Tour To Frades Island And Itaparica - Departure From Salvador

The boat cruise was a pleasant way to spend the day. For some unexplained reason, our itinerary was reversed from the reservation itinerary - we went first to Itaparica, arriving at 10am, where we were taken to a restaurant to eat a buffet lunch. Who wants to eat lunch at 10am? There also was offered an optional (extra cost) tour of the island. We declined both the lunch & the tour, and instead spent the 2+ hours walking and exploring the island. You don't need a tour to visit the island sites. Then the tour sailed to Ihla Dos Frades, where we had a fabulous meal at a restaurant, and after spent time on the beach. Overall, the tour was ok, but definitely recommend you strike out on your own and not hang with the group all day.

We didn't even go to the little church on Frades Island, we could have enjoyed the island better, maybe short stops at each beach. And for the amount paid, the fee at Marina could easily have been included. It's practically 200 just for the round trip transfer from the hotel, complicated. But overall the trip was really nice

The outing went well. From reception to pick up at the hotel and take to the boat. The guide Patrick is always attentive and helpful. The tour was very good. First we went to Ilha de Itaparica and then to Ilha dos Frades.

Frades Islands is an incredible place, it has several cool restaurants... a beautiful church with a perfect sea view... I recommend visiting this island..Fantastic trip. I traveled with Luck Receptivo. From the Saleswoman (Raiane) and the Tour Guide (Isa)... excellent people..with incredible charisma..

The tour was great, but the experience can be improved. It is not a trip with easy accessibility, disembarking and boarding at Itaparica beach is difficult for older people, for overweight people, the boat was without a ladder and the exit and entrance were adapted.

The trip was wonderful! A special thanks to Uallas (guide) who provided a lot of security and support. And also Clóvis (the shuttle driver) who was very helpful and agile.

I booked 3 tours, one of them didn't close because there wasn't a minimum number, and the company was super transparent, offering other tours or a refund. The guides made all the difference: Glória (northern coast), Patrick (islands). They were very attentive, caring, and explained the points with all the history of the place. The tour was simply wonderful, perfect from beginning to end. I confess that I always had reservations for escunas tours, but this tour showed me that if you are in Salvador and with Lucky, there is no mistake!
