Itinerary
Visit to the wine center of the province, crossing La Quebrada de Las Conchas. Route: National Route 68 (Wine Route); Lerma Valley (Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, La Viña (technical stop)
Erosion in the region has formed a succession of natural wonders such as the Devil's Throat, a deep and closed canyon. The Amphitheater (with perfect natural acoustics). The Toad, The Friar, The Obelisk, The Castles. Gradually, the aridity of the landscape is replaced by large tracts of vineyards until you reach one of the most outstanding regions within the Calchaquíes Valleys: Cafayate, a village of single-storey houses between colonial and baroque of the late 19th century. Quebrada de las Conchas: More than 10 stops in multicolored formations caused by the erosion of wind and water such as The Devil's Throat, The Amphitheater, La Yesera, Las Ventanas, Los Castillos, etc.
In Cafayate you will have the opportunity to visit a winery and taste the best wines in the area. Although the region always refers to Torrontés, the place has a lot of hectares dedicated to red grapes such as Malbec, Tannat or Cabernet Sauvignon.
Visit the city of Cafayate and a winery. We will have 2 free hours in the city to have lunch and explore. Village of single-storey houses between colonial and baroque architecture of the late 19th century. (Lunch and drinks are NOT included in the price)
We returned to Salta along the Quebrada de las Conchas along Route 68, making the stops we missed on the outbound journey and touring this beautiful and unique landscape of Argentina.
Before arriving in the city of Salta we make a technical stop in La Viña or Talapampa to buy a snack or go to the bathroom.

Our guide Jes was great she explained everything in a lot of detail in both Spanish and English, the views were breathtaking. However the bus did not have a functioning AC which made the trip unbearable, we also couldn't open all the windows so the temperature inside and the lack of air was horrid. Personally I also didn't care for the stop in the winery the guide there did her best to explain things in English but it wasn't very good. I understand Spanish and I booked this tour for the Quebrada so it didn't matter to me but if you are interested in that part be aware they don't really speak English.
Tour is great, the Canyon is beautiful and wineries on the other side is interesting as well Tour is done with care, pick up on time. All information is equally in Spanish and English, and the guide takes care so everyone feels good. Van was comfortable, seats had head support The drive is quite long, but road and driver is good. We left salta around 8 and returned around 7-9 as well
Terrible experience on the Tour to Cafayate with Quebrada Turismo which I booked with Getyourguide. Terrible communication with the company. They kept me waiting almost an hour for the pickup. When I informed the guide (Martín) that they had been delayed for a long time, he told me that he is only the guide, that the complaints go to getyourguide or Quebrada Turismo. Martín got all rude because I had complained about the delay in picking up. The visit to the winery is only in Spanish so for those who speak only English it is not worth doing it. The tour doesn't stop in all the viewing points mentioned (only in 4 of them). You just drive and see them as you pass The tour guide Martín was sitting adelites in the van reading the "script" only what we were seeing, little interaction with us. In short, terrible professionalism of the guide Martín and the Quebrada Turismo company
Great tour of the mountains, a village and winery. The guides Fabio and Carolina were welcoming and knowledgeable.
Very much enjoyed the day - Fabio was GREAT! made a point of making everyone feel welcome - even got up at the lunch spot to get our meals for us - full of humour and enthusiasm ! Really enjoyed the lunch and the music!!!
This tour was visually breathtaking and the stops were good choices for beauty and photos. What I didn’t like was that the microphone on the bus was bad and made it nearly impossible to understand what the guide was saying. Also, the recommended place that was declared as a cheap and delicious place was mediocre and overpriced. The fact that the staff did not eat there should have been a red flag. Makes me think they get commission. Definitely eat elsewhere.
They should be aware that the tour combined both Spanish and English even though I selected English I was grouped with Spanish group. It ends up the information from the guide was heavily focus to serve Spanish more than English. The explanation for English was short and Spanish was much longer in details.
Great tour to Cafayate and the Quebrada, the guide was very knowledgeable and fun to listen to, the tour was well organised and, despite a minor setback, very enjoyable. I definitively recommend.
Didn't feel rushed but visited some really unique places - a must when in Salta! Our guide Ximena was cheerful and helpful, she did her best to include everyone and provided all information in both English and Spanish.
I loved the views. They were incredible! The driver was a great person! He explained everything to us!! I had a great time with my daughters.
Great tour! We stopped at many points to take pictures of amazing nature, Vanesa the tour guide spoke great English and Spanish and my partner and I were able to understand everything. The driver Raul was very polite and funny, while also being a careful driver. Recommended!!!
it was a great tour. I met so many nice people on the tour. The Guide is well informed and knows about the area. And the Driver is also super helpful. It's a long day. but it totally worth it.
