Tour Cafayate From Salta

The guide had very good vibes and were very good at her job. She often times came to me and gave me personal recommendations or for a small chat. The driver was also good, I always felt safe. The trips itself is well planned and you get to see a lot of unique natural phenomenons. The trips back is quite long though since there's just one toilet stop on the way back, just as you are prepared.

Unfortunately as a solo female traveller I experienced unwanted comments about my appearance as well as other inappropriate comments from the tour guide that made me very uncomfortable and tainted my experience of what otherwise would have been a great trip. After this experience I wrote to tripadvisor (who I booked through) who were very apologetic and prompt in their response, and forwarded my experience to the tour company. I never received any apology or any communication at all from the tour company. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this company to others.

Great entertaining and knowledgeable Tour Guide, good tour with just enough stops

I did a day tour to Cafayate with Belén as our guide. She did an excellent job keeping the group organized and switched effortlessly between Spanish and English. I felt well informed throughout the entire journey and really appreciated her knowledge and professionalism.

We had such a great day seeing the red rocks around Cafayate. Majo was a great guide, giving us enough information to make it really interesting and although the stops were quick it was enough time to see everything. It’s a long day but on the drive you can see a lot of the beautiful scenery. The only bad thing was that the wine tour was only in Spanish with no English translation. We weren’t too bothered as we were really there for the scenery but that could be a problem for some!

Overall trip was quite interesting. Beautiful views, timely stops and some new facts. What should be changed is the winery as it is spoiling the impression of the tour. Wine tasting is the worst experience ever. Starting from the staff, process itself and finishing with microscopic amounts of average wine for degustation.

We had a lovely day with Majo and Cone. They made us feel welcome and were so informative. The day is very long so bring a neck pillow and plenty of water

The tour is great and the destination was amazing. Our guide was super nice and knowledgeable. The only thing I didn't like was the first stop at the Parador Posta de las Cabras. The food was not good, coffee was horrible, very expensive. Other than that we're very happy.

Flor Mendoza was great and she did her best with English translation. I had a nice time & met few other solo travelers since everyone was couples. Thanks Pawn

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Our guide, Majo, was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout the entire day. She gave clear and interesting explanations at every stop and made the tour both informative and enjoyable. Our driver, Fer, also did an excellent job and made the long day feel comfortable and smooth. I was the only English-speaking traveler in the group, and I especially appreciated how much care Majo took to make sure I was included and understood everything. Even though the rest of the group spoke Spanish, everyone was incredibly friendly to me as a solo traveler. They interacted with me throughout the day and even offered to take photos for me, which gave me many wonderful memories from the trip. This was one of those tours where the people made the experience even more memorable than the scenery itself. I highly recommend this tour, and if you are fortunate enough to have Majo as your guide, you are in very good hands. I would gladly recommend her to any traveler visiting Salta.

This tour was very fulfilling and informative and I would definitely recommend it.

The highlights of this trip are the spectacular canyons and rock formations on the road between Salta and Cafayate. Although the tour of the vineyard outside Cafayate was also enjoyable, there was a lot of time spent explaining the wine production process in Spanish, with limited English translation. The tour was well organized, with many opportunities to get out of the bus and explore or take pictures. Lunch in Cafayate was also great. Our guide Luciana was excellent, providing commentary in Spanish and English throughout the trip.

Went with Flor Mendoza, and Conejo, and had a fantastic time! Flawlessly organised, great vibes 10/10!

The Tourguide was AMAZING! So much passion about the region, a lot of nice facts and just a very chil and friendly vibe. Would defenitly reccomend him or do a tour with him again.

The energy was great and the tourguide was very motivated. The sights themselves were beautiful!

The tour was punctual. The tour wasn’t expensive so I don’t want to be too harsh about it. But THIS IS NOT FOR NON-SPANISH SPEAKERS. It isn’t that the tour guide doesn’t speak any English, it’s that she doesn’t even try. She doesn’t even bother to tell you where and when to meet. So for non-Spanish speakers, this is just a long bus ride for you. The winery tour is just a sales pitch and time in Cafayate seems aimless.

Overall the tour was well organized,Flor was a sweet tour guide. The only wish would be to make more stops along the road. This road is very scenic and if it was me driving I would stop every 5min. In fact, if you can drive - it makes a lot of sence to rent a car and make this tour at your own pace.

Excellent value trip to the town of Cafayete. The itinerary was well planned, with plenty of stops. The guide and driver were excellent, and looked after us. A long day but a lovely one.

The ride through Las Conshas was absolutely amazing as was the stops at Garganta Diablo and the Amphitheater. The trip to the winery was really quick so if you are thinking you'll get to relax and have a glass of wine, think again. It was a tasting of 3 different wines and then on to Cafayate for lunch. The driver was great and seemed to know every bump in the road and tried to avoid them.Our guide knew absolutely everything and was so informative and fun! He had some great stories too! He really made it fun!

Great tour with a lovely guide and a very good driver. The frist part was with a lof of sightseen stopps. Than we had time to discover the city/wineries on our own. And finaly the drove us back save and sound. Overall, they made my day!

The beautiful mountain scenery is well worth the drive from Salta. Lots of great stops and vistas along the way and Cafayate itself is charming.

