chatting warmly with another guest just seconds ago. I cannot know the reason, but the contrast left me feeling singled out and unwelcome. You can refer to another review left by a hispanic couple with similar complaint. I have travelled extensively and stayed at many Accor hotels. This was by far my worst experience within the group for service attitude. Basic courtesy and attentiveness should be a given at this price.

Awesome historic hotel in the Nob Hill area (I'm pretty sure). The lobby and surrounding restaurants are great, especially the Tonga Room. It's a legendary tiki bar with live music coming from a band located in a boat in the middle of the pool area (Google it, it's very cool). The room was HUGE, especially for a bigger, older city like SF. Unfortunately the only pic I took was of the giant stain on the couch, although every other aspect was clean and well presented. My fault. The staff were all very polite and helpful. I'd make it a point to stay here again the next time we're in SF.
We had a wonderful stay. The staff members were incredible and made us feel very welcome, from the front desk, housekeeping, concierge, dining team. Special kudos to Mr. Devone at the front desk who went above and beyond to help us out, excellent customer service! Mr. Jun in Laurel Court was very friendly and professional. Mr. Zach from Engineering delivered great service. The hotel has such a rich history and the unique Tonga Room is too much fun! Overall, we loved the five star service and will be back.
I had an amazing time at the candlelight instrumental show! Great musicians, they had funny humor too which added to the experience! The candlelight’s were beautiful, a relaxing and peaceful time. I loved the Hans zimmer tribute, my favorite was the lion king this land. I recommend this event to anyone who loves instruments.
Wonderful staff, beautiful architecture, and clean, spacious rooms. My fiancee and I stayed here to celebrate our engagement and our check-in host, Linette, graciously upgraded our room and sent us champagne to help us celebrate - courtesy of the hotel. Thank you Fairmont, we had a great stay.
