This was an excellent and informative tour with our guide Adriano. He knew lots about the history of the locale, taking us around all the main sights and also gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area. He was really patient answering all our questions and offered to take family photos and videos of us in the surrounding vibrant streets.

Itinerary
Introduction with a view of All Saints Bay and its 56 islands.
The place where our country began as an official administration: The old governor's palace, the first city council chamber, the first prison, and also the first urban elevator built on the planet.
With its urban function, the Lacerda Elevator connects approximately 27,000 people daily during peak season, from the lower city to the upper city and vice versa.
The incredible fallen cross monument reveals the secrets behind this square, where Brazil's primatial cathedral was criminally destroyed in 1933.
In one of the busiest squares in the historic center, we will be amazed by some of the just over 365 churches in our city. It's also where we'll find capoeira dancers, Bahian women dressed in traditional Bahian clothing, and the city's most famous bars and restaurants.
A pause to know about the history of the band that captivated everyone, introduced to the world by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
Here we will be in the heart of the city, where not only Michael Jackson but also other artists have performed due to its rich history. The Black Church is also located there.

Tour guide was extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic to share facts about Salvador’s history and customs. Great level of English.
Adriano took us for a great walking tour of Salvador. Great guy, spoke great English, and very knowledgeable. Our family had a great tour of Salvador. He’s clearly very well respected and liked, as he knew all the locals, people kept saying hi etc. Highly recommend this tour. If you’re looking, book up before he’s booked by someone else when you want it! Pic is of Adriano! He also recommended restaurants etc. Thank you Adriano! Pete.
Thank you so much to Facundo for this amazing tour! He was a really great guide, lots of interesting anecdotes and suggestions. I could feel the real local vibe with him and get more deeper into their culture!
Great slow walk through historical central Salvador. Our guide was Roberto who was very knowledgeable and made the tour great and informative.

