Cesar was an excellent tour guide. He was able to teach me all about the Incas and show me the incredible history they left behind. He's also a really nice guy. We had a great lunch and he recommended a fantastic restaurant in Cusco that I enjoyed.

Experience the unique, centuries-old salt mines of the Andes, which have been actively harvested since Incan times. Your professional guide will walk you through the traditional salt extraction process and share fascinating historical insights and stories about this remarkable site.
We will visit one of the most interesting sites from a scientific point of view, since this place was a experimental laboratory where the inka people were able to acclimatize plants that did not grow in the high altitude, over 3500 m.a.s.l.
We will get in the archaeological park in Ollantaytambo and we will climb up around 200 steps to get to the temple of the sun to learn a lot of the incas history and be surprised by their impressive architecture.
We will visit an administrative and production center in incas time, where we will walk on the beautiful and big terraces and to learn about this technology developed by the incas. Also we will see a huge Inka cemetery and the water fountain the used for ceremonies and to irrigate their terraces.

My guide was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, great driver and overall so passionate about his work, it’s everything you can hope for in a guide. The scenery all spoke for itself, Sacred Valley really shows off. Must do while in Cusco.
After visiting Machu Picchu and spending a night at Skylodge near Ollantaytambo, we needed a way to get back to Cusco while ideally seeing some Sacred Valley sights along the way. This tour was perfect; pickup was on time and easy, and we were able to visit Moray, Maras, and Chinchero. We had a great time with Ricardo, who was friendly and knowledgable.
Miguel was highly experienced and knowledgeable. Learned a lot about the culture and history. Highly recommended
My mom and I just completed this tour with Miguel as our tour guide. It was such an incredibly memorable experience. Miguel made the tour interesting and educational as well as exciting. He shared his wealth of knowledge at every site and answered all of the questions we had. It’s clear he’s passionate about showing tourists the area and sharing Peru’s history. We had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling to the Sacred Valley!
This tour was exceptional! Everything went smoothly with booking and logistics. Oscar was both an awesome guide and driver. He was so knowledgeable on so many subjects and an excellent teacher (in addition to being friendly, funny, and wonderful to talk with). He planned the day expertly to each site when it wasn’t as busy and found perfect quieter spots to explain each site and take photos. Highly recommend letting him pick lunch- he clearly knows and loves the sacred valley and the people who live here, and the food and drinks were great. Van was comfortable and air conditioned, and Oscar knew the roads well/ like a pro.
Such a great day. Miguel was our guide for the day. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The sites were all amazing and Miguel was so knowledgable about everything. The place he took us for lunch was 10/10, even included a llama walking through the restaurant. Definitely reccomend this tour!
This private tour was hosted by Cesar, who is natively from the Sacred Valley. Because of this, his knowledge was not only vast, but deeply personal. It makes for a full day, but you get to see a fantastic chunk of the area—you really can’t beat having a local guide show you around for nine hours. Well worth it! Quick tip: Bring plenty of water and grab a sandwich in the morning for lunch. You spend a fair amount of time driving between sites, so packing a meal keeps things efficient. This isn't a knock on Cesar at all—stopping at a seated restaurant would just cut into your sightseeing time!
If I could rate this tour a 6 I would. Truly lives up to the name of Best Sacred Valley tour. Miguel was fantastic, with a wealth of knowledge and endless patience for all our questions! He truly does tailor the experience to the group's priorities. He took us to major historical sites and we stopped for lunch at a beautiful spot with a breathtaking view of the Andes. Went above and beyond what we were expecting and cannot recommend enough!
An outstanding experience. Miguel was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour was very comprehensive, yet tailored to our needs. I would highly recommend.
Oscar was extremely knowledgeable and curated the tour to fit our needs. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the sacred valley and enjoy their day. Such a great experience!
Oscar was one of the best guides we have ever had. We had a great tour with him. We learned a lot about Incan and Peruvian history.
This was probably the most special tour we have been on, and we’ve done quite a few through Viator, Get Your Guide, Airbnb, etc. We had Oscar as our guide and it was clear his passion and love for the Sacred Valley and the people in it. He shared a wealth of knowledge about Peru today and of course historically through the site and tour. He picked the most special distillery on Urubamba river to take us to lunch. Amazing good, great drinks! Long story short, I wish I had used Oscar and his company for all of our Peru tours — that is how cared for and insightful we felt by the end of the experience.
