Ride was comfortable. Visited very interesting places. But, tour guide was quite hands off. Ex. We are here, you have X, Y, Z & off you go to self-tour. That is, DIY tour with van ride included.

The tour guide was really nice and made the experience even better, they were on time for pick up and drop offs after the excursion. The spots were amazing and the food was great, we did some shopping at the different places and it wasn’t expensive, very good price and quality. I would definitely recommend this activity
Fantastic scenery & my favourite part of our trip to Argentina. Fabio is a bit full on but entertaining and knowledgeable.
Outstanding tour with beautiful scenery. Tour guide was great getting us the best places for photos and ample opportunity to enjoy!
We loved this tour, Fabio was so full of energy and knowledge and was very funny too. We did the add-on side trip to the 14 Hornocal 14 colour mountains which was a real highlight though an additional cost. Llama lunch with potatoes cooked by Fabio was good. I took a crazy number of photos. It was a long day (12 hours) but we didn't get bored.
We were promised an English speaking guide but did not get one. I'm sure the Spanish speakers had a good tour because she would speak for about 5 minutes in Spanish and then say 1 or 2 sentences in broken English. We actually had other tourists on the tour trying to translate for her. When we had paid for an English speaking tour this was not ok. Also the company did not warn us about Carnival - we were stuck in traffic for 7 Hours and they decided to skip the first few stops to save time, so our first stop was a restaurant in humahuaca that they clearly get commission for bringing tourists to (there are many nicer restaurants in town). All of the main sights in the towns we visited were closed due to carnival and there were crowds roaming the streets spraying people with paint and shaving foam - had not prepared for this as we were not warned. Really, they should not have run the tour on this day, or at least informed customers that there would be disruptions so that we can make an informed decision
Grubby old transport with very poor sound system. We were furst to be collected at 7.25. We finally left Salta 8am. Very basic info from guide about geology. Music blaring. Presumably for the driver. Tourists desteve better. Such as TIAMAR. Clean new vehicles and very knowledgeable guide.
While the guide was friendly, there was nothing else positive about this tour. We only realised that the tour was so bad as we did part of it on another 2 days later. It had multiple issues which included: 1) Being 25 mins late to pick us up and we were the first ones 2) Circling the town trying to find other passengers for 35mins. We left Salta after 8am 3) The guide and driver were scruffy in appearance as was the vehicle which had stains and food crumbs on seats. 4) There was little relevant information at the start of the journey and the mic did not help. We did the same journey to Volcan and Purmamarca with another company (Tiamar EVT) where there was so much valuable information provided in a clear and engaging way. 5) We had unnecessarily long and pointless shopping, rest and refreshment stops. 6) We spent 13 hours driving to spend just over 2 hours sightseeing. 7) There were no stop offs at key viewpoints 8) We had to buy an extra tour of the 14 colour hills for 30.000 each or it would have just been a long uncomfortable bus ride to tourist-centred villages with little authentic culture or attraction.
We had a wonderful tour from Salta to Humahuaca with Miguel and Daniela. Miguel and Daniela know the history and the sights. We also had the best experience visiting the local markets and restaurants where we tasted the local typical dishes. Miguel is a very safe and conscientious driver. It was a long and interesting day in a good company.
Recently had a day tour into the mountains with Raul and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were sent a WhatsApp message the night before confirming our pick up time although would have been better to have a shorter pick up slot (40 minutes is a big pick up slot for a tour). We were picked up in a minibus which was comfortable enough (luckily my husband sat in the seat near the door with lots of leg room). The bus had air conditioning which was a bonus. We were the only English speakers on the tour but Raul tried really hard to keep us informed on what we were seeing on the tour. His English was good. Regarding the itinerary, we were first to be picked up and spent the next hour picking everyone else up. It was probably about 3 hours before our first stop to use the bathroom, grab a coffee etc. We really enjoyed the towns we visited but would have liked an extra 30 minutes in Purmamarca and less time in Humahuaca. The lunch place recommended by Raul wasn’t great and we felt expensive for the quality of food offered. Also they charged a 20% fee for paying by credit card. We wish we’d gone and found somewhere in the town as there were a few restaurants to choose from. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the towns were all very quaint and whilst the trip was long (circa 13 hours), we felt it was worth it for the money paid. Thanks for a great day.
