This was the most enjoyable stay I've ever had anywhere. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. My only regret is that I had to leave.

Located in Grodig at the foot of Untersberg Mountain, the Sallerhof is just 3.7 mi from Salzburg’s city center. It offers free wired internet and a furnished balcony in every room. The modern rooms are very spacious and feature wooden floors, a flat-screen cable TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Each room offers views of the garden or Untersberg Mountain. A large breakfast buffet with local products and homemade specialties is served every morning. Many restaurants are close by. Free private parking is provided directly at the Hotel Garni Sallerhof. Guests can rent bicycles and book tickets and excursions at the reception. The Sound of Music tour picks up guests at the front door. A bus stop providing direct connections to Salzburg Main Train Station is just 820 feet away. The trip takes about 35 minutes. The Grodig exit of the A10 motorway is less than one km away.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and a little away from the old town which was perfect for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They really make you feel welcomed and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious, extremely clean and just beautiful! I loved the balcony with the Mountain View. They also did my laundry and folded it nicely which I was very thankful for (great service). They also had fresh spring water at the hotel which was wonderful! I did have trouble connecting to the wifi but it could’ve also just been my phone. Also I would advise those who don’t speak German, to bring their own entertainment since the TV programs don’t have English options. But despite those things, I would love to come back if I ever visit Salzburg again in the future!

Even though I would love to rate this hotel higher due to the kind services and welcoming communication on reception (our late checking was flawless and well managed), this hotel needs some refreshments of the rooms. I don’t mind the looks of the rooms, but the smell is like someone was smoking there for quite some time. On the good side - the room for 3 people was spacious and equipped with a big bathroom. The breakfast and reception area are freshly renovated and are pleasant to be in. Breakfast offers good variety, the amount of food on table is limited, but it was constantly refilled.

Charming, family hotel, very well maintained, recently decorated with meticulous design to a high standard, comfortable bed, underfloor heating in the shower. The breakfast is varied and everything is very tasty, a pleasant dining room. When we arrived at the hotel we received a public transport ticket to Salzburg, the station is right outside the hotel. Very convenient and available. There is parking at the hotel. The hosts are lovely, we will be happy to come back here again

I visited two years ago and had good memories with my child again, so I go back with a lot of fun time and memories. If I come again next time, I will come to your accommodation here. During my stay with my child, I am satisfied with the comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, comfortable atmosphere and pleasant space. And it's located right in front of the bus stop, which is perfect for sightseeing in the Salzburg area, and it's great for relaxing your tired body in the city!! I make good memories with my child and go around. Thank you so much for your time!!!
