Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, the rooms are clean, comfortable, well-maintained, with well equipped. Most friendly and helpful receptionist hotel great staff ever, Lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. From Nayana

Let’s cut to the chase: this Sound of Music tour in Salzburg isn’t just for musical die-hards. I went in skeptical, left humming “My Favorite Things” like I owed Julie Andrews money. Credit? All Bernhard. Dude’s a mix of Wikipedia, and your coolest history teacher. Think Jimmy McGill (Better Call Saul) if he traded scheming for Salzburg trivia—charm for days, zero BS.
After taking this tour, I felt disappointed. Our host, Bernie, tried to show us everything about the movie, but the experience fell short. Despite the beautiful area, the tour felt unorganized, and the hills didn’t feel as “alive” as expected.
Amazing experience! with Bernhard, We explored filming locations, learned interesting facts, and enjoyed stunning scenery along the way.
This tour was more than fabulous. Our guide Bernie was overwhelming, Fun and informative all at once and we just had a great time singing on the real field as well as seeing tis beautiful area. it was a blast and I can only recommend it to everyone.
After taking this tour, I get the feeling that the hills will always be alive in Salzburg. Bernie our host showed us everything there is to see about the movie with such a beautiful area the hills will always be alive.
Don't go for them, They're have no capacity to manage people together, the tour is very boring, Nothing reasonable comes out from the tour.
Unfortunately, our guide Carolin did not meet expectations. Her singing felt forced, and the tour lacked engagement. We were left disappointed and expected better.
They never offer what you want, be aware of them, if any payment is made to them, They won't offer you anything talk less of refunding.
I'm not surprise that they offer us nothing, I was told but I refuse to follow the instructions. What a bad experience with this tour.
This tour with Bernie could not have gone any better than it did for us. Bernie is the ultimate tour guide anyone could ever have. If you are fortunate enough to have him, it is guranteed that you will be in for the best "The Hills Are Alive Tour" anyone could ever hope for. Bernie is punctual, knows the ins and outs of Salzburg being born and raised there plus he is gentle and kind in words and deeds. Moreover, he said he has watched "The Sound of Music" at least 25 times. Bernie wins!!!
A perfect day. We could not have found a more informative, warm and friendly yet professional person than Amir to spend our day trip to Neuschwanstein castle and Linderhof. So well informed and amazing knowledge of Bavarian history it was just a pleasure spending to day with. It was one of our best days during trip. o don't hesitate to book your stress-free tour into the world of King Ludwigll.
King Ludwig and his dreams. Our Guide Bernie was an excellent host, had an interesting story about King Ludwigll which really added value before the audio tour in the castle itself. well organized and looking forward to coming back.
Our guide Carolin could make the new Julie Andrews! We had a great informative time and enjoyed this tour very much. She even sang a bit so that we really felt to be part of the movie. She really made it alive and had such a great time!
When you come to this area take a tour with Be Special Tours! They will make you feel special and it felt like we could not have been taken care of! Our guide Bernie was funny, entertaining and such a great host that we even booked another tour for the next day and do not want to have missed that. A source of knowledge and made us feel so special in the ambiance of this movie location. I thought after this tour that there is nothing that can beat it but the next day was just another highlight after the other. Do yourself a favor and go with this company!
It made us bring back so many memories and we just loved it. It brought back so many memories and being in the real locations and replaying some scenes was great fun. Despite our craziness the guide Bernie was so entertaining and even supported us in our doing. Thank you for the patience from the crazy Texan ladies!
To tell you the truth it was an honor to be taken around by such great people! We were a bigger group and Alex and Bernie just made this tour the highlight of our trip. Salzburg will always be in our hearts and having the flexibility to be around locals that really enjoy their beautiful nature as well as being so entertaining we could not have chosen anything better and just simply loved it.
Gary gave 7 of us a tour around Salzburg and its surrounding areas, showing us the various locations where the Sound of Music was filmed. We had plenty of time to walk around and take pictures, and it did not feel rushed like the larger tours might have been. Every bit of Salzburg is incredibly beautiful and we loved it. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we booked the 8 hour tour but we got 4 hours of the Sound of Music tour and 4 hours of independent walking around Salzburg. We did not mind the independent time, but were not expecting it based on the description of the tour.
We loved this tour. You get to see even more than sound of music sites and learn so much about Salzburg. Our tour guide Alex was fantastic and very accommodating. The weather was not great but he made sure to fill our day. Highly recommend Alex and this tour.
Gerry was the best guide! So kind and knowledgeable about Salzburg and all the movie info. He went above and beyond in taking care of us two girls on the road alone. Made sure we got back on the right train to Vienna and was just such a nice person. Thank you Gerry…. Tschuss!
It’s really a nice experience the location is just awesome closed to the city center , the rooms are really comfortable the beach is 3 minutes walk friendly staff I will come back for sure I will give a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
