Hotel Diego De Mazariegos

The hotel's location was its best asset. It's within minutes of 2 churches, 2 pedestrian streets, and numerous restaurants. The guestroom needed a refresher. There were molds on the shower tiles. It could get stuffy, since there was no AC. The hotel had 2 close by compounds. The breakfast was only served in one of them. And the breakfast hours started at 7. But no coffee was available for another 15 or so minutes.

The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are clean and well kept. Matresses are firm. However, our room faced the street, and there is a discotheque close by. The music was loud until 2 am, so we could not sleep. The windows have a very thin glass, so you can hear street conversations until late at night. Sleeping was hard. Also, it was hot oitside, and there was no air conditioner in the room.

I’m only staying for a few hours, but I must say that I’m really impressed. The room is really beautiful spacious and where is even a fire place and a little balcony with two chairs. From what I could see there is also a very generous breakfast buffet, which I however not take. Very centrally located and excellent price. Communication could be improved though, I tried to explain even using Google translate translator that I was arriving early in the morning, and stayed for just a few hours, and that caused a lot of confusion.

This hotel is well located not far from the central square, which can easily be accessed by foot. Rooms are quite fine, cousy and even has a fireplace for when its cold. We stayed for 2 nights and really loved this hotel for its charm. The breakfast restaurant has a great selection of both hot Mexican food, fruits, youghurt, bread and cakes. The hotel has a very beautiful and cousy yard where you can enjoy coffee and light meals too. I very highly recommend this hotel for its location, charm and friendly staff🥰