Humahuaca, Purmamarca and Tilcara are all very beautiful towns and worth a visit. The landscape along the route was beautiful. Our guide Leo was friendly and funny. The tour was supposed to be an English tour but was mostly Spanish speakers, so about 80% of the communication was Spanish. The only real issue I had was the day was way too long. I was told 11 - 12 hours, but our tour from pick-up to drop-off was over 14 hours, with one meal. The primary reason was several members who consistently didn't move with the tour or come back on time and we all sat around and waited for them for hours. If the tour was a little shorter 10 - 11 hours, it would have been 5 stars.
Too short to stay in the towns, only 20-30min , mainly for the shopping and optional, almost no time to walk around the towns.
Gorgeous scenery, and our guide Leo was lots of fun. So the trip was fine. But the company missed an opportunity to have a guide that can discuss the history of the area. There was so much time on the bus and it could have been used to give us more information about where we were and what we were seeing. My guide on a different trip was full of fantastic info and we learned so much. The lunch spot was terrible: I recommend going off on your own to a nearby place.
Although this is a VERY long day , it was good. The guide went out of his way to keep us informed and engaged, and was very helpful at each destination. Eg when in Pumacara we just wanted coffee and a stroll and he was very accommodating re informing us of when the bus was due to leave etc. And the sites are fabulous. I hadn’t realised we would TFr to a 4x4 for the drive up to Hornocal, which was amazing. The driver was great, and the views …… wow! A long but very good day. 4 days later, when sat in Salta having a drink, our guide spotted us and introduced us to his wife. A really good friendly service.
Beautiful excursion with detailed explanations of the places visited, history and traditional foods
Beautiful trip and good attention from the guide
All very beautiful from the driver to the same comrades without words all perfect
A beautiful, excellent, very good experience the Fabio guide of the tour with Quebrada tours, the North very prepared for tourism
Excellent trip. First-rate guides .transfers with clean mics. in some places should stop a little longer
Very good the excursion and the attitude of the guide Fabio, very attentive and made everything very enjoyable. The fantastic places.
Punctual staff, careful driver at the wheel, attentive and polite guide. Great experience in Salta.
Beautiful experience to tour the ravine in a day! We went with little time and this excursion was wonderful. The coordinators Facundo and Trini super attentive! I recommend 100%
Interesting tour with basic explanations. Great natural beauty that we must know. Very good chauffeur and guide predisposition. I recommend taking this excursion
We did the Quebrada tour of Pumamarca, the very friendly Victor guide told us every detail of the historical places. The combi super comfortable. I recommend the agency very good experience
The visit to those places was excellent the landscape conveys only incomparable natural beauty our guide XIMENA charming her excellent explanations and the person who drove MARIO impeccable a long excursion but WORTH it must-see places, WE TRIED all the magical herbs of the place
Excursion chosen as the only option to visit Purmamarca and Humahuaca if you don't have your own vehicle departing from Salta. We were able to see absolutely remarkable landscapes and enjoyed the stage of Humahuaca, very exotic. You should know that this one excursion is very long, and at a steady pace, we left around 07:30 and returned around 19:00. Very tiring because in an aging minibus, noisy and not comfortable while the roads are not in very good condition. Our guide (Fabio) also drove, he was friendly but because of the noise in the minibus we had trouble hearing his comments (in English), we would have preferred to have a guide who was not a driver and could focus on his explanations. In summary we do not regret having made this excursion considering what we saw in relation to the time we had in Salta but would have preferred it to be in better conditions with a good vehicle. Ideally to do again with a stage on the course.
Recomiendo!
We toured the Humahuaca ravine, which took advantage of every moment of the trip. An unforgettable experience. marvel at the landscapes! The guide Victor, super attentive, funny.... I recommend!
