I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could. In my opinion, this business uses a very misleading pricing practice, and based on my experience, it felt like a scam. I booked this chalet through a travel agency. Before confirming the reservation, the agency carefully reviewed every charge, including the accommodation price, taxes, and all listed fees. The final price was agreed upon and paid in full. Only after the booking was completed did the chalet send a booking voucher. When I arrived, I was asked to pay the local city tax, which is completely normal. However, I was also told to pay an additional €407 cleaning fee that had never been disclosed during the booking process. The staff pointed to the booking voucher as proof that the fee had been disclosed. But the only mention of this €407 charge was hidden in the middle of a long paragraph at the very bottom of the voucher, in very small text. More importantly, the voucher is only sent after the booking has been completed and paid for. To verify this, I asked my travel agency to go through the booking process again. They confirmed that nowhere during the booking process was there any mention of a €407 cleaning fee. The charge only appeared after payment, inside the voucher. In my opinion, hiding such a significant mandatory fee until after payment is deceptive and unfair. It felt like a bait-and-switch, and in my personal opinion, this is not an honest way to treat customers. I strongly encourage anyone considering booking here to carefully ask about all mandatory fees in writing before paying, especially any cleaning charges. I would not stay here again, and I cannot recommend this property based on my experience.
