No wifi for a start. Room is quite rundown. We have a huge problem as you can’t have anyone else in your room! We are getting married today and need the best man and bridesmaid get ready before the wedding and they are not allowed in our room!! Everything is difficult at this place.
The breakfast here is a vibrant ambassador for the tropics, a plate that captures the very essence of the sun, the soil, and the spirit of the country. It is a masterclass in local flavor. Yet, as wonderful as the cuisine is, it is the staff who truly define the experience. Their warmth and genuine care are the heartbeat of this place, turning a beautiful meal into an unforgettable memory.
Beside the beautiful sea view, the room is terrible. Very old, drawers hardly open and don't close properly, very old cutlery, no soap on the bathroom, there is a hole in the bed sheets, a gas pipe in the kitchen (don't think this is safe). Ask for a renovated room if you have to stay here otherwise don't.
You are paying only for the seaside view. The building and rooms are old, you are lucky if you get a flat that has good working air conditioning. Extra towels or bedsheets are not available, you have to try to talk to the landlord if you have any issues, because nothing is solved at the reception. It’s too expensive for the kind of service they offer (I am Brazilian, maybe foreigners think it’s cheap).
On November 24th I called this place and they said they had rooms available. It was late at night, so I didn’t want to hear walking around. Upon arrival the man in the reception tells me that he “thinks” he has room available and they’re around 350-400, and he “can’t remember” I tell him that I was tired and it’s late, so that was fine. Next he tells me he only accepted Pix. That’s when I knew he was trying to scam me. Any hotel on the beach front will accept credit card, he wanted to take my money. Please do not waste your time there until that man is no longer there.
