Park Hotel Chianti is set in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, 9.3 mi from Florence and 25 mi from Siena. This family-managed property offers free parking, an outdoor swimming pool, and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. Each room comes air conditioning, satellite TV, and private bathroom with shower. Disappointing for a 4-star hotel. No concierge, no help with bags, and no visible security, felt unsafe at night. Rooms were very humid; the central AC was poorly installed and barely cooled the room, had to use a fan instead. Bathrooms don’t have extractor fans either, so humidity from showers just lingers. Restaurant closes at 10 PM and food was mediocre. Breakfast was weak for the price,I’ve had better at 2-star hotels. Water isn’t free anywhere, even in the room or bar. Also very remote, 10 min drive to the nearest village for basics like water. Wouldn’t recommend at this price point.
We stayed here for a night while attending a wedding in Tuscany. The staff at this hotel are incredible. They were so accommodating to all our requests. The rooms were clean and the hotel was in a convenient location (although a little cramped but not an issue if you're not there for too long). The breakfast is really nice (way more than just a continental breakfast). The ac could be a little cooler.
Hotel might not be a 5 stars but it’s service staff got from me a 5 stars plus.
I’ve asked for a modest dietary special breakfast in advance (no gluten, no lactosis,..) and got a plate full of fine tastes. Congrats to Chef and all!
Hotel position is close to highway, embraced in woods, so you will enjoy a good night sleep (despite thin walls, as some reviwers wrotte). Warm recommedations!

The rooms for the price are good, but the beds and pillows were a little hard. As the rooms are climate controlled, the thin sheets are not bad. My pillowcase had some stains on it upon entering, but overall, it was a decent room. There is no gym here, which was a little surprising considering it is a 4-star hotel. The breakfast was also decent but fairly basic. The service was fantastic and the staff were friendly. Location is along the highway, but you really don't hear the traffic. All together, a good hotel for the price.