Excellent service contracted. Punctuality and professionalism. Besides being much better priced than other agencies (same excursion lower price). Luis, your driver and guide, friendly always pending and predisposed. If you are traveling to Salta and looking to get to know each other, La Quebrada Turismo is definitely the best option.
It was very good and especially the guide is excellent, friendly, friendly, behaved in every way with efficiency and effectiveness, showed to know what makes
A very disappointing tour where stops are very commercialized to sell us extremely expensive Arte Guanico products. Very little cultural interest. Guide a disaster. Makes us some comments from some places at the microphone on the bus without ever accompanying us during stops or it seems more important. And at the end of the day makes it possible to make comments about its foreign customers and smells. A shame. It is better to rent a car and go around or at least you have the freedom to stop for as long as you wish and in places of greater interest.
The excursion is good and the landscapes very beautiful. I would have liked maybe a little guide on how to make the most of the day in the villages as they gave us the free time but did not advise us on what to do. Me too. It was uncomfortable the gua de Humahuaca because the truth did not contribute anything to the visit, took us to the runs after eating at a place where they sold ruanas and wool things and then asked us for tips. Which we weren't aware of. It's not a question of silverware, but we paid a tip for something that didn't give us anything. The hired guide also asked us for a tip at the end of the tour and that also dislocated us, as we paid for a guided tour. In conclusion, I understand that times are pressing but the drivers drive too fast and gender a little insecurity.
Really Wonderful the company complied with the indicated in time and form .Recommendable Really the excursion is beautiful the very nice visiting places.
Excelente Hernán el guía! Todo tal cual lo pactado! Lo pasé espectacular! Maravillosa Pumamarca. Muchas gracias. 100% recomendado.
Good tour to meet and make Shopping of crafts, coat, ceramics and colorful flame teddies. Guide Leo was very friendly.
Beautiful and imposing landscapes of our NOA, an excursion through the typical colorful landscapes of Jujuy. We also went to Hornocal by van from Humahuaca. I had a bitter taste for the lack of explanation from the guide, Leo, as he told us very little about the landscape and history of the region. We came from previous excursions with Guides Arthur, Victor, Benicio and Lorraine who told us everything from geology to the history of the place and also the ancestral inhabitants of the lands, and I expected something similar on this excursion. The guide spoke little and nothing during the trip. Luckily we had the opportunity to go back down that route when we went to Salinas and Lorena told us everything we lacked. We did not stop in Huacalera or Tumbaya as the tour offered Nevertheless it is one of the most beautiful excursions to Jujuy due to the beauty of the landscape
We traveled in a comfortable minibus. The driver/guide handled it very well. The only thing I would change is that they would have to go with a guide because it is difficult to handle and explain. Despite that, he did very well!!
El cerro 7 colores alucinante. La pasamos genial. Gracias Victor por tu buena onda. Es una experiencia para vivir. Todo muy lindo.
We went on the Humahuaca and Beyond excursion, we loved all the scenery and food, the experience with the travel agency was excellent. The tour guide Andrés is very cool. A recommendation, the time in Humahuaca would be good if it were 30 minutes longer, it is little time to visit so many places
Overall the journey was very very long, sometimes endless, especially at the end of the trip. We make a first stop, then a second stop, etc., at a place where there are still gifts, souvenirs....The guide asked us for 20k Argentinian money for each person to be able to see the color montage in a 4X4. Then going towards the mount, we came across many other excursions that go up to the viewpoint, we wonder why our bus doesn't do the same thing?. Above all, 3.5 hours of driving for 15 minutes of walking, I think it was ridiculous. Then, again and again commercial visits and commercial activities... What I felt from this visit is that the guide was a little insistent on the commercial side, in each place you have to take out tunes,... It really broke the charm of the visit. I do not recommend this excursion, it should be completely avoided. Compared to an excursion the next day to Cafayate, it was 10 times better, the guide was excellent and the trip was much more reasonable without having to spend 20k more.
Good excursion only that the paradores can be very improved It's a shame that it doesn't have an espresso machine and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. There is no paper in the bathrooms either.
The guide and driver Guillermo, a genius, gave him all the cool, despite the mishaps that arise when it is in the rainy season.
