We spent 4 days exploring Salalah with Amazing Salalah and I can’t recommend it enough! The tours were seamless with some amazing hidden gems and must see spots. Our guide Hamid was super accommodating and tailored the experience with the guests in mind. Will be back soon!
We had a great experience with this company while exploring Salalah sights. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to others
An amazing day visiting this beautiful part of the world. Hamid and his team took us off the beaten track and this is where their expertise and local knowledge are so important. We saw some stunning sights and had a wonderful picnic on a deserted beach. Unforgettable.
The landscape of the Dhofar region is incredible but you definitely need a local guide to navigate it, and Hamid and his team at Amazing Salalah couldn't have been better. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the region and its people, which really makes a difference, not to mention his impeccable English! His stories really bring to life the history of Dhofar. Can't recommend enough.
I spent three days exploring Salalah’s beaches and absolutely loved it. The turquoise water, soft sand, and calm atmosphere made it the perfect short escape. Watching the sunset at Al Fazayah Beach was unforgettable. The city itself was quiet but full of charm and warm hospitality.
This was day 1 of my Salalah Khareef trip. It was phenomenal. My guide Said met me at my hotel and we set off for Wadi Darbat. I took a covered boat trip. Boats ranged from 2/3 to 5 rial . Absolutely perfect for those insta photos. I still can't quite believe how stunning it is. The greens are florescent!!! It was busy but with my guide we had a wait of about a minute!!! They are very professional and organised here. Excellent for families too as there are horses and millions of food truck choices. People picnic here too and I can see why people stay all day. Next week headed to lunch. Grilled meats and rice. Delicious . We headed up to the summit of Jabel sumhan. Above the clouds. Absolutely breathtaking views. Along the way my guide told stories and anecdotes about living in Salalah . We saw so many camels passing by. It was a phenomenal experience. On the way down we experienced the zero gravity point, caves, a sinkhole, and headed to Taqah castle. The castle had many artefacts and was set out as it would have been. Very interesting experience. I loved to see the photos and every day items. I highly recommend this trip. The guide and company listen carefully and can tailor it to suit your needs. They are attentive throughout and absolutely charming. Don't hesitate....contact them!
It was an amazing trip to salaha the tour guy was calm, funny,a gentleman, and he was kind. The best tour guy I ever met and best trip ever a really deserved 5 stars.
What an amazing trip we had!!! Salalah is BEAUTIFUL! Mr. Hamid was so accommodating and understanding to our itinerary changes. Would definitely use this company again for future trips to Dhofar.
We had a really great time soaking in the natural beauty of East Salalah with Hamid as our guide. Hamid came early to pick up up for the tour. Our first stop was the Sulan Qaboos mosque of Salalah, the we went up the Thaqah cliff overlooking the town and majestic coastline. We had coffee at Darbat cafe overlooking the valley. Even though we missed the khareef season and the waterfalls were almost dry, the view was still breathtaking. Hamdi took us up the Samhan Mountain Peak and we enjoyed a clear wiew of the range and valley underneath. Our trip was also full of interesting detours where Hamid shared his secret hidden gems like the frankensense tree and hidden beach spot. We ended the day watching the sunset while enjoying a sampling of fresh camel milk at a camel farm. Another one of Hamid’s detour which we were grateful for. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a day in Salalah, with memories to last a lifetime. Thanks to Amazing Salalah Tourism. Its five stars!
I visit salalah 10 days ago with my family and friends. I manage two tours before my trip with these guys to west and east of salalah and i had so much worries but now i should say i can't find any better one. Our tour guide speak english fluently so we can understand each other. He was very kind. He has so many knowledge about the sites we visit. All the time he care about us and made our trip great. He did his best for us and i am very happy that i find him before my trip.
we went to salalah today and the visit was the icing on the cake of a wonderful trip. our local guide hamid allowed us to visit places of unique beauty from east to west. camels roaming free, an old pre-Islamic trading city on a hill overlooking a lagoon facing the sea, a lush oasis complete with waterfalls with the clearest water I've ever seen, trees of the 'incense, pristine white sand, pink flamingos, gysers sprouting from the cliffs, a mad gold market. unmissable! I'm just saying that i have yet wrote an email to lonely planet describing the location with too little emphasis. alone is worth the ticket price. thanks hamid. one day we will return, inshallah
Salalah is amazing country and the advisor is expert and very supportive, i do recommend this travel agents.
