I think 5 star reviews should be unusual, but the service, the old world atmosphere with modern amenities, and the location a Would be tough to beat. Angelo was very kind, our room was an amazing collection of antique furnishings yet somehow still comfortable, and our balcony was the perfect place to watch the city come alive in the morning. Would stay again.

The kitchen is nice, but book it only if you want to stay in the kitchen; don't choose the rest. We requested separate beds and wrote it down, but they still gave us double beds. The toilet and bathroom are outside; you have to go outside to use the toilet and shower. Look for another place!
Our three-night stay at Casa Santangelo Suites was an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. The room was excellent—beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable—providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring Salerno. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, as the spread was delicious and high-quality, but what truly set the stay apart was our host’s exceptional hospitality. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcome, and every detail of the service was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this suite to anyone looking for a perfect stay.
Fantastic!! This is where I will stay with my family from now on when visiting Salerno. Great people. Great restaurants. And everyone was so polite. This is my favorite B&B to stay. Breakfast was perfect. Fruit was amazing. And the host was so helpful. I stay in many hotels and B&B in Italy. This place is one of my Top 3!
Overall this was a great, memorable stay in the heart of the historic center of Salerno. Angelo was a gracious host that quickly resolved the only issue we ran into with the suite (faulty shower-head) such that it was a distant memory by the time we left. It is a historic space that was enjoyable to spend time in, and it really stands out from any places you might stay when you travel. I would recommend this stay for anyone with a fondness for history and unique interiors. Breakfast was nice to have but, in its simplicity, did not match the majesty of the building. The delicious baked cakes definitely made up for it though! Important note: this is more of a bed-and-breakfast experience than a hotel experience, so plan your trip accordingly (it wasn't obvious to me but maybe I overlooked something).
