Hotel Plaza Campeche

Old school decor, but clean and well taken care of. Super close to the centre as well. Beds are uncomfortable though - this is the reason why I am giving it a 4 and the windows are single glazed so you can hear any noise from the street.

This hotel is well located, close to lots of options for eating, shopping and exploring. Decently sized parking lot. Parking can be hard to find so we nice to have in that area. It's located behind the hotel through a passageway. If you follow Google's instructions it should take you there, though admittedly it doesn't seem obvious it would be there and only found out where it was after running in and asking the front desk after circling the block a couple times. Hotel is nice and the location was great. The only thing that I didn't like was the bed. It was tiny and hard. While technically fits two adults, it barely did. There is enough space in the room for a bigger bed. Otherwise great hotel.

Check‑in was smooth and staff were friendly. The room was slightly dated but very clean, and the bed was firm yet adequate. Location was excellent, close to everything, and staff were attentive throughout. The main drawback was POOR Wi‑Fi, which could be frustrating for travelers who rely on connectivity. Overall, good value for the price and location — I’d consider staying again if the Wi‑Fi improves.

The lobby is large and festive for the holidays. Their restaurant is very large, great for groups, and breakfast (from the menu) was delicious. Our room was huge, comfortable, had a small step out balcony. Small parades passed by below which was very fun.
