La Carbonera Tour

We found the offer for a tour at the Carbonera Valley once arrived at our hostel, we signed up as friends recommended it and could have not been happier. The valley itself is stunning, it takes a while to get there but the trip in willies was fun and we stopped to check out few lookout points. Our guide (Clemente) was super nice and told us so many things about the valley, plants and animals, all fascinating. Lunch was also very good. Overall, totally recommended and would do it again 100%!

We had two days with us to our company. First day, we did a hike in the berbas Bremen forest followed by a Coco, Tours and second day. We did a mountain bike ride down the cócora Valley followed by a coffee farm tour. Both tours were extremely well organized, tons of communication and Santiago as well as Jason were both amazing guides on both days. Would highly recommend this company to anyone

I don’t usually leave long reviews but this time I have to make an exception: the Carbonera Reserve tour was far more than tourism and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The day begins at a small farm overlooking the Andean mountains with breathtaking views stretching into the clouds. There, we listened to the story of this land (the origin of the ancient trail that crosses it, the challenges of reforestation ...) and each of us planted a palm. This shifts your perspective and quietly prepares you for what comes next: the Carbonera Reserve. This place is pure magic. It felt like stepping into something fragile and precious. There is a rare stillness and peace there, a scale and beauty that have struck me like in very few other places in the world. 5to Elemento’s organization is thoughtful yet warm. You can feel the care and sensitivity behind everything. It’s not just a guided tour: they help you understand where you are and why, and for whom, the places you are in matter. I can’t put this day into a single word. What I can say is that, three days later, I’m surprised by how much I miss those landscapes and how something of them is still unfolding within me. Endless thanks to Marcela and Clément for sharing, with such passion, the stories and roots of this land, theirs by birth or by choice. I will be back very soon. Claudia from Italy

We spent a great day with Clement and Marcela exploring the Carbonera and surrounding areas. Marcela was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and fun to hang out with (especially as a DJ for the dancing in the jeep ;) ) La Carbonera is stunning and you need an organised tour to enter and visit. We highly recommend the experience.

The tour to Carbonera was amazing! Carbonera is a highly underrated place, I think it’s better that Cocora. Would definitely recommend doing a tour with 5to Elemento. Our tour guide, Santiago, explained everything very well.

We visited with a small group from the hostel Carbonera palm forest. The trip was stunning and the whole organization of Marcela was an incredible experience into natural landscapes that you ve never seen before. Both the palm tree planting experience and the carbonera valley hiking were of a great duration, in non turistic pla and the choice for lunch was also the best traditional colombian meal we ve had in our trip. Great spirits, great views... a must do experience!

I loved the experience at La Carbonera. It’s super peaceful, with tons of wax palms and amazing views. Way less touristy than Cocora Valley, so it feels more natural and real. The jeep ride was also a lot of fun. Totally recommend it if you’re into nature and want something different!

We went on a guided tour to the Carbonera valley, and had a great time with our guide. Who took the time to explain everything about the local fauna , and history. I would definitely recommend them anytime

The landscapes, activities and atmosphere made the day unforgettable. I want to highlight Sol, our guide: a very professional, friendly and friendly person, who was able to create a positive climate and make everything flow naturally. It certainly made a difference to our experience. Although I couldn’t use the drone, I managed to capture a lot of footage in photos and videos, which shows how inspiring the tour was. I recommend this experience 100% to anyone thinking of doing this tour. Thanks for everything!

A great experience for our first day in Salento. Beautiful landscapes and views, in good company with a great group and a guide who knows the environment like no one else and always making the trip enjoyable. I highly recommend it and Sole as a guide!

It was a unique experience. I was in the coconut grove, I've done the full tour. A professional agency. The excellent and flexible snack with everyone's tastes. In addition, the guide that accompanied us made us connect with the origins of this valley and each of the stories, myths of this coffee land. I recommend this agency, they give you much more than what was agreed in the package. A very beautiful experience to know La Carbonera. It was my second tour at this place and I highly recommend it. I learned about wax palms, about their conservation and the importance they have. In the end you have the possibility of planting a baby palm and that I think is something different from other tours I have seen. Thanks to the guide and drivers of the Jeep for the experience 🤗🩷

One of the best excursions I've ever taken to Salento. The Carbonera is beautiful and the panoramas are really amazing. We were able to plant our own palm tree. Guide Marcela was great. In addition to the visit to the finca (comment already left), we did a day at the Carbonera with this small Enterprise. Everything was perfect. The landscapes are breathtaking. We had the opportunity to plant a wax palm tree thanks to the help of a passionate young French who has settled there and is doing a remarkable job. The guide Marcela is fabulous... we recommend this excursion 200%! wonderful memories full of heads! thanks to Marcela, Clement and Victor (our excellent driver) who do a great job...