This should NOT be advertised as an English tour. Angie was very kind, enthusiastic, and knowledgable, but she spoke almost exclusively in Spanish. She did give a private, short summary translation to me and the one other English speaker on the tour, but it was extremely limited (5-10 minutes of English after she had spoken to the group for 35+ minutes in Spanish). It just made me feel very excluded and isolated. (The tours I had been on the prior two days had guides who alternated between Spanish and English the entire time so that no one was ignored.) The Cafayate winery tour and tasting, supposedly the highlight of the trip, was 100% in Spanish (by the winery staff). Angie spoke English to me for <2 minutes at the end just to explain the wines available for purchase. The scenery and rock formations were very pretty, the tour was fairly inexpensive, and I did enjoy her playing the musical instrument and sharing her red cape for photos. Overall, though, I felt invisible the entire time and got very little from the commentary.
The excursion was very beautiful for us, the landscapes are incredible, honestly we were super happy. They picked us up at the door of our accommodation and on the way back they dropped us all off as close as possible too, so that was great.
Dreamy landscapes, incredible colors... everything seems to be straight out of a story. Very good driver Victor and amazing guide, Vanesa.
Highly recommended! Very well organized, and the guide was very kind and attentive, explaining everything very clearly. It is an excursion that is worth it.
Very nice places to visit. It's worth it...
Great tour, prudent and informative guide
Carolina was a great guide, picked the stops very well, transmitted a lot of information about the places with a slow speech that helps the Brazilians to understand
Stunning landscapes with Our exceptional Fabio guide. He created a very cordial atmosphere and shared his personal knowledge and experiences. Congratulations to him.
We LOVED it! Our guide, Jess, was LOVELY from start to finish. The information she gave us (both in Spanish and English) was very interesting...it is obvious that she has great historical and cultural knowledge! Important thing: we felt safe thanks to the talent of the driver, Daniel... because the road is particularly winding and there are sometimes obstacles on the road!
An unforgettable tour...with impressive landscapes, all according to the information, really is a tour that will stay marked in memory. Salta is really perfect, I hope to be able to return soon to continue exploring this beautiful province!!!
Me encantoooo!!!
The excellent experience; I was picked up in the agreed time and had an excellent day touring Cafayate, a vineyard and the route that has a fantastic route
FANTASTIC!!!!! ⭐️🤩 the guide the driver and the itinerary a 10! The perfect times we had super!
We left and after an hour the bus stopped, due to engine failure. We had to wait three hours for a backup bus to arrive. We then made the stages nice program quickly and with the waning light of the afternoon. I advise against this agency.
Compared to other tours, this was my favorite, I recommend it 100%. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the friendliness of the driver and guide (which unfortunately I forgot its name) were key points in making my experience the best. The guide did not focus only on the geographical content of the place, but added the history of the peoples, customs and visible with names and experiences. He spoke to us almost the entire tour and generated very pleasant dynamics among the participants. Another highlight is that we were never promoted to spend (as in other tours that promote tourists to buy everything) and despite that, it was the exit where I wanted to invest the most, probably because they explained what we bought, where it came from, etc. The guide was close to each person where we stopped and that also made the experience different. Probably go back to Salta/Jujuy and book another tour of this agency!
An excursion with beautiful landscapes our Fabio guide who creates cohesion with his joy and good humor and a photo stop with memorable llamas Recommended!
Combi: The air conditioning was not working, the floor was broken with a rubber carpet, it was dirty smelling stale, the driver drove very hard without being cautious on the curves of the road. Guide: very good, knew a lot and did simultaneous translation from Spanish/English perfectly. One passenger broke down and there was no first aid kit, the person was assisted by the rest of the group as both the guide and the driver did not know how to do it.
The staff was punctual when picking us up at the hotel. The safe and comfortable vehicle, the attentive guide. It was a great experience.
Excellent excursion, guide and driver very professional, friendly and very careful with the tourist , are instructed in all subjects inherent to the route, history , geography, fauna and flora, unforgettable!!
All right and Victor the driver/guide does a great job. Give lots of information and take care of the whole group
Tudo muito bem organizado! As paisagens são lindas, tudo é encantador! O tempo das paradas para as fotos são ideias, o guia que nos levou, Raul, foi informando sobre os locais e é muito animado!!
The amazing landscape! The kindness, warmth and sympathy of our guide Fabio are to highlight. Beautiful experience!
Beautiful tour, the views are amazing. Driver and guide Fabio a 10 !! Thank you for having an excellent time super recommended