Best your ever, alot of local history and very safe accommodating and definitely made a new friend
Our tour guide, Adriano, was excellent! He was knowledgeable about the history of the area. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience during the tour. He also gave us helpful information and tips for when we are exploring on our own.
We had a great tour! It was packed with super interesting information about Salvador and the Bahia Region in general. Even though we read a lot in advance about the region, we learned so much! We also had a nice tour around the city and got great tips for our further stay. The guide also offered us to text him if we had any further questions which was super helpful. Can 100% recommend!
Adriano was a super guide. He was funny and informative from the beginning and always ready to give answers. He showed us around in the city centro and explained the rich but layered history of Salvador in an interesting way. He also gave us a lot of recommendation about food places, attractions etc.. totally worth.
I’ve done 30+ walking tours and this was certainly one of the best. Very soon into the tour, you can clearly tell that Adriano has a strong passion and knowledge of Salvador and Brazil as a whole. The way he discusses the country’s history and culture was very engaging, and it’s clear that he’s a well connected member of the community in Salvador. I highly recommend!
Adriano was an excellent guide. He prioritized our safety at all times. He was also quite good with etymology and language, transforming the walk into an in depth experience for those that appreciate history.
My walking tour in Salvador was truly one of the highlights of my trip! Roberto was an amazing guide and incredibly insightful, educated, and so much fun to spend time with. He shared the history, culture, and local traditions of Salvador in such an engaging and memorable way. I learned so much and discovered places I never would have found on my own. The tour felt personal, authentic, and perfectly paced. I left with a much deeper appreciation for Bahia and unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Roberto as your guide!
Aldison was the best tour guide!!!! Very informative and he knows his stuff about the city and history. He made Bahia feel like home. Thank you forever ❤️❤️❤️
Really enjoyed the tour! The history about Salvador, Bahia, and Pelourinho was super interesting and easy to follow. We visited a lot of great spots, and it gave me a much better understanding of the area. Flanco was great — very organized, friendly, and made sure everyone had the info before the tour. He also took lots of photos for me, which was such a nice touch. Loved the recommendations too — especially for restaurants, local shops, and rodas de samba. Definitely made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
I had such a wonderful experience with David as my tour guide! I booked last minute and accidentally booked the tour in Spanish, but David accommodated me and gave the tour in English. I learned so much about the neighborhood and the history of Salvador from him. He also took lots of pictures of me at all the sights. I definitely recommend this tour!
Our guide Adriano was very warm, super knowledgeable, very attentive. We learned a lot and saw the city in a different light. I highly recommend..
Great tour about the Pelourinho. Facundo was very friendly and patient and always answer to our questions. It's perfect to have a first overview of the center and to understand the context.
Adriano was a great tour guide. He was very entertaining and enthusiastic. He provided so much information about the history of Brazil and Bahia. I enjoyed touring Pelourinho! He gave recommendations for the best food and ice cream too!
Welcoming and insightful tour. I felt like we learned a lot about the city and its history while getting a nice guide of the city layout. Definitely a great tour to take your first time in Salvador!
I had a fantastic tour around Pelourinho in Salvador. Our guide was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. The group was small—just four of us—which made the whole experience feel very personal and relaxed. We visited some great spots around Pelourinho, and the pace of the tour was perfect, giving us plenty of time to take everything in while learning about the fascinating history behind the buildings and streets. It was clear how passionate our guide was about Salvador, and that really made the tour special. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city who wants a deeper understanding of Pelourinho and its history.
Fantastic walking tour of Salvador—such a great way to experience the city’s history and culture. Facundo was an excellent guide: knowledgeable, engaging, and very friendly. Highly recommend, especially with him leading the tour!
Facundo is very kind. The tour was very interesting and gave us many tips for the trip. Thank you very much!
Very complete and pleasant tour. We will continue to consider these types of experiences on our trips 😊✈️
Beautiful experience. Thank you Facundo for so many anecdotes and all that rich history that you were telling us. Highly recommended tour!
The guide Facundo was very clear, the tour very interesting, super recommended!
It was a fantastic experience. Facundo told us about the history and architecture while we toured the beautiful streets of Salvador de Bahia. Highly recommended
Excellent experience with Facundo, who was available not only to tell the history of this very special place that is Bahia but also to give more than expected! We highly recommend it: history, culture, food, and why not, a nice toast.
Super tour with many tips on food, bars, shows. Lots of information about the history of the city. It was really fun :)
Excellent! We learned about the history and its landscapes
Very interesting and informative tour. Very knowledgeable and super friendly guide. I recommend.
Facundo was a wonderful guide. He told us everything from a historical, architectural, and social perspective about the Pelourinho neighborhood; he was patient and answered a thousand questions even though that lengthened the tour, and he gave us so many tips for our stay in Salvador and the rest of Bahia! Highly recommended tour
The guide's knowledge was very good
Getting to know the historic center of Salvador with Facundo was a very interesting and enriching experience. Pleasant walk through the most relevant points of the Pelourinho and very good recommendations to explore that area on our own afterward.
Excellent tour! The different stops were super interesting. But best of all: excellent recommendations for the things we wanted to do.
Facundo was a wonderful guide, providing many interesting facts to the tour. I would repeat with him!
We did the Salvador: from the past to the present tour, our guide was Facundo and he was great. He gave us a wonderful tour, telling us the history of the city through its main landmarks. It had been a long time since we found a tour that we liked this much. He also gave us a ton of information so that we could later enjoy it to the fullest on our own.
A highly recommended tour! Facundo is a very professional and entertaining guide.
I loved it; Facundo Gallo's guide was excellent, he told us everything about Pelourinho and Bahia, and he also gave us advice on what places to visit. Today is my birthday and it was the best plan I made, since he even had me play the drums with a member of Olodum, and at night he suggested I go to Vermelho to finish my birthday. Very grateful for everything!!!
Facundo is a highly trained guide. His knowledge of the history and the city is brilliant, and he took the time to answer each of our questions. He provided us with excellent recommendations for our stay and has a great talent for photography. A totally recommended experience!
The guide Facundo is a genius, he gave us many tips to continue getting to know Bahia. We loved the tour and the theme. I recommend it.
The guide helped us understand a lot about the history of Salvador. He was pleasant and cordial even when taking photos for us to remember.
The guide Facundo was excellent. Bahia is a wonderful city. We liked the tour a lot. Facundo explained it to us very well and gave a ton of recommendations for places to eat and places to visit.
Very good, the guide is very good and knows everything well and explains it well and easily
The tour is very interesting and Facundo was a fantastic guide: the tour in Spanish, he spoke with us in Italian providing us with information and directions, with great availability.
A very complete tour with cultural information of all kinds. Also, full of tips on what to do (and not) in the city. Facundo is a legend.
Facundo was very friendly in all the interactions we had, offering very good advice along the way to be able to enjoy my stay in Salvador to the fullest.
The visit with Facundo was very much worth it. He is not the typical guide who describes what you are already seeing or who speaks as if the speech were recorded. He is a heritage interpreter who connects with you and ensures that you perfectly understand the life and history of Salvador. You will not only see churches, squares, and very curious corners, you will understand what is behind every stone. The unique Bahian history is worth being told in that way.
Excellent guide. Facundo was very specific about dates, names, and places. Each question was answered clearly and precisely. We also received various suggestions for places to visit, eat, walk around, etc. Without a doubt, it was worth it!!!!
Hello, we did the tour with Facundo. Phenomenal. It was fun, very instructive, and interesting. He knows what he is talking about, and how to manage a group. In summary, highly recommended.
