This is not a Vila Gale. This feels more like an old hotel. The view of the sea in the breakfast lounge is beautiful but the Breakfast itself is not on of good quality. The hotel feels a but run down, old, dark, and the rooms are too noisy. You can hear your neighbours all the time. The staff keeps on speaking in the halls and you hear them all the time.
Average at best. The worst, most unreliable internet of this hemisphere. If you need to video call for work, this is not for you.
I do not recommend, dingy, dirty and humid room. The cleaning was not that good as well, I had to clean the headboard before go to bed, It had mold on it. definitely the entire hotel needs renovation and new management.
Hotel location in the Ondina area. Good room size but room need some attention/renovation, especially the bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast with lots of options. Nice pool area. Helpful and polite employees.
The lunch and dinner food is terrible! Breakfast was so so. Either over salted scrambled eggs or they looked like Polenta of how dry they were. Rice super dry not edible. We only had cold things from the breakfast, yoghurt and bread with ham and cheese. I do not recommend eating at this hotel, super expensive and not edible the food. I stayed in small town hotels with 10 times better with food.
