From Salerno: Small Group Amalfi Coast Boat Tour With Stops In Positano & Amalfi

There is no question that visiting the Amalfi coast in a small boat with a small group of people is by far the best way to experience this beautiful and historic place. Our tour from Salerno, which included stops in Amalfi and Positano, was definitely a highlight of our recent trip to Italy. Our guide, Enrica (sp?), grew up on this coastline and provided lots of interesting information about the picturesque landscape and villages. Norris, our captain, expertly piloted the 9-meter boat along the coast and into the harbors while ensuring everyone on board had a good view. We highly recommend this small group tour to anyone who wants to see the Amalfi coast up close in a relaxing way.

Lovely full day boat trip along the Amalfi coast. It is steps from the cruise ship docks so it’s very easy to find. Eli and Elian were terrific. Highly recommend!!

Field operators were very good and we enjoyed the experience. Our original trip was scheduled the day before and was canceled for "weather". There wasnot any weather that day and none was predicted. The day we had our boat ride, it rained hard in the hour before the ride. We walked in the rain for 30 minutes.

What an incredible day and experience! My family and I had the BEST time! Captain Anna and Elle were fabulous! We couldn't have asked for a better day. Both Anna and Elle were so friendly (felt like family), they were professional and explained all the important and beautiful sites to us! We were given a snack and some champagne- even a surprise of limoncello at the end! I wish I could give them 1000 stars! My family and I made wonderful memories and took amazing pictures!

Enrica and Noris Was a great captain of the boat taking us places larger boats could not go and made the trip so memorable!! Enrica was a personable and knowledgeable guide to where ever we were about to visit - the were a fun hosts and worked well together!! I would highly recommend this trip

On board, Alexandra was an amazing hostess. She was incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable. She was great with our kids and super fun. John Paul did a great job navigating and getting us to and from each stop. The boat tour took us to stunning settings. We really enjoyed each port and will definitely be back. This tour was the highlight of our cruise. Eliana and the captain were amazing and informative. Definitely a must do.

Viator used a a booking agency who then booked it with Blu Mediterranean. The communication was terrible on where to meet. All the other people in the group that booked directly with Blu Mediterranean knew what dock to go to while Viator’s agency only listed ferry terminal as a meeting point. The tour was fantastic though.

Unfortunately our experience was cut very short due to severe rain and wind but what we were able to see, the layout of the boat matching what was expected and their emphasis on safety makes us very happy we booked with them.

Blu Mediterranean is legit with a standard fleet of boats. Weather got bad but our captain and escort were terrific and handled everything well. Highly recommend.

Small group experience along the beautiful coast between Salerno and Amalfi. The weather was not the best but the crew really made it worthwhile with several stops and photo opportunities

We had a great time on this tour. Our tour operator Julia was very knowledgable of the area and you could tell she really enjoyed her job. The stops were great and the water was amazing. We only wish we had more time at each of the stops.

This was the first excursion we booked for our honeymoon and we are so happy we did! The whole day was amazing and we felt so lucky to have Norris and Delilah, they were awesome and SO knowledgeable. We learned a lot, saw some beautiful views, and hit some great swimming spots. The whole day was perfectly paced and we got to see everything we wanted to on this trip. It was a wonderful day! 6 adults. Alessandra and Capt Jerry were great. Alessandra gave us interesting information on the places we passed by, served snacks and gave us info on quick things to see or eat in Positano and Amalfi. It was a beautiful day! Gorgeous views! And great staff.

This was a wonderful day and probably our favorite excursion of the trip. It was worth the money. We loved our hostess Anna. She was very knowledgeable and the tour of the coast line of Amalfii was spectacular. It was fun to be able to shop and see the towns of Amalfi and Positano. Great tour!!

Highly, highly recommend this trip and this company. Being on the water is the best way to see the coast and on a smaller ship like this allows being closer to shore, which is a much better experience than being further out to sea. Also the smaller ship provides a more intimate experience and interaction with the crew. Eli (Eliana) was the sweetest, most amazing host. She has the best personality, making everyone feel special. She was very knowledgeable on the area and gave great advice. Can’t sing enough praises about her. We all would have loved to keep hanging out with her even after the trip was over. And our captain, Norris, had such great command of the ship. It was amazing to watch how easily he could maneuver the boat. We just had such a fantastic time. It was the highlight of our Amalfi stay.

Excellent day! We had Enrika and Elia. We didn’t have to go far from the NCL cruise terminal. They were easy to find. We were a party of 9 with 4 other guests, and we still had plenty of room. Enrika is from the area and was very knowledgeable. The snacks, prosecco and special surprise were wonderful. Just know that there is a 5 euro cost per person to ride the water taxi to the dock in Positano. We decided to go to Amalfi and Positano first and then have a longer swim time at one location near Positano. Go ahead and book this excursion. The Amalfi coast is waiting!