Our guide Mr. Hamid a very friendly n helpful person he helped us along the difficult paths with kids which we would have skipped, and made our experience memorable. Views of waterfalls the blue water was amazing.
Was going to the mosque and the market ....also the mountain drive was awsome .Hamad is such a patient and good guide to people as he really gave us info in detail . That frankincense tree wow was shocked ..
Fantastic guide, he made us a wonderfull tour in a special day in east salalah. Very suggested for every kind of tour here!
Discovering East Salalah’s beautiful sights was an amazing experience. My favorite spots were Wadi Darbar’s cascades framed by big, beautiful trees, the waterfalls and a meandering stream with beautiful turquoise water. A rock-laden trail leading to the mouth of the stream was worth all the effort once you see the pretty scenery. Make sure you were grippy and comfy shoes. Our tour was capped with the wonderful view of the setting sun and the picturesque Taqah beach. Thanks to our awesome tour guide whose knowledge of the places and friendly banter kept us entertained all throughout the tour!
Very well covered especially the customization done as per my family requirements and timings. Loved the way Hamed guided throughout the tour. He became a family in no time and the kids loved his company. Thank you Hamed for such wonderful memories.
Salalah is a beautiful place. There are so many attractions to visit in your limited stay that you need an accomplished local guide. We worked out a comprehnsive 3-day itinerary with Hamid, including East of Salalah, that had a mix of nature, trails, beaches, culture and food. The first thing you will notice about Hamid is his cheerful smile...the next thing you will realize immediately is that, with Hamid, language and culture is not a barrier. Our 5 year old formed an instant friendship with Hamid too! Hamid is extremely accommodating and absolutely fun to hang out with. Like other reviewers have already mentioned, time spent in the car was as much fun as the time spent at the destination spots. Hamid gave us useful pointers prior to a destination, this way we were able to prepare ourselves and enjoy the destination as per our liking and preferences when we actually got there. Darbat valley and Taqa beach were amazing. Thanks to Hamid, we got a healthy and hearty dose of each of these! We left Salalah with good memories, and a promise to return!
we were met by our knowledgeable & very nice tour guide Hafez. Worth to book. Beautiful places to visit in East Salalah.
We had a great time in Salalah. Thanks a ton to Hamed who made our trip a memorable one, he was more than a guide and the way he cares his guests is remarkable. Thank you again :)
Professional company with very well experienced guides. We enjoyed our time in salalah. Highly recommended tours company
Full exposure to the sea east of Salalah, the cliff, the castles and seaside towns took one from the past to the present in just one day. Learning about boobab trees and enjoying the gardens and pools in the valleys was very much enjoyed. The guide was knowledgeable and curteous. He enjoyed sharing the sites of his region.
We had a great time in Salalah. Thank you Amazing Salalah Tourism for making our trip an absolute joy. I love your professionalism and how you took care of the all details... We loved the weather, heritage, the pure nature, the people and the foooooood was tiptop. We had a lovely anniversary indeed, the wife loved it and thats what matters. We are coming again. Much love <3
The tour with Hamed did contain a lot of diversity, which was very nice. For instance, we visited a town, the cascades (which included the possibility to swim), an archeological area and many more. Hamed was very skilled in the English language, has a high knowledge about the whole area and Oman as a whole and he was open to all type of questions, which rendered the time spent in the car just as precious as the time spent at the spots. Thus, to keep it short, I recommend this tour. :)
I strongly recommend this tour to anyone visits Salalah. A full day tour typically from 9 am to 6 pm during which you stop by many wonderful locations where you can take breathtaking photos of the amazing nature of Salalah. Special thanks to Mr. Musallam our tour guide who was very friendly and proactive and even made extra stops to show us other amazing locations that were not included in the original program. Well done, Mr. Musallam and Amazing Salalah tours. I hope to come back again to Salalah next year with you guys.
I did the day tour in the East Salalah region with Hamed from Amazing Salalah tourismshowed me so many beautiful places and told me so many interesting things about the country and its culture and history. I especially liked that Hamed was always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate my individual wishes, making this trip one of the highlights on my 2 months visit in the Middle East. I can totally recommend this tour to anyone who is in the south of Oman.
It was my first time with my family and a two year old son. Hamed was very good with his driving and took great care of us. Most importantly he went out of the way to show us more attractive places that were not even included in the package.
We had a fantastic tour with Hamed in Salalah. His knowledge of the area was amazing and he made the trip fun too. I would highly recommend this tour.
