A really good tour. Got to see so many interesting places and enjoyed the narrative of all the historical buildings, the history of the city and country. Monica was a really knowledgeable guide and made it extremely interesting. She has great interpersonal skills and knows how much info to give without overload. The transport was good. I do recommend this tour if you want a better insight to Salvador and Brazil

This private city tour was a perfect introduction to Salvador’s history and culture. Very knowledgeable guide, well-paced itinerary, and great insights into Pelourinho and key landmarks. Lunch was delicious and well organized. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the city in one day and explore the whole city at once.
Great information. Very nice guide. City is very interesting. Lots of nice colonial buildings. Forts are nice too
Excellent tour with Vagner, who has a wealth of knowledge about the history, culture and religious practices of Salvador. I highly recommend the tour.
I had the most incredible tour with Wandelay. He was attentive, extremely knowledgeable about Brazilian and Salvadorian history, and walked me through the backstory of every point of the tour in great detail. I had a wonderful time because of him and felt I saw every piece of Salvador. Also the transportation and communication were seamless.
Vincente was amazing, the tour was so enriching. A very unique and beautiful experience, you can’t come to Salvador and not do this.
Not only we visited beautiful places but also I got to know so many different interesting things about the history and the culture of the region! Thank you!
Very interesting tour around the city with experienced guide. Visited both historical sites as well as well-known places for fun and entertainment. Would recommend to have a glimpse of the whole city!
Nilson is a great tour guide, historian, teacher and linguist who was able to bring the rich culture of Salvador alive with storytelling and lived experience.I experienced the established sites and incredible experiences off the beaten path.
I’m not one for booking tours/guides usually- I’m the one with the map and list of places - but after researching what to see in Salvador I decided it was way too big for me to tackle and the best thing would be to use the local expertise. We were in Salvador only for a day off a cruise ship, and whilst the ship sells organised tours we didn’t want to be on a bus load, so my research brought me to Your Tour Brazil. The WhatsApp correspondence beforehand was good, I didn’t have to pay in advance, and felt confident that we would be safe and in good hands. We received a couple of introductory messages from the actual guide Andrei beforehand and he met us at the port on time. We were then collected by a lovely lady driver who drove us around for the first half of the day whilst we jumped in and out at various sites with Andrei who narrated us through the city, the history etc. At lunch time the car dropped us at the start of the historic district so that we could continue our tour of this area on foot. I won’t go into the details of the tour because you can read that on the Tour site, but I will say we were more than happy with our day. We would never have seen so much of Salvador or learnt so much of the history had we done it alone. Andrei is a lovely young man who spoke very good English, a local who clearly knows and loves his city. It was a pleasure to share a beer with him in one of his favourite bars at the end of the tour.
Fantastic day tour. Marcos is extremely knowledgeable about the cultural and historical context of the city, and a full day tour gave me a great idea on the background of Salvador and where it fits into the history of Brazil. I would highly recommend doing this tour towards the beginning of your stay in Salvador, so you can get an idea of the layout of the city as well as a basic knowledge of the history and culture. I would also recommend this tour for solo travers and groups alike--it's a great chance to ask questions about Brazilian culture as a whole or life in Salvador in particular.
Excellent is best description. Wilson has so much historical knowledge to share and provided context & comparisons that made the tour exceptional. Great sense of humor as well. Would definitely love to go on other tours with him. Also, our driver was amazing and a really nice person. Appreciated him too!
We would not know as much about Brazil if it wasn't for Your Tour Brazil and our favorite tour guide Wilson. He is extremely passionate, funny, and friendly. No textbook can give you more information than what Wilson did. He is a true gem of Brazil and we were luck to have him as our tour guide and now friend. Enjoyable for all ages.
Andre was our guide and he was awesome. I have some physical issues and he was kind, knowledgeable and flexible. We loved every minute and would recommend this to anyone.
This is far more than a tour -- it's a fully immersive experience! I highly recommend Marcos and his talented team as they are knowledgable, attentive, and well-versed in everything there is to know about magnificent Salvador. The lunch was excellent and the van was comfortable. This is the second time I participate in this tour and each time I learn something different. The experience is engaging and exciting even for returners. The information provided is anthropological, historical, interesting, and engaging for Brazilians and foreigners alike. The city of Salvador is far more than meets the eye and Marcos did a phenomenal job of piecing together that complex history for a "gringa" like myself! Thank you Your Tour Brazil for the memories!
This was a great tour. We saw the old city, drove around the city and had lunch at a fabulous "local" restaurant. This was so enjoyable and I would recommend this private tour to anyone.
<p>We had a wonderful day learning about this unique and special city. Our guide was well informed and very personable.</p>
Isaco is a great tour guide! I knew in a whole day the most wonderful places in Salvador, and not only the most “turistic” place. He is really available to satisfy your need and answers to all your question. The lunch was really good, in the upper part of the city. Highly recommended! 😊
<p>A good tour, maybe can add a one or two locations instead of going to the traditional market.</p>
<p>Our guide Marcos spends time at the gym and apparently worked and lived in London. His English is very good and he knows the city of Salvador well. The tour is complete but Marcos could have put in some more legwork in pointing the interesting bits at the San Francisco Convent, for example. Instead he took us in and then just left us wander around on our own. This also happened at the main square.</p>
<p>Fabulous trip.Excellent guide.Highly recommend!</p>
The Maria do Céu guide is spectacular, disseminating culture and knowledge in a caring and welcoming way. We love it! I highly recommend!
A tour that I highly recommend. The guides were quite attentive, the script covered everything we would like to see in Salvador.
