Great tour to see Salvador in a short space of time. My guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much information which was greatly appreciated. Glad I got to see so much in a short space of time and gain so much knowledge. I did feel a little pressured at times to buy items which I did not want due to space issues. I also quickly realized that if you take photos with people (the guide would suggest this so casually and encourage it), but you are then expected to give money which I would be informed off after. I refused offered photos after the first instance. I felt that the force was the same when it came to souvenirs and a jewelry maker which I did not appreciate. I asked to think about a cut, size and style of emerald for a personal item of jewelry and come back the next day, but my guide was very forceful in trying to pressure me to spend money and make a rash decision on the spot.

Great tour to see the highlights of Salvador. Guide was very knowledgeable. We added a bit of a mini “food tour” along the way. Fun way to spend the day!
It was a very nice city tour with Ronaldinho. As a result I got good impressions, some recommendations about where to eat and drink, what to see.
Excellent. From the first contact with the company to the end if the tour everything was great. Our guide was Hélio Duarte (@helioguiadabahia) he was super professional, very knowledgeable about history, art, culture and activities. He’s also took great pictures and sent to us. I was traveling with my dad and he was super patient and respectful of our time. I definitely recommend!
We saw all highlights of Salvador and our guide Vincent was great! He is very nice and polite and has a huge knowledge about Brazil and especially Salvador. He explained a lot of historical details. We definitely recommend this tour with this guide!
I enjoyed this tour a lot. My guide was amazing!! I got to learn so much about the city and the culture, it gave me a lot of inspiration and a greater understanding of the people of Salvador. It was nice to end the day with some relaxing on the beach. I highly recommend this tour to everyone! A memorable experience! 👌👏
I recommend this tour for everyone! We learned so much about Salvador! It was so fun to see Salvador and learn about the culture. The tour guide were amazing!!!!
Our guide Patrick walked us through all main places of interest with high professtioness and flexibility. Very nice experience, highly recommended!!
Our tour guide Vagner was great! Aside from being a knowledgeable historian, he was nice, timely and really was open and excited to share the history of Salvador with us. Great sites shown!!! Thank you Vagner!!!!
For our private tour we had Wagner as our guide and Fabio as our driver. Both men were so courteous and attentive the whole time. Wagner is gracious and speaks very good English and his knowledge of the history and culture of Bahia was expansive and detailed. We felt that we learned a lot. Well worth the price and we would book again. Thank you so much for everything!
My husband and I booked the 6-hour tour encompassing both the old and the new town. Pick-up from our pousada in Pelourinho had been arranged for 8 o’clock. Just before 8.30 Sidney, our driver, turned up out of breath. There had been a misunderstanding as to the exact name of our pousada and he and our guide Vagner were scouring the area for possible pick-up addresses to find us. Once we had all found each other, it was plain sailing and we had a great tour! Both Vagner and Sidney were lovely – Vagner turned out to be a former teacher of English and Philosophy and was a fascinating guy to talk to who took his job very seriously. Sidney was a laugh and just injected the tour with his sense of fun! Tour of the cidade baixa included the lighthouse, several forts and beaches, the orixas lake, an azulejo studio and the Basilica do nosso Senhor do Bomfim (don’t miss the wax body parts donated by people who were cured of a disease!); we then took the Lareda elevator to the cidade alta and saw some of the most breath-taking colonial architecture in the world – the church and convent of Sao Francisco, the Igreja da Senhora de Rosario dos Pretos (a church the slaves had to fund and build themselves as the white elite would not allow them into their churches after forcibly converting them to Christianity!), the amazing Pelourinho district with its beautifully restored colourful houses, several African heritage sites and much more. Vagner told us in great detail and with much passion and insight about African religion and the history of slavery in Bahia. It was a fascinating tour (which overran the specified 6 hours by a fair bit) and we got so much out of it. Muito obrigada Vagner e Sydney!
Perfect, good pick-up at the hotel, local Francophone guide very well. We enjoyed being carried away and learning more about the city from the inside. We recommend GetYourGuide with your eyes closed and we will certainly still call on them for further visits/excursions in the future.
Our tour was amazing, Charles our amazing guide. We saw everything very calmly and very well explained, very well worth going.
Very nice city, with amazing beaches, although you have to make some trips to get there. The city center is very picturesque, surrounded by culture that you breathe on every corner
Exciting tour through Salvador where my guide Wilson not only told us a lot about the various historical buildings and monuments, but also explained many interesting historical contexts.
The city tour was super complete and very fun. My family and I know a lot. The guide explained everything and congratulations! I highly recommend
Our guide, Marcos, has a lot of knowledge, and is extremely attentive. We love this beautiful city, and we intend to return with the same Enterprise!
My second time in Salvador and definitely is an incredible experience to know the culture of the place makes me enchanted I will never get bored with wine in Bahia and to know and visit the Pelourinho
Tour note 10, from the contract of the package to the end, I have no complaints, attentive and very polite guide, has a lot of knowledge of the history of the city, the tour was quiet is exceeded all expectations, clean transportation, with air conditioning, the Enterprise provides a great Service, if I had another star I would give, I recommend!
I highly recommend. All perfect. Punctuality, means of transport, experienced guide and with a lot of knowledge, in addition to a great driver.
It all started with the excellent quality of the vehicle used for the tour. From the start, we noticed the excellent knowledge of our guide, Marcos Reis. An anthropologist with a profound knowledge of Afro-Brazilian culture, Marcos described with ownership and mastery of content each historical point of Salvador from the perspective of the Afro-Brazilian culture and the colonizing nations and their implications for the present moment. To each place visited, a narrative of good content, worth noting. The culminating point was in Pelourinho where Marcos was born and raised until he left to study in England. I recommend everyone who likes to associate historical sites with content. It was fantastic, a memorable experience!
Wonderful tour of Salvador with the agency your tour Brazil. The guide Patrick mto attentive, polite. We love everything, we want to come back. SUPER INDICO YOUR TOUR BRASIL...
Since we had very little time to visit this beautiful city, we were afraid not to, but when searching on TripAdvisor I found the agency Your Tour Brazil, and we were happy, I hired this compact 6-hour script with exclusive and private Service and we were extremely happy with the choice. Indicate to all this agency are exclusive itineraries and VIP care for their clients. We love Salvador and soon we will be back to explore much more and for sure with the agency Your Tour Brazil.
We came to Salvador for a wedding. We arrived a day earlier to see the city. We only had one afternoon and we were able to see the main sights with the very attentive, punctual and patient guide Vagner and driver Fábio. We highly recommend the walk.
