B&b Hotel Salamanca Centro Artheus

This was our 5th hotel of our tour and was the best experience by far. The lobby was very classy and nice. The rooms were roomy and bright. The staff were polite and helpful. The elevators were also very quick, which was helpful when traveling with a large group. The location was excellent as it was within short walking distance to the Cathedral and the shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salamanca.

When we arrived the painting in the bathroom ceiling was coming off ,one internet socket was out . The worst were the mattresses they were very uncomfortable . When we reported the staff had repaired everything the next day and they had chabged the mattresses too. Still from a 4 * hotel I would have expected more . There was no smart TV in the room there is no spa or anything to spend time within the hotel .

Excellent spread for breakfast. Many of the bathrooms have jet spa bathtubs. You’re conveniently located on the north part of historical Salamanca so you do not get kept up at night by the holy week processions, but you are very close to them. You’re also right across the street from the urban gallery. The cleaning crew was great. The only thing that was not so great were the mattresses but most of the mattresses in Spain are harder than they are in the US.

We had a very comfortable stay in Hotel Artheus Carmelitas. The room was cleaned daily. We had the buffet breakfast which had a plentiful selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, yogourt, coffee/tea and more. The front desk staff were very good at communicating with our very limited Spanish. The hotel is in/very near the popular centre.