Wonderful experience!! The guide was very friendly and helpful! Very nice city I highly recommend
Our guide Vagner was super competent, explained the culture and history of Salvador very impressively, it was a pleasure to have him as a guide for this tour. Many thanks to Vagner! Can highly recommend him. Christel and Mile from Hamburg
We met a little of Salvador through a walk. It was amazing to get to know a little in history and I was delighted I am in love
Excellent service, with excellent professionals. Responsible, punctual and with impeccable knowledge. We spent the day getting to know the city and its main attractions
Recorrido completo y muy interesante por la ciudad de Salvador tanto la baja como la alta Wilson nuestro guía maravilloso y muy culto
Very nice tour served with driver and guide. Very comprehensive full of historical information. Italian speaking guide.
Ecelnete tour to try to get to know a bit of the capital of Bahia in just one day. Much history is information about the first capital of Brazil
I did the City Tour with the guide Edvaldo Gomeia. The guy is the best. Besides a lot of knowledge is very pleasant and fun. Super indico.
Great experience this full day tour with lunch included in the city of Salvador de bay. We had a great day, Isaco our guide, he did a great job, very professional and attentive at all times, the tour in theory of 8 hours, lasted more than 10, without any rush to finish, we visited all the essentials that cannot be missed visiting in Salvador and there was even time to finish with a delicious ice cream and conservation before taking us back to the hotel. We were picked up at the hotel first thing in the morning (8:30), and we were taught the city of Salvador de bay in a very complete and enriching way, with a very good level of the Spanish language (I do not speak very well Portuguese). 100% recommended.
I hired Your Tour for an 8-hour private city tour in Salvador. My wife and I were very pleased. All booking was made by WhatsApp with Danilo and it was very quiet. On the tour we were attended by the guide Vagner (great guide, with a lot of knowledge about the history and culture of Salvador, including about the religions of African origin) and the driver Ariane. Excellent staff, very professional and attentive.
Days of peace and rest deserved! We visit beautiful and cozy places. Baiano people very polite.
We came from the south of Minas Gerais to take a walk in the beaches and the Historic Centre of Salvador and the result was as follows: we simply had a super history class with our guide João Luz, explaining all the details and events behind the places we passed and also appreciate lush landscapes that will forever remain in our memories!
Super recommend! We were in 8 adults (including the elderly) and 3 young children, the guides caught us at the airport, we took a walk on the beaches and historic tour with the guide João Luz... Sensational! Super punctual, new van, perfect logistics and João is an amazing Cover!
We did the private city tour with the guide Patrick, who was super attentive, punctual and accompanied us all the time. We really liked the tour, the lunch was great and we had a lot of fun. We went home counting the days to return to Salvador. Thank you and to the next time!
Excellent city and happy and welcoming people, with a beautiful cuisine and tourist attractions one better than the other, city with beautiful beaches from end to end this is Salvador
The guide is very good, but I found very expensive by the sights visited. The guide directed to the shop and more expensive restaurants, I felt exploited.
If you wanted a full day of history, culture and typical bay things this would be the best option. All our questions were answered with the best patience and rigor of a good guide. We were taken up and down by car throughout the most important parts of the city. Five Star Vagner for your attention. It was very good. now if we understand where Brazil was born!
Good choice for those who only have 01 day to know the main sights of Salvador. I recommend the agency and the guide Marcos, very kind and concerned. We don't waste time and go straight to what's interesting in the city. Lunch in a restaurant in Pelourinho.
We did the whole day tour and we loved everything, from the organization as well as the content, it was all elaborated to my taste, a special thanks to guide Sidney for his patience and attention. Salvador is a well-kept beautiful city to see and review.
Extraordinary and perfectly organized by Marcos, this is a complete tour that allows you to visit and enjoy the beauties of Salvador at 360 degrees, thanks to the knowledgeable guide Maria and the very nice Junior driver, Quanta Nostalgia :)
Friendly staff, polite and know a lot about every tourist spot. Salvador itself is already an unforgettable postcard, more with this TOUR becomes even more striking,
We were surprised by the quality of this script and all the care of this agency with us, we did the tour of the whole day in a car 5 stars IX35 novíssimo with the driver Fabio and the wonderful Marcos, a walking encyclopedia, intelligent animated and very elegant, presented Salvador in order to fall in love with all this culture, I recommend 1 million times.
This tour shows the whole city, essential for those who have little time, it is possible to see a lot of things in a peaceful way the city and beautiful and well cared for lively people, a lot of history, I highly recommend this tour, perfect
Guided by the Junior and Guided by the Marcos of Your Tour Brazil, me and my sister can get to know the sights of Salvador throughout the day in our Private City Tour, Wonderful! Not counting on the excellent lunch, including on the tour, where we can taste the Bahai cuisine and with the delicious ice cream in the late afternoon at the Ribeira Sorveteria, this on our own. :)
Hiring the Enterprise was very easy. The conversation went through what's app and email. We were greeted by the driver Fábio, courteous and careful. In the two packages purchased (Bahia the night is City tour Full day), we have guides João Luiz, cult, smart and very friendly. The scripts are well crafted. Worth every penny!
I hired transfers and tours services in Salvador with Your Tour Brazil, and I was surprised by the agility in the service, in less than 40 minutes I had my whole script ready with the help of Marcos, where he built everything I wanted in the visit to Salvador. I have a word to define this agency - EXPERTS! We bought the whole day tours with lunch, Bahia the night (show and dinner), we attended a spectacular candomblé ceremony, we went to Cachoeira colonial city, in short everything perfect, new cars (IX35), polite and smart guides, wonderful restaurants, an enriching experience. Salvador is a historic city, well worth it!
Get in touch with Marcos via whatsapp I was very well served with a lot of kindness and dynamism and the walk was wonderful the city was very well presented..... Congratulations on your professionalism
