I booked the private tour a few months in advance, and just reading the reviews really convinced me to choose this service. The reviews certainly did not lie. Edoardo was incredible from start to finish. I was constantly asking him questions before our tour, and he answered all my doubts with detailed responses in a timely manner, which I truly appreciated. I felt well-prepared for the tour. The way Edoardo explained the history of Machu Picchu made the experience even more special and memorable for us. You could tell he was very knowledgeable and passionate about this subject, and he told us the story with so much enthusiasm. It was like stepping back in time. He picked us up on time and dropped us off at the entrance of Wayna Picchu. I can't imagine having done this without Edoardo guiding us. I highly recommend him.

So glad that we did Macchu Picchu with Edward guiding us round, we had a private tour and Edward had great information and knowledge for every single bit as well as making the tour good fun showing us photos either historically or ones which he has taken himself. Eduardo was great and the communication was perfect with help getting from our hotel to the bus and then greeting us as we got off. We weren’t sure if we would hire a guide for Machu Picchu but are so glad we did. We met Edward in line for the bus in Aquas Calientes. He approached us about a tour and was not pushy. We agreed on a price and he took the bus up with us. Once in, he was very informative and patient as we wanted to take lots of photos. Edwardo was great. He arranged for someone to meet us at the hotel and get us on the bus. He was waiting at the citadel. One of our group needed some extra attention due to some balance issues and Edwardo was right there to help and adjust our tour to accommodate all of us. He shared personal stories and experiences and gave a great history of Macu Picchu, and always with a smile.

We booked this tour ahead of time and communicated via WhatsApp. Responses were timely. We met our guide, Edward Salas at the train station and he guided us to the bus office to pick up our tickets and then to the boarding area for the bus to Machu Picchu gate. It was all seamless and very helpful. Edward was fantastic. He imparted his knowledge of the Incan history and culture in a very clear way and used illustrations and pictures to help us understand. He also knew all the best spots to take pictures and took many nice photos of our family for us. You could tell he was also respected by other guides because many other guides seemed to know and greet him. We did circuit 2 and finished in about 2 hours and never felt rushed. He truly made the experience memorable for us. Not only for the figures we have but for the appreciation of the Incan culture he imparted to us.

We just finished a circuit two tour of Machu Picchu with Edwardo. It was one of best days of our lives. Edwardo is your man - request him! We purchased the private tour guide from Aguas Calientes (where we stayed to avoid the high altitude of Cusco). If you have any concerns about booking from the US or abroad, the logistics were seamless. There were multiple points of contact made before the trip, a woman met us right on time at our hotel, and walked and waited with us for the bus to the site. Edwardo met us right off the bus. He loaned us two soles each to use the only bathroom at the location bc we had not exchanged to local money. We made a self made error with our entrance ticket purchase (we chose to purchase on own and use the tour part only) and Edwardo calmly went completely out of his way to help us solve the issue. On the tour, he proved himself deeply knowledgeable and passionate about Incan history and culture and additionally knew every nook and cranny of the physical space. He conveyed the knowledge in virtually perfect English. We took as much time as we needed, in fact over 2.5 hours touring the place. He really unlocked the majesty and magic of Machu Picchu for us. On top of that, he helped us capture our day with amazing photos and video - even a rainbow! Do not hesitate for a second to use Edwardo for this once in a lifetime bucket list tour. Btw we overheard a couple of other tours and they just did not compare.

On our way to the bus we ran into Eduardo and we are so thankful we did! He has an excellent understanding of the archeological site. He took amazing professional pictures. He was extremely patient and able to answer any questions we had. You can tell he has a deep appreciation for the site and is eager to share it with tourists. He carries a booklet with infographics to help breakdown concepts he introduces. I would recommend Eduardo to anyone that is going to Machu pichu. He speaks Spanish English and Portuguese. 10/10 recommend!!!

Our guide Eduardo was a top notch guide, very friendly as extremely knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful to us seniors. His communication in English was impeccable. He helped us take pictures at the most scenic sites. We loved his passion for the Inca culture and history.

Machu Picchu was truly fantastic and a real must visit. But what made our trip more wonderful was our A1 Numero Uno Guide, Edward Sales. From the time I texted Edward inquiring about the trip I knew I have found my guide and the instant he picked as up at our hotel, I knew we were in good hands. Edward is a truly dedicated professional with a very in-depth knowledge of Machu Picchu made even more so by making his own research and experiments. Yes, that is the right word as he would attend the site's Solstice Events to prove his theories. Edward also has the eye for getting his guests get the shortest and quickest underused line at the entrance. Edward was able to get us in the best vantage area to take Machu Picchu pictures reserved only to very, very few tour guides. I booked with Inca Traveller as I found their rates much, much competitive and the best in the market.

We went through circuit 3 (Machu picchu + another small montain beside). Wilbert was a very friendly, joyful and passionate guide about history, also keen to take awesome photos to leave good souvenir. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic private tour with Edward in Machu Picchu. We were met at our hotel in MP Pueblo and Edward took us to the bus ticket sales location, then onto the bus. We took Route 2 through the site and noticed that some tour guides took their clients through a shorter version. Edward was very informative and knowledgeable about the site. We also overheard some of the other guides while walking around, our experience was definitely better! We had a second visit planned for the next day through circuit 4 and hike of WaynaPicchu, Edward helped by showing us how to get to the access by ourselves. Definitely recommend a tour with Edward and a tour in general. The info you get from a guided tour is worth the cost.

I booked a private tour,as a solo traveller, for the early entrance at Machu Picchu. Everything was amazing, Ed was perfectly on time for the pickup. We just returned from a private guided tour in Machu Picchu with Edward. It was fantastic! On beforehand I had quite some practical questions, but Edward responded quickly, in good English, via whatsapp, with clear explanations. On the day itself all what was agreed on beforehand was done exactly as said. Exactly on time for pickup at our hotel, explanations on the way up to the citadel and then the tour in the citadel. Edward went to all important places, without taking shortcuts as we saw other guides doing. He gave extensive information about history of the site, he is clearly passionate about his job, and made sure we saw everything without rushing. He also made a huge amount of pictures. Today I did the trial tour with Nancy departing from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. Nancy is a wonderful guide, very caring and competent. She explained to me all the hostility of the Incas and Machu Picchu. It also guided me on other tours in Cusco. She welcomed me at the train station yesterday and took me to my hotel.
