A cosy hotel in the heart of Pongau with an excellent a la carte restaurant, using regional ingredients. The menu is updated every quarter with seasonal variations. Highly recommended, also if you only want to eat something. Also worth to mention is the exceptional staff hospitality, making you feel comfortabele.
Absolutely loved this hotel and the wonderful staff. A proper family owned hotel. It has great sauna and gym facilities. Easy access to the free ski bus to Alpendorf. Plenty of parking to the rear. It's well frequented by locals for tea dances and evening meals. The room was perfect. It also has a fantastic buffet every night and superb breakfast. A special thank you to Hannah, Victoria and Nora. We will most definitely return.
The room was amazing, very clean, lots of towels, and super comfortable. The food was very good, tasty, and cooked to perfection. Some of the serving staff were a little grumpy, but overall great.
The hotel is located on the beautiful main square. It is very nicely designed, rooms are nice, clean, facilitated with all you can expect including bath slippers and robes. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a parking if you come with a car. Breakfast was good and there is also a very nice restaurant/ bar for the evening with good food. Note: if you are not eating pork you will find chicken schnitzel or salad with chicken in the restaurant. Will definitely return.
Exceptional hotel housed in an authentic Austrian building. The room was well equipped, tastefully decorated and had a large safe. The hotel is part of the village square and just across the road is a row of beautiful buildings providing a supermarket, bakery, pub, cafe and tourist information point. The staff where always friendly and polite. We enjoyed breakfast but could have been improved with a cooked veggie option. This hotel has a good atmosphere and I would recommend.
