Gregory was our guide for circuit 3B. One of his affiliates picked us up at our hotel in Aguas Calientes and helped us board the bus to Machu Picchu, and Gregory met us at the bus station near the entrance. He explained Inca history and the history of Machu Picchu in great detail and took great pictures and videos of our family. We would have missed a lot of important details if we didn't have a guide to explore. Well worth it. He was probably one of the best guides we had during our trip to Peru. Thank you, Gregory!

5/5 Stars – An Unforgettable Private Tour with Gregory! My husband and I booked a 3-hour private tour of Machu Picchu Circuit 2A in August 2026, and Gregory was an absolutely fantastic guide! From the very beginning, his English was excellent, making communication through WhatsApp effortless. He turned our walk through the Inca citadel into an incredible, deeply engaging history lesson about Machu Picchu. We paid $70 for the tour, and it was worth every single penny. Beyond his extensive historical knowledge, Gregory acted as our personal photographer. He knew exactly where to stop for the best angles and spots to take pictures, capturing beautiful memories for us. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend him to anyone visiting Machu Picchu!

Gregory is a very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and patient guide. Many of the things we learned from him elevated our experience not just at Machu Picchu but also later in Cusco. He also made a special effort to communicate with a family member who is hard of hearing.

Our guide Gregory at Machu Picchu was excellent. He had great knowledge of the site and provided interesting and detailed information throughout Circuit 3B. He was also very helpful with taking photos and videos and knew some great spots for getting the best shots. We never felt rushed or hurried along, and he took the time to answer all of our questions. He was friendly, patient, and very informative. We had a great experience and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting Machu Picchu.

Gregory was an incredible guide. I had purchased Circuit 1 and 3, and he managed to squeeze both of them in efficiently. Also, my train was set to leave at 5:30 pm and Gregory was able to plan the tour so I could see everything and still make my train. Furthermore, Gregory was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and concisely. Finally, Gregory is an excellent photographer. He took the best pictures and videos. If you're planning to visit Machu Picchu, Gregory is a must.

Highly recommend Gregory! We booked super last minute (day before) as we were not sure if we wanted a guide and what day we would get MP tickets as we bought them at the office in person. We are so glad we used him as our guide! Gregory confirmed our booking immediately, and communication via WhatsApp was excellent. He met us at the train station and accompanied us to the Bus station and took us a few minutes down the road from the main station where were could immediately board a bus with no waiting which was a amazing with a 3 year old! Once we entered Machu picchu at our allotted time we did a roughly 2hr tour with him. We requested no longer given we were with a toddler. Gregory told us all about the site, took the best photos (and knew the best spots) which is absolutely fantastic to have when traveling as a family as often one parent is left out. He was very patient with our son and he was actually amazing having another pair of hands as our son held his hand more than ours walking around most of the site. After our visit we again immediately boarded our bus with no que and headed back to Aguas Caliente. Overall, we had an excellent tour with Gregory and we would recommend to anyone heading to MP, he really enhances the experience so much and is a lovely guy. Thanks again Gregory!!

Our whole experience with Gregory as our guide for Machu Picchu was great. The meetup was easy, with communication through WhatsApp. He guided us through the bus ticket purchase process and made sure we were in the correct lines to get on the bus and enter Machu Picchu. He provided interesting information and helped us to take great photos. We enjoyed the experience so much that we booked his brother as a guide for a different circuit the next day, since Gregory wasn't available on such short notice. Our experience with Gregory's brother was just as great.

After we bought our bus tickets @ Consettur, David met us & confirmed we were in the correct bus line. He took our photo, so that our guide @ Machu Picchu could easily recognize us. As soon as we got off the bus, our guide, Hiram introduced himself & welcomed us. Hiram led an excellent circuit 2a tour; he explained the history of the various sections we visited while pointing out archeological details. He let us know where the best photo opportunities were & always offered to be our photographer, even suggesting fun poses ☺️ Part way through our tour, one of our group members started feeling ill. Hiram immediately adjusted our tour - finding shady spots for her to rest/sip water & a quicker route to complete the circuit while continuing to highlight the amazing sites. He had a caring professional demeanor & a sense of humor - never rushing us & always asking if we had any questions. What could have turned into a not so pleasant experience, Hiram made our visit to Machu Picchu a very special one! ¡Muchismas Gracias Hiram & David!

Gregory is excellent. I booked him as a guide for 6 am trip barely 2 days before and he still accepted my request. He came to the hotel to pick me up. He did not rush through the whole thing. It really helped with the high altitude. He took a lot of time to explain ruins. Best of all he took very nice pictures of me. As a solo traveler I consider myself lucky if I get at least one pic of me which is not selfie. He took a lot of time and took great shots. I recommend him to anyone visiting Machu Picchu

Gregory was our Machu Picchu guide for circuits 2A and 3B on two consecutive days. He met us at our hotel and took the bus with us to MP. He was excellent- not only knowledgeable about MP and Inca culture, but also a genius photographer. He told us he used to be a porter and had done the Inca trail hundreds of times, and it really shows. He knows MP like the back of his hand. Knows all the best photo spots and exactly how to capture the magic of MP. He took some awesome panoramic videos for us and my husband called him a “human drone”. He is engaging and made things interesting for my teenage daughter. He taught us so much about the Incan culture. We have traveled the world and have met dozens of guides all over, Gregory truly stands out as a genuine and authentic person, passionate about his heritage and goes above and beyond to make our visit to MP a memorable experience. Our guide gregory was great. He was super informative, friendly and spoke great English. Would definitely recommend. The organisation was very good we received WhatsApp confirmation directly from tour guide when he would arrive to our hotel and helped us with the shuttle bus and entrance. We had a 12 am route 2A which was perfect. No line for shuttle bus tickets or entrance as we arrived directly on time.

Our tour guide, Hiram, was very kind and taught us in detail about the history and architecture of Machu Picchu. He welcomed our questions and kindly took wonderful photos and videos for us. Even though it was the foggy season, the weather was clear, and we were lucky enough to see a stunning sea of clouds — the views was absolutely breathtaking. Please note that jumping, singing, or shouting loudly is prohibited at Machu Picchu, highly recommended!

We did the private tour with the Sophi guide and she was perfect. Very friendly, always with detailed information and very interesting, in addition to being a great photographer, including tips for good points for photography. Gregory Javier is an awesome guide! First, the train was about 15 minutes late getting into Machu Pichu, but he was there to meet us at the station. We were in constant communication since he got the assignment. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the Incas and Machu Pichu. He indicated the best spots for pictures and suggested poses where I was content to take pics from anywhere. He was mindful of the time as I had a train to catch right after but we didn't feel rushed at all during the visit We even had some time, though we had to be quick, for a meal and he took us to a nice restaurant near by, with instructions to prioritize our meals. In our rush leaving, I'm sorry that I forgot to tip him.
