Had an amazing time with Pedro! He was so fun and welcoming and adjusted to what we wanted to do. It is a long tour but with lots of variety and so many amazing sights and experiences. It was so beautiful seeing the Cocora Valley that my boyfriend decided to propose there and Pedro was so kind and patient with the impromptu event. We started this tour a bit late and I would recommend picking an earlier time for more ease but even though we got back to Salento city late Pedro still gave us the history and brought us to an amazing empanada place to round out the tour. Again it was so great even though one of our friends had a hiccup on the horse they did all they could to help him feel comfortable to continue. Highly recommend!

The tour was sooooo good today! Amazing that Mairizio suggested to go earlier than booked. So we had bearly no people on the Tour. We were verry happy about it. Mairizio was a verry funny and interesting gide. Also de Horsebackrodong was an amazong experience. We‘ll do it again 😍
My tour was great. The hike was fun and my guide shared so much information with me. I could tell he really loves his job and enjoys doing these tours. He explained everything well and had answers to all my questions. Whenever I wanted a picture, my guide would take pictures of me. If I didn‘t like them he‘d happily re-do them. He also gave me enough time to enjoy the landscape. After the hike I didn‘t feel well, but my guide took care of me. He suggested we did things a bit slower and go to a pharmacy so I could enjoy the rest of the tour. Then we had lunch and went horse riding. My inexperience with horses wasn’t a problem either, as the horse owner gave me a quick lecture before riding. The owner and my guide were riding along side of me. Whenever I didn’t know how to lead the horse, they would help me. It was pouring, but it didn‘t matter because my guide thought of that too. He knew the chance for rain was high, so we got a rain poncho before the start of the tour and I wore it for the horse riding part. Thanks to the poncho, I didn‘t get wet, although it was raining. Pedro was super kind, considerate, easy going and the best guide I could have asked for. We had a great day and good conversation. I have beautiful memories and pictures of my experience 💯👌🏽 I hope to maybe see him again on another tour sometime as he mentioned he does tours across different cities in Colombia

Amazing tour, Juan was our tour guide. He spoke excellent English, very informative. We went early to Corora Valley which i would recommend to avoid the crowds. The horse riding at the end was a great experience, the horses are well cared for on a small farm and only go out twice a day at the most and only small groups at a time. would highly recommend this tour!

One of my favourite travel experiences ever. The Cocora Valley is well and truly a unique place. The trek ensures you get to see all the best views and my tour guide Mafa was extremely knowledgeable. She was also very cool and the perfect person to spend the day with. The horse riding takes place back in Salento away from the Cocora Valley. At first I was a bit disappointed but I see why they do it now, less tourists getting in the way and a trail where the horses can go a bit quicker. The highlight for me was walking in the river. It was raining very hard and was soaked but I wouldn’t of had it any other way. It all added to the experience. Diego who was in charge of the ride was in control of the horses throughout the ride (I’m a novice). Want to point out you don’t have to get up very early for this either, so even more points given! Thanks Mafa and Diego for an experience I’ll never forget.
We had a great time with Mafe, learning about the cocora valley, palm trees and wilderness and Salento. She was really informative and very knowledgable, we had lots of fun together. The horse riding was also a great afternoon activity and nice change to other tours!

zojuist NIEUW I had an amazing day in the Cocora area. I chose the hike and horseriding excursion. The guide Pedro was a really nice guy. He has a lot of knowledge, not only of the area but give me also some great tips about visiting other areas of Colombia. The owner of the horses was a very friendly man, and the horses looked really well taken care of. Pedro advised me I should visit also a coffee farm that day as we would be close by with the horses. I agreed to extend the excursion for that and I'm very happy I did that! The coffee farm was so interesting. And despite of that I really don't like to drink coffee, I liked the coffee we had there! Thanks for making these great memories. I really recommend to book tours with them.
It was an amazing day ! You have such an unique way to discover and enjoy the beautiful landscape from the horseback 😊 the horses a really healthy and were treating very well , i already have riding experiences , so it was amazing for me to have the chance to run with my horse for a little bit but also for people who have no experience like my friend , it was really nice for her as well . We had an amazing day — from pickup to drop off, we had a nice schedule that wasn’t too rushed but packed in plenty of information and activities. We hiked Corcora and learned about that habitat, then had lunch at a local spot in Salento, before going on a very incredible trail ride through coffee fields. Our guide Pedro/Peter kept up a playful and fun tone as he taught us about Colombia, and our horse guide Diego taught us both about riding Colombian horses. I’m an experienced rider, my husband isn’t, and Diego/Pedro made sure we both had an amazing time suited to our levels.
The tour guide Pedro (Peter) is from Salento and love his job. You can feel the passion for his region, you will learn a lot from him. We had a great experience at cocora valley hiking with him and the horse riding organised by them was wonderful. 10/10 I could give more. Con mucho Gusto!

Pedro is a sensational guide! It was well organized from the beginning. We received a lot of information and were allowed to actively participate in the tour. The horse tour was wonderful and the route unique, walking on horseback through the river, I will never forget this. Pedro manages to go from a guide to a friend. Important tip: make the tours as early as possible.
A great experience. The guide accompanies you well, she is very kind and explains the history on the palm trees, the nature around and also on the village of Salento. We can talk with her (Sarah). And the tour is fine.
The first part is on foot in the valley cocora with spectacular views. Juan our Guide (who is excellent) gave us a lot of explanations on the site. The second part is done on horseback through several varied paths. Horses are well treated I recommend

The horseback riding tour is very nice, you do not need to be an expert riding because horses are docile. The walk to the clclclra valley is spectacular and the views spectacular.
