The rooms beautifully bridge the gap between traditional wood craftsmanship and modern comfort. They are immaculately clean, spacious, and highly functional. Requesting a room with a balcony is highly recommended—waking up to views of the surrounding historic town square or the striking Mauterndorf Castle perfectly sets the tone for a mountain getaway.
Spacious and renovated rooms and common spaces. Plentiful, diverse and tasty breakfast. Bus station nearby, linking both Lungau and Obertauern ski areas. Pleasant and helpful hosts and personnel.

We stayed at Hotel Binggl for a ski holiday, skiing mainly in Obertauern, and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The hotel is very clean, well maintained, and absolutely fair for the price we paid. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of options – everything you could want before a day on the slopes. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. One situation that really stood out: one day we took the wrong bus back from the slopes, called the hotel, and the host personally came to pick us up. That level of care truly made a difference. We felt very welcome and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
We had nice stay with larger group. Everything went well, the staff was very nice, rooms really great and clean. The village is absolutely beautiful.
Amazing atmosphere, great rooms, good breakfast. Mrs. Binggl is such a positive person, every morning she stops at every table during breakfast and has a small talk with every guest. It is such a great gesture and you feel like being at home. All the stuff was really helpful and nice. We usually do not return where we already have been, but for hotel Binggl we will do an exception. Thank you for everything.