It was a great experience to have Miguel guided us to visit different beautiful places in Sacred valley. He introduced and talked about every details and stories behind the famous places for the Inca culture! We learned a lot about the history of Peru and Inca people. He also took us to an awesome restaurant for lunch, great food, beautiful views, and an awesome experience feeding the alpaca. Highly recommended!
This is the best private tour we have ever been on! Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, and he cultivated a very pleasant atmosphere. We learned so much and were captivated the entire day. All stops were incredibly interesting, and we feel the tour greatly deepened our knowledge of Peru and its history.
We had a great day exploring the Sacred Valley, Pisaq, Salt mines, Mountain View Experience, and Ollantaytambo. The views were stunning, the admission fee was reasonable for all of the different experiences we had. Our guide, Cesar, was an extremely knowledgeable local with tons of information on the history and culture of the area. He made sure we were on time to miss the crowds at the various venues, and gave us crucial tips for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended, 10/10!!
Our guide Miguel was super knowledgable about the history of Peru, Cusco region, Inka culture, etc, so not only he shared with us information about these attractions, but also the history, culture, people perspectives, adding lots of context to everything we got to see! The tour was flexible with timing and itinery, we were able to modify/add some stops we wanted, and Miguel and team were very helpful accommodating our wishes. He also took many great pictures of us! It was such a memorable experience for us!
Excellent, very informative tour. Our phenomenal guide Oscar (a local from the Sacred Valley) was very knowledgeable, a fun leader, and considerate of our group’s needs and how we were feeling throughout the day. We did the tour on our first full day in the Cusco area, which helped with acclimating as the altitude is slightly lower than Cusco itself. Highly recommend the tour—it was very much worth it.
Oscar was a great guide. The tour is amazing, and is full of history, nature, and incredible views! The restaurant in Maras with the llamas and alpacas was amazing too.
This was the highlight of our trip to Peru. Yes, we did two days walking Machu Picchu after this and this was even more worthwhile. Miguel was very knowledgeable, and fun to be with. He was flexible with our time and offered a lot of local knowledge. The lunch was great and a fun place with an alpaca sitting near us. I highly recommend this tour. You will not be dissapointed.
Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Oscar was amazing and really tailored the tour based on what we were looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable and really made the experience so worth it.
Miguel was our private tour guide for the day and he was absolutely wonderful! We learned so much about Peru from him. He was punctual and very polite. We highly recommend him!
Excellent guide and experience! Very good English and very knowledgeable. Sites were amazing, great day trip.
Our guide, Cesar, took us on a fantastic tour of the sacred valley. We could pick our sites to visit and Cesar made sure we were well informed and comfortable. We really loved the local knowledge Cesar provided while visiting the amazing areas he grew up in. Highlights were the archaeological sites, learning the Incan history, and lunch with Llamas! Thanks for a great day Cesar!
It was great getting a private tour of the key sights of the Sacred Valley, our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable. It was so efficient getting from place to place with just us vs having to wait for others on a larger tour, and also having the flexibility to stop when we needed to. Definitely recommend this tour!
The tour was well organized, and communication via WhatsApp was excellent. We received all necessary information in advance, and visiting the four Sacred Valley sites was enjoyable. However, we expected more from the guide, especially on a private tour. He shared the basic information at each site but then left us to explore on our own. We had hoped for more detailed explanations and a more interactive experience. The guide also seemed somewhat rushed at times, giving us the impression that he wanted to finish the tour quickly. Compared to other tours we booked in Peru, this one felt less informative and less personalized. Overall, a well-organized tour, but the guiding experience did not fully meet our expectations.
We loved our entire experience! Was such a great day and we learned so much about the Sacred Valley. Would really recommend!
Ricardo was an excellent guide. Outstanding day.
