About Activity
Surrounded by towering mountains and carved by the Grande River, the spectacular Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers breathtaking landscapes dotted with charming villages. Its residents preserve ancient traditions, including religious beliefs, rituals, art, festivals, and traditional agricultural techniques. Traveling through the Sub-Andean valleys, you will pass San Salvador de Jujuy, León, and Yala before reaching the gateway to the Quebrada. Along the route, visit several villages: Purmamarca, at the base of the colorful Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven Colors Hill); Tilcara, known for its vibrant crafts and loom fairs; and Pucará, where you can explore the ruins and the Anthropological Museum. The tour concludes in the historic city of Humahuaca, where the Church and Cabildo are highlights.