This is a great way for a family to view the Amalfi Coast. You take a slow trip where you can see every town. Our guide Anna provided information on all historical location’s. You then get to walk through two towns and also have a swim which everyone enjoyed. Then head home along the coast before returning to port. We were on a cruise ship that this worked really well with our timing. Would definitely do again. Better than travelling by road.

This is a very good way to see the Amalfi coast and Positano Avoid traffic in buses and enjoy a leisurely day seeing beautiful scenery

Pretty much a perfect day. The weather was great, the pace was just right. The crew had every detail covered. Gian Carlo was a great captain and Laura was helpful and informative. With a small group it was so relaxing.

It was a beautiful day out on the Amalfi Coast. The location is ideal for cruise ship passengers, right through the terminal and easy to find. Our fellow guests were pleasant. The boat is in good shape and we felt like we were in capable hands with our captain. Noemi was our hostess and she was fantastic! We were well taken care of with drinks and snacks and bits of information about what we were seeing and experiencing. Swimming was lovely and snorkel masks and noodles were provided during our 3 stops. Tips to know going in. The entry/exit of the boat are not for the mobility challenged. My mom was with us and had some difficulty getting in and out because she has a bad knee. Therefore, she ended up staying in the boat the whole day, rather than trying to see the 2 stops or swimming. She couldn’t use the bathroom either because it was separated steps down to use it. It made for an uncomfortable day for her. Also, while there is a canopy, it doesn’t actually provide full coverage and so you are you in the sun quite a bit. Still, a wonderful day if you prepare for it. I would highly recommend if you are physically able and enjoy laying out in the sun!

We had the most incredible day touring the Amalfi Coast. The tour was well organized and everything happened just as they said it would. The initial meeting and check-in, was smooth and so was the water! What a great day. The guides were fun and engaging and our captain was incredible! He navigated some tight spaces and took us deep into the caves. So much fun! Would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

I booked this for myself and 6 other family members, we were disappointed in the fact we had to pay for our own alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, also for towels! the snacks they provided were a joke, had we known we would’ve been more prepared and brought our own snacks and beverages? we were taken to a couple of different areas to swim. They were both very crowded with other boats. And our so called tour guide was very hard to understand and hear, she should have worn a microphone so that we could’ve heard what she was saying about what we were seeing. I was very disappointed, I have used Viator many times to book excursions in Europe, and this one was very disappointing.

Beautiful, relaxing way to see the entire coast with 1-hour stops in Amalfi and Positano, giving you enough time to experience both cities without having to stay there and mess with the overcrowdedness or having to take windy bus rides along the coast. Aurora and Roberto were wonderful guides for the day!

Fantastic day on the water. The swim was great - best part for me!! The stops in Amalfi were short but good. An hour goes by pretty quick. The scenery was incredible.

Ellie was an incredible hostess! We had a great trip this was a perfect excursion for cruise passengers trying to see the amalfi coast. DO NOT do this tour if you have mobility issues or don’t think you can get in and out or off and on multiple boats.

This tour is a MUST if you've never seen the Amalfi Coast before! Our tour was on August 24 & it was a HOT day so we were thankful not to be stuck in traffic. We boarded a lovely speed boat from Salerno & taken to the towns of Amalfi &Positano for 1 hour visits. Lovely towns, but crowded & HOT, we were so happy to get back on the boat! We also had 2 stops where we anchored & went swimming. It was so beautiful seeing the towns from the ocean, views you just cannot get from the roads, highly recommend!

Amazing experience from start to end. Massimo and Ellie were the best!!!! We got back onto our cruise ship in time and got to see the entire Amalfi coast with two town stops and two swimming stops. we had snacks and drinks and some surprises as well! Our favorite day of the whole vacation so far this one is a must do!

We highly recommend this for any cruise guest or traveler in Salerno. It was easy to find the meeting point for check in (2-3 min walk from cruise port). Prepare for a full-day of touring the Amalfi Coast by boat with 1-hour long stops in both Amalfi and Positano, and 2 opportunities to swim. What a phenomenal day! Laola and Jerry were professional and kind. Small tip: the tour includes a few snacks but you’ll need to grab lunch in Amalfi or Positano since it’s a 7-hour day in the sun. I appreciate the small group size as well.

We had the most amazing and magical trip with Blu Mediterraneo in the Almafai Coast. There was 8 in our party (79 years to 14) and two other sets of couples. Elia as our Captain and Enrica as our second mate were awesome. They were informative, helpful, played good music, told us what was next, and adjusted to allow us a little more swimming time. Literally a magical day. Just book it you will be pleased and everyone loved it all ages.

Amazing day with our Captain Nello and hostess Ellie, so kind and helpful for the non-swimmers in our group. We saw so much in one day, would definitely recommend.