It was an great experience. The road trip is spectacular and a must do for anyone visiting Salta. The bus picked us up from outside our hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The whole trip was beautifully organised. It's a long day but it never felt like it as there was so much to see and do. The restaurant that was recommended was good quality and great value and when we went to the winery and other places there was never any pressure to buy anything. Abel (Chofer) was brilliant. Quite a character, and very fentertaoning, who did everything to ensure we had a great time. He alone was worth the money we paid for the trip! We have no problem recommending Parada Norte to any visit to Salta,

It was an amazig day visiting Cafayate with the group ride. Majo was a great guide, very interesting, energetic and brought a good vibe. Timing was also perfect in all locations. Sergio drove us perfectly safe to all spots and back to Salta. Great experience.

We had an absolutely amazing time on this trip! Our tour guide Abel was incredible, super friendly and made the day run so smoothly. Shout out to our driver Edward who was also great and very friendly! It was a long day but we had lots of stops along the way and there was so much to see and do. We loved everything about the experience and would 100% recommend!

The scenery on route and the scenic stops were spectacular. However the winery tour and tasting turned into an overcrowded mosh pit. We had booked an English tour and once at the winery we were lumped into multiple Spanish speaking tour groups which we did not understand. The quality of the wine is poor. We did not go to the winery that is pictured on the ad. The guide was informative on the way to Cafayate. Although on the return he advised that he would be quiet to allow us to rest, but instead carried on a loud private conversation and played and sang to disco music.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Lots to see. Highly recommend.

A superb tour in a comfortable minibus through the spectacular Valles Calchaquíes with short stops at the scenic highlights. Excellent commentary in Spanish and English throughout by our guide Majo. Highly recommended for anyone interested in breathtaking scenery. A brief wine tasting was followed by a lunch stop in Cafayate before the return to Salta which retraces the outbound journey.

We took two trips with Parada norte one to cafayate with Majo and Dani and one to Salinas grande with Roxi. Both trips were very well organised, long drives but the scene is spectacular across both days. I would definitely recommend them, the guides were knowledgeable and shared plenty of info of Salta and neighbouring provinces.

Majo is super guide, she will also be your personal Photographer on the tour !

Expected a little more. Scenery great, Lady in charge great, think name was Mago. El Cafayate small place probably too long a trip for more and would have been better with an extra day.

Stunning landscapes, worth the trip but make sure your guide keeps you to time. Majo was lovely and knowledgeable but quick 1O min stops turned to 20 and we couldn’t meet the bus for 25 mins at last pick up for some reason, plus we went on massive detour to drop someone at airport so return time was 9pm. Communication as to what was going on would’ve been less frustrating.

The experience was very good and enjoyable because of Majo. She is knowledgeable, communicative and led the group to a very good trip. Majo helped us understand the places and the history and also the wine we tasted. Majo also led a public singing helping to cross the dull moments of a long travel. Next time I travel I would be happy if Majo guide the next trip.

Interesting to witness the ice berg. The ride went smoothly, the sail was extremely well and we got to see the ice melting and a black iceberg rises

We had a wonderful time with our tourguide Majo and our driver Dani! She told us a lot of interesting facts about the sights at Cafayate. And also made the busride a fun experience by animating the whole group. We did a lot of tours around Salta, this was by far the best one!

The tour was beyond our expectations in many ways. We began with a wecoming kiss from Majo, our exellent guide, in the rain and driven through flooded roads (Danny the driver was fantastic) to emerge with the sun, into the stunning Quebrada de las Conchas, with three further stops to admire the towering walls of red, ochres and pinks. We enjoyed the wine tasting tour aided by Majo's excellent english translation and lunch in beautiful Cafayate. Majo's commentary was hugely informatvice, entertaiing and at points joyous. Her choice of music to accompany the scenery was inspired. We would highly recommend this tour - stunning, joyous and life affirming. All our fellow travellers smiled with us. Many thanks!

The tour was beautiful like all the other three that I’ve done with this company. Majo was a wonderful guide, gave lots of information and always with a smile on her face. I appreciated her helping couples and solo travelers taking pictures.

Tour arrived 30 minutes late. Could not contact them on telephone no. Given. Packed bus. Not enough bathroom breaks for such a long day. Although conducted in English the greater language was Spanish. Very short wine tour. Not an exciting tour. We were not dropped back to our collection point.

I did Cafayate tour with them from Salta and it was absolutely fun! Majo, our guide made sure that we had best time and she spoke perfect English which helped a lot!!

Sergio was great. Plenty to see to make the ~12 hour day worth it. Cafayate was maybe the destination but the journey is the best part.

Majo and Pablo took an amazing care of us today on our tour of Cafayate. It was predominantly a Spanish speaking group but Majo was very attentive to the few of us who only spoke English. Plenty of stops with time to enjoy the surroundings, loved every minute of it

Yesterday we went on an excursion to Cafayate and it was a wonderful experience. The route is amazing, with spectacular landscapes and well-organized stops that allow you to enjoy each place. Our guide, Majo, accompanied us throughout the trip with clear explanations and interesting information about the area, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Overall, everything was very well organized, and the journey was comfortable and pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore Cafayate and its surroundings.
