Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Front desk / concierge tremendous. Parking elite (and charged our EV car overnight). Breakfast great. Facilities top. Amenities in room, glorious. A really special place. Would absolutely stay again.

A truly beautiful boutique hotel in a great location to walk to the main historical locations, shopping and restaurants. All of the staff (Nacho took care of our luggage and parked our car in the garage, Andrea helped us with maps and recommendations, and everyone) were incredibly welcoming. So many treats and details - snacks, slippers, teddy bear - that made us feel special. We (family of 4) stayed in the family room (with two adjoining rooms in a separate private hallway). We had plenty of room including two spacious marble bathrooms. It was a wonderful way to start our vacation after a transatlantic flight and a two hour drive from the MAD airport.

However, I have never encountered such exceptional treatment, comfort, and meticulous attention to detail in providing every necessity for travelers as I did at this remarkable hotel. From its prime location and outstanding service to the immaculate cleanliness and the elegant treatment from all the staff towards the hotel guests, everything exceeded my expectations. I typically don’t write many reviews about hotels, but the exceptional service at this hotel compelled me to share my experience.

Our stay at Hotel Rector in Salamanca was absolutely exceptional. This is truly one of the best 5-star hotels we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They were extremely attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Every request was handled quickly and with great care, and their level of professionalism was outstanding. It’s rare to find such polite and responsive service. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly maintained. Everything—from the rooms to the common areas—reflects comfort, quality, and attention to detail. We highly recommend Hotel Rector to anyone visiting Salamanca. It was a perfect stay, and we would definitely come back again.