My wife and I took the Best Sacred Valley tour from Ollantaytambo a few weeks ago, and our tour guide was Ricardo. We cannot highly recommend this tour and Ricardo enough! He was very friendly and easy to talk to, and had so much information to give us. We spent eight hours together, and I bet he would've still had more info for us for another eight hours. We took our tour on our first full day in Peru, and it was the perfect primer for the rest of the week. Ricardo did such a good job of highlighting the most important aspects of ancient Inca culture, architecture, and history, we were able to finish the guide's sentences on tours later in the week, thanks to our well-rounded education. Learning about the deep connection to nature and the movements of the stars, while walking along the grass at the base of the terraces in Ollantaytambo was a particularly powerful experience. The information resonated with me on a deep level, and learning about it while looking at something so majestic with the sun on my face is an image that will live rent free in my mind forever. Thank you to the tour company, and especially Ricardo for this unforgettable experience, and the great photos!
This is an amazing Sacred Valley tour. This is a private tour that includes transit between locations. The best part was our guide Oscar, he was so informative, fun and professional. I recommend that you do this tour when in the Sacred Valley. Oscar was so awesome that we canceled our private driver/transfer to Cusco a few days later and booked a second tour (that also included a drop off at our new hotel in Cusco). We did the Pachamanca tour in the Patacancha community. You can book many tours with Oscar and his team, a wonderful contact and person to connect with in Peru!
This was the best tour we have gotten in the whole of Peru and we have come twice already. Our guide Oscar and our driver Don Zenón “The best driver in the whole of Peru” were nothing short of amazing! The tour was absolutely tailored to everything we wanted or needed and they made sure to give us options so that we could pick which ever was a better option based on how tired we were. The place they took us to have lunch was amazing in a beautiful scenery! 100% recommended and if we brought other relatives or friends to Cusco we will take them on this tour. Even make yourself a favor and check their direct contact on the website of EXCLUSIVE INKA TOUR our only regret was not finding them earlier and booking the rest of our tours in Peru with them
We went on The Best Private Sacred Valley Tour in Cusco by Exclusive Inka Tour in April, 2026. Our guide, Oscar, picked us up at our Airbnb in Cusco and drove us back there at the end of the day. He was very knowledgeable and took us to all of the Inka sites in the Sacred Valley, including a top notch restaurant for lunch. The Inka sites were impressive but equally impressive was what we learned about Inka history and culture along with how these sites fit in. I highly recommend the tour.
Very well organized. Communicated very well. Excellent choice of experiences and Oscar was fantastic! He was friendly, very knowledgeable, very helpful. Highly recommend him!!
We started this tour with a pick up from our hotel in Cusco and ended at Ollantaytambo station to catch our train to Machu Picchu. Our guide Miguel was excellent. He was friendly and knowledgeable about all of our stops and provided lots of useful information throughout the day. We swapped Pisaq for Chinchero as we finished in Ollantaytambo which worked out perfectly for the time we had. Had a wonderful lunch at a restaurant recommended by Miguel. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a high quality private sacred valley tour.
Great private (5 of us) tour around the sacred valley with Oscar. VERY informative and friendly guide. We loved hearing about the history of each place we visited. He was also very kind to make an extra stop to drop off our daughter who did not feel well in the middle of the tour. He can pick up in Cusco or Sacred valley (and drop off in different location as well- just reach out and ask beforehand).
I had the most magical day with Caessr!!! It was just him and I and he showed me all the best spots he tailored, to what I wanted to see. From the ruins to lunch to seeing women dye yarn in the home, everything was social. He is super easy to talk to and I felt like we are friends after the tour ended! One of the best tours I’ve done and I’ve been to over 30 countries. Don’t miss out on this tour!
Oscar is an awesome guide who is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Inka civilization. He drove us safely to all the stunning sights. It was a fantastic day!
Review for Oskar Our trip to Peru would be completely different if we would not meet Oscar and Cynthia. We surely pre-booked our tours in Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and around Cusco. We booked with different guides considering the distance between these places. And… we met Oscar. The rest of the trip was easy. We canceled our bookings with other agencies and spent 4 days together with Oscar. He is very knowledgeable and professional; gentle and understanding; has great sense of humor; and he LOVES Peru and he is PROUD of his country very much. It is hard to predict the future, however if we make another trip to Peru instead of sitting in the brutal cold in New York, it will be very easy planning: Airplane tickets, hotels bookings and Oscar! Not sure what to add to this review. I believe we can call Oscar a friend at this point. It just clicked for us. Sincerely, Oleg and Katherine.
