The good thing is that the concierge was super helpful with organising trips. The bad starts with the hotel itself. I think it may be the oldest in the Marriott chain. It looks like it was built in the 70s and nothing's happened since. I appreciate the challenges of investing in Argentina but there are now many nice boutique hotels in Salta, which might explain why they were full and this one mostly empty. For Bonvoy members seeking points only. Second, the management thought it was a good idea to allow an event with loud music from 4pm to 11pm at the pool, which all the rooms face. A complaint got a promise to turn the music down and to end at 10. That didn't happen so it took another visit to the lobby to get the staff to finally do something about it.
What a pleasure to feel so welcomed and deal with a great staff, the best staff of the Argentinian Northwest (and I've been to all of them). Héctor, Fernanda and Abigail shine in that matter. The whole stay was superb! The room had a gorgeous view but the bed wasn't King size as per requested and it was a common queen very uncomfortable, sadly. Same with the pillows. Overall, the best Sheraton around the up North of Argentina, thank you to the staff and congrats!!
Arrival was okay .The room is big and bright. Comfortable bed and very clean. Personal very friendly and professional. To mention here at breakfast Lizzy and at the Bar Cristian made us feel very welcomed. Location good as you can walk almost everything in Downtown Salta. We come back for sure.
We stayed here for one night yesterday. The service, location and rooms were fantastic. We can’t remember the name of the porter, but he was so friendly and helpful even though he knew we didn’t have cash for a tip. The reception staff were also very friendly.
