About Activity
On this 3-hour night tour, you will explore the Rio Vermelho area of Salvador that Bahians refer as the “bairro boemio”, or the bohemian quarter. This neighbourhood embraces the city’s bon vivants with open arms, and in many cases, open doors until the early hours. This is the central place that locals will head to for a night out. It has a wide variety of bars and restaurants and many botecos, simple tapas-style bars that are key to the district’s charm. The first stop on our tour will be to try the acarajé and have a refreshing drink (the first drink is included). After this, we’ll move on to a busy boteco to taste some of the local delicacies, and then to finish the evening we’ll pop into a bar to enjoy a live music performance.