Very informative host and easy travel to Olytaytambo area. Oscar was very kind and helpful, and it was exciting to learn about Incan history from him!
Miguel is hands down one of the best tour guides in the Sacred Valley. When I booked the tour, I was mostly excited about taking photos at beautiful places—but Miguel completely changed the experience. His explanations made the history come alive, and I found myself imagining how people lived and built these incredible sites in the past. He explained how important agriculture was to the Inca, from the mountain terraces that created a greenhouse effect to the perfectly shaped stones that fit together like a puzzle and helped the walls survive earthquakes. Seeing stones that were still unfinished made it even more fascinating. One thing I really appreciated is that Miguel rearranges the tour order, so we visited famous sites without the crowds. Every stop was peaceful, quiet, and perfect for photos. Lunch was at a hidden-gem restaurant with an amazing view—and you can even interact with llamas and alpacas! At the salt mines, Miguel explained how the pools produce different types of salt, including white, pink, and brown salt used for skincare. At Chinchero and Ollantaytambo, his stories about religion, stone colors, and ancient sacrifices added so much meaning to what we were seeing. The massive red stones at the top of Ollantaytambo are just mind-blowing. This tour was so much more than sightseeing. If you want to truly understand the Sacred Valley, I highly recommend Miguel.

Awesome tour with our guide, Raul, who brought all the sights to life with his impressive knowledge of the Inka history and culture. Also, our driver, Juan Carlos, was very safe and courteous on the road and had nice soft folk music playing during the drive. This is an all day tour so have a lunch plan in place. Also, if you take this tour they can drop you off at a different location in the Sacred Valley. Had we realized this earlier we probably would have ended the tour at Ollantaytambo and saved ourselves a separate transport the next day to the train station headed to Machu Picchu.
A beautiful experience! Sacred Valley has one of the most beautiful landscape in the world. Highlight of the trip was spending time feeding Llamas and Alpacas. They were so cute. And of course I have a great guide.
We had an incredible Sacred Valley tour, and our guide Oscar made it even better. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the whole day fun and relaxed. He even recommended a perfect local spot for lunch that ended up being one of our favorite meals in Peru. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! You won’t regret it.
My daugther and I had an amazing day touring the Sacred Valley with Exclusive Inca Tours. Our guide and driver Miguel was so knowledgeable about the sites and the whole area. He suggested an itinerary and listened to our requests. He even paced the stair climbing stopping every now and then for a rest and interesting stories and information. He brought us to a restaurant for lunch with breathtaking views, delicious local entrees and Llamas and Alpacas to feed. We couldn’t have had a better day! Thank you Miguel
Miguel was extremely knowledgeable about the Incan history and culture at every archaeological site. Our visit would probably not have been as memorable without the insight Miguel provided. He also gave us great info on the surrounding areas in the Sacred Valley and Peru in general, both historically, with current events and everyday life. He was very accommodating to our needs, bringing us to a great breakfast and lunch location as well as adjusting the tour to end at Ollantaytambo to drop us off at the train station to Machu Picchu. If you only have a few days in the Sacred Valley, this tour is a great way to get the most experiences out of your visit.
Great tour. Super knowledgeable driver. And lunch with a view! Having a driver from the area was invaluable. He was able to answer all of our questions (and we had a lot!).
Our guide, Raūl, was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. From start to finish he catered the tour to our needs and desires while also suggesting things to enhance our experience of the Sacred Valley and surrounding areas. He allowed us to have a one of a kind and unforgettable experience.
Overall best experience I had in Peru. Best Tour Guide Oscar. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Oscar spoke English better than any other guide. You can tell he spends a significant amount of time practicing. The time for each stop was more than enough and well organized.
We were with Miguel. We learned so much. He took us to the best restaurant for lunch where you can hang out with alpacas. I also lost my hat in the wind at Maras Salt Mine. And he rescued my hat that flew away. He's the best guide ever. His explanation was so easy to understand and he had a good sensibility knowing nice places to eat and experience.
