45 minute performance, violin and piano. Artists were very good. Explained each piece in detail. Small audience, quaint hall, intimate setting.

The violin w/piano sonatas were performed beautifully in an intimate environment. The acoustics in the abbey were outstanding, as were the musicians. What a delightful and memorable experience!! I highly recommend this event!

Intimate and very well presented

These musicians were amazing! The pianist had quick, nimble fingers that moved with great ease while expressing varied emotional depth to the musical composition. The violinist also played with amazing grace and skill while sharing emotional understanding of the piece - just like Mozart intended. Definitely worth attending if you are looking for an amazing Mozart concert in a Romanesque building.

Attended this performance in May 2026. The performers were Timothee Prouvost (pianist) and Hee Jin (Jimmy) Park (violinist). They were incredible! Both were masters of their instrument. Both noted that they were students, but they far exceeded many other professional performers that I've seen and heard. The setting at St. Peter's was incredibly intimate and was attended by about 40 people. You couldn't ask for a better performance. The performance was just about an hour which was perfect for us since we had limited time in Salzburg. I wanted to hear Mozart performed in his home town and the rest of my group went along with my request thinking "why not". After the performance, everyone in my group said this was by far the best part of our trip to Salzburg. At a little over $30 USD per person, this was a remarkable value for what you got. Do not miss this!!!

This was an excellent experience in a beautiful Salzburg square. The musicians presented a beautiful concert. Their talent and skill with the piano and violin are amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

We wanted our teens to experience a bit of Mozart’s music without a major concert. An incredibly talented pianist and violinist played a few pieces with brief explanations of the background and meaning of the pieces. Their artistry was exceptional and they made the music approachable and engaging. It was a perfect way to experience Mozart’s music and learn about his style in an intimate setting in St Peter’s Abbey.

It was a unique and wonderful experience. When master class musicians play in such a fitting setting, it becomes an emotional, once in a lifetime experience.

This was a wonderful concert experience in an historic location, for a very reasonable price! I am a classical musician, so when I was looking for concerts in Salzburg, I was concerned that I would end up at something more touristy than musical. Not here! The pianist and violinist are both fantastic musicians who played a beautiful set of sonatas. I also loved that the concert was at 5:00. It fit perfectly after a day of touring. Then you have the concert, and then it’s the perfect time for dinner.

My friend and I very much enjoyed the Mozart Violin Sonatas at the St. Peter Romanesque Hall. Nice venue, beautiful and heartfilled music, and very hospitable host. Very cool to hear Mozart's music so excellently showcased in the same city where he was born.

Brilliant violin and piano playing of various Mozart pieces. Encore was a Kreisler work. Story behind each was explained which was helpful. Musicians are still studying and need all the support they can get. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend attending.

Small intimate venue provided enjoyable Mozart violin sonatas . Performers added to the experience by adding some background to the different pieces that were played. We had limited time in Salzburg and this performance permitted us to enjoy live Mozart music.

It is a moving and exquisite experience to hear Mozart played so brilliantly and passionately in the city of his birth. At 45 minutes, it is the prefect length after a day’s sightseeing. Chill and recover for 45 minutes of sheer pleasure. Strongly recommended.

This evening, my last evening of a very enjoyable visit to Salzburg I saw Alessandro Villalva and Fiodar Lushch play at St Peters. Definitely a highlight of my trip. It was wonderful to see these talented and passionate young artists give full justice to the great composer. And the narrative was an added bonus that brought the pieces to life. A wonderful hour, thank you very much.

I went with my husband and 3 boys and absolutely loved it. It was magical and beautiful. Amazing talent from the musicians! Will recommend it 100%.

This duo, the pianist from Italy and the violinist from Belarus, is superb! They played stunningly, very musically and seamlessly. I was so fortunate to be in the city of Mozart’s birth on his birthday; this concert was the best part of the day. Highly highly recommend!

August 2025 🇬🇧 A very unique experience in the heart of Salzburg's old city center. I liked that the musicians (violin and piano) gave off a passionate and yet delicate, fresh energy to Mozart's works. The auditorium felt cozy as if the musicians were playing just for me. And I was impressed by their performance since I come from a music family myself so I would recommend going to these concerts for a more real -in my opinion- experience of the birthplace of Mozart. 🇬🇷 Μια μοναδική εμπειρία στην καρδιά της παλιάς πόλης του Σάλτσμπουργκ. Μου άρεσε που οι μουσικοί (βιολί και πιάνο) έδωσαν μια παθιασμένη αλλά και ντελικάτη, φρέσκια ενέργεια στα έργα του Μότσαρτ. Η ατμόσφαιρα ήταν ζεστή και έτσι σου δινόταν η εντύπωση πως οι μουσικοί παίζουν για σένα. Εντυπωσιάστηκα από την ερμηνεία τους και μιας και προέρχομαι από οικογένεια μουσικών θα συνιστούσα να πάει κανείς να ακούσει αυτές τις συναυλίες για μια πιο ρεαλιστική -κατά την γνώμη μου- εμπειρία της γενέτειρας πόλης του Μότσαρτ.

Stumbled across this concert entirely by accident in St. Peter’s Abbey and I’m so glad I found it! The concert was 45 minutes and featured 3 violin sonatas by Mozart. The performers were wonderful and shared some charming history of the pieces. Definitely recommend!

I was an absolutely amazing experience to hear Mozart violin Sonatas in St Peter Romanischer Saal. My whole family enjoyed listening to the beautiful Sonatas in that special hall. The musicians were fantastic. Such a high level of playing. I definitely will come back to hear more when I am in Salzburg again. Highly recommended Anya

This is what music must have been like in Mozart's time in the Salzburg palaces: A select circle of listeners, some of his finest sonatas, and perhaps even in a room like this with its columns and vaults. Probably not many of his contemporaries played as well as Alessandro Villalva and Vinícius Gomez: So technically perfect and at the same time with ease, with profound understanding and subtle feeling. But Mozart's himself probably played so well...

A wonderful music experience! Outstanding music by two young, likeable and dedicated musicians. Recommended!
