Best ever Hotel in Rauris, The owner is very Nice, we even invited Her and Her Husband to Dinner Once. Went there about 50 times already. The Mountain Air is just so nostalgic When you enter Rauris after many years. Would recommend.

I stayed there 3 days during weekend. Its clean and location is good. The church bell is unbelievable rings every hour up to 10pm and resume 6 am. Its load so that wakes up everyone in town. Ours was just next to it. And you can imagine so noisy it was. It was horrible.
Nice, clean and spacious place. Only downside is ringing bells every morning (we were there only during weekend, not sure how it's rest of the week) from near church.
Affordable, excellent location with a dedicated parking space, giving you the true Austrian feel. Fairly spacious rooms, great tap water and well equipped kitchen. The only downfall was no oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar....those are usually essentials even in a hotel room, what's more if you shave a full kitchen, however, there are 2 shops within less than 5min walk so we sort this issue quickly. Will happily come back!
We stayed in Haus Renate for a week for vacation. It in Rauris which is popular winter and summer resort in Austria. More popular as winter resort due to number of skiing slopes located around. Ours was a two bedroom apartment. It was very clean, well furnished and well appointed with all necessary facilities in-house. Entry to a bedroom was through another bedroom. Independent entries would have been better. Beds were comfortable but I personally would have appreciated firmer mattresses that provide better lumber support. Kitchen had modern gadgets and good crockery and cutlery. The location of the hotel is right in the centre of Rauris next to the cathedral. That makes it convenient to access all parts of town and all the conveniences, eateries, etc, are within two minutes of walking distance. You need to bear with the cathedral bell that rings every 15 minutes and rather long, almost 50 times at 7 am. Between 10 pm and 6 am it is silent. The Ellmauer family who owns and manages the facility is very friendly and helpful. People of Rauris are also very helpful. We received complementary Summer card from the hotel that facilitated free entry to a number of great locations in the region such as Grossglockner road, Krimml waterfalls, Kitzlochklamm, etc. in addition to Hochalmbahn cable car ride to the hill top near Rauris and birds of prey show. It also provides free access to bus service and local trains plying from Zell am See. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience to spend a week at Haus Renate in Rauris.
